EC dub! EC dub! Heh heh..as far as promotion that don't exist, it would have to be good ol ECW. I guess that's the hardcore in me Although its quality declined someone in the late 90's and into 2000 before it died shortly after. The ECW meterial from the mid 90'sm 95-97 is usually real good. On top of all the blood, they also had some great cruiserweight exibitions. THey were some the best I've seen in American wrestling..at least maybe before ROH. As far as the angles..I always thought ECW had good writting, and props to Paul E. He did a great job in that department. The Raven / Tommy Dreamer has to be on anyones list of Top wrestling feuds. One of the coolest. PLainly put, ECW was awesome.

It did get to make it to several ECW shows in the late 90's, around 98. It was always a good time. ECW just had a feel about that you don't find in professional wrestling anymore.

ECW was more like going to a rock concert then going to most wrestling events. People on there feat from begining to end, topless girls, fights in the crowd, and if you pay attention you may see wrestlers hanging out in the crowd (I met Balls Mahoney and Lance Storm this way).

I had a hard time catching it while it was still around because it only showed on one channel for a very short period (probably 3-6 months) and then it was gone because the WWE took over that channel. I'm getting to buy some of the PPVs here and there, and have enjoyed them. Wish I could have seen more of it before it went the way of the dodo.

I used to stay up and watch that at 2am on the Madison Square Garden Network. Half the time, I fell asleep before the hour was up.

I din't discover ECW until I saw a preview for Wrestle Palooza '98. After watching that, I was a fan till the end.I feel sorry now that it's gone, but memories will always keep it alive, especially the ones of Heat Wave '98, which in my opinion, was their best pay-per-view. The Dreamer/Dudleys feud was classic, so were the many promos with Van Dam and Sabu. God, that stuff was great...

My bootleg fed is strongly influenced by ECW back in the day. Nowadays i run my bootleg feds as more of a mixture between ECW, CZW,ROH, and FMW.
It was hard to see ECW fall, ECW offered up some of the best wrestling on TV. And FMW went under not long after ECW did whoch was a big surprise. I miss both promotions.

Same here, Brandon. My fed is a combination of ECW and FMW. I pictured it somewhat in the atmosphere of cheap over-crouded arenas with obnoxious but ever dedicated fans, with that sense that it's something original and nowhere to be found whether on Earth or in the galaxy. Allthough some of the wrestlers may be considered "old" or "outdated" I consider them just as new as when they were created.
And as for ECW, may it rest peacefully, though I wish it had gone out with a bigger bang, and Dreamer had been its last champion to hold the belt, I mean, have you ever seen a wrestler mor dedicate to the company? Oh well, that's just the way the ball rolls I guesse. Federations come and go, but I don't think any will top the good ol' EC F'N W, even long after we're gone, and I hope it stays that way.

Literally too. And Lance Storm (atleast I heard it was him) should have gotten a good ol' fashioned a** kickin' from the innovater of violence for that.
