As a resident of the great state of Indiana and a former fan of the Indiana University men's basketball program, I'd like to politely ask Kelvin Sampson to eat my fat, white ass with a spoon. Someone fire that clown immediately and let Dakich take the program over (or go hire Alford like they should have done in the first place). Thank you.

I'd like to politely ask Kelvin Sampson to eat my fat, white ass with a spoon. That's some tasty imagery. There's probably plenty of areas near Wrigley Field you can get that don. Oh, yeah. Replace one class act with another.

Would love to see Dakich get a chance. He was head coach at Bowling Green (my a.m.) for many years and the Falcons had some great seasons under him. Then, several years ago he accepted a job to West Virgina (I think) and after one day on the job had a change of heart and came back to BG.
The program wasn't the same after that, with many, many scholoarship players leaving the program over the last few years.
Regardless though, he is a great coach and will bring a sense of discipline and order back to IU.

There are rumblings out of IU that Sampson could be suspended very soon (and probably until there's an official NCAA ruling so they can fire him without getting sued). It'd be nice to be able to root for IU again.

Being a huge Kentucky fan living in Louisville, and only about 10 minutes away from Indiana, I know plenty of Hoosiers. Plus, I almost went to IU to play baseball, so they hold a high regard for me.
Saying that, those players there now are going to be the ones that suffer...Sampson had baggage and will be gone. Yet, he'll show up someone coaching within the next couple of years while the players, who show loyalty to IU, will be screwed and sitting at home during the tournament.
This is a rule the NCAA should seriously consider changing. Fine the university, but don't screw the kids who did absolutely nothing from playing in the tournament.
While Sampson is a jackass, IU was stupid enough to hire him with the baggage he brought. Hopefully, they can get rid of the Sampson stench and get a good guy in there.
BTW, I really hope DJ White has played his way into a lottery pick. I'd take 10 players like him anyday!!

IU is to blame here, perhaps even moreso than Kelvin Sampson, who has to be one of the dumbest human beings to ever sit the sideline at a major university. Seriously, even Jerry Tarkanian waited a until a couple years would pass at his new university before creating the same shitstorm of controversy that always surrounded him.
The most amazing thing about the hiring of Sampson to me is that IU, a program that placed such emphasis on having done things "the right way" over the years, offered him a job while he was still being investigated for wrongdoings at Oklahoma. If memory serves me, he also had a less than stellar graduation rate down.
On the upside, they are a very exciting team to watch and could make a deep run in the tournament for the first time in six years.
Eric Gordon and DJ White are both exceptional talents and have a real shot at carrying the Hoosiers to the Final Four.
