I know there are alot of Hulkamaniacs out there as well as people who hate Hogan
What do you guys think of Hogan?
I hate him I liked him when Hulkamania was young then he got boring and got tired of his backstage politics and refusing to put younger guys over.

There was a time when I could not stand Hulk Hogan. Now, however, I regognize Hogan for what he is: A pathetic glory-hog who is trying to milk what remaining bit of money he can from the business that made him a celebrity by treading on a name that, for a reason unbeknown to me, still excites some people.

I try not to be affected by stories of backstage politics because that's all they are; stories. I'm not there, I don't know anyone who is there, and it's not part of the show. Therefore I can't confirm or deny whether they really happened. He could be holding people back, but it's just as easy for guys who feel they are being held back to need a person to blame it on and then it's almost always going to be a top guy.
The last time he was in WWF/E he lost to Undertaker, Triple H, Rock, gave up a submission loss to Angle, and was KOed against Lesnar. He also put over Edge by teaming with him. As Mr. America he lost to Sean O'Hair.
Regardless, he is the biggest draw probably in the history of the sort. He can be a big power guy while in the states and a mat wrestler in Japan. He's showed his funny side as Mr. America and his evil side in both the nWo and in his early WWF work. He was part of the biggest match ever at Mania 3, even if it wasn't the best match on the card. He was the first to break through to the mainstream as a wrestler. And I will always be willing to pay to see him.

I did not base my opinion of Hulk Hogan on rumors and stories from backstage, but rather the way he comes accross to me. Generally, however, if a person hears basically the same story about someone from a variety of sources, while it may be somewhat exaggerated, there is probably some truth to the story.
As far as Hogan losing to people during his last run in WWE, those losses were expected. Hogan was being well compensated for his nostalgia show, but at the end of the day, there was no realistic way Hogan could beat any of the wrestlers mentioned in the above post. The fact that Triple H dropped the belt to Hogan shows how much of team player he is.

Well, that was just my general opinion. Nothing aimed at your opinion, Joe, just how I see it. But I've never been a huge fan of Flair and I think that's what's great about Pro Wrestling. There's something for everyone (As long as you are a male ages 8-34 ).

I didn't take it that way at all, Talison. Personally, many of the so-called "insiders" who have never been inside annoy the hell out of me.
