What a game! I was surprised that they matched up my CMU Chippewas with Purdue since they got whipped by them earlier this year. Being down 34-13 and then outscoring Purdue 28-7 in the 3rd qtr to tie at 41was awesome. What a comeback. Although I knew they would lose because they scored with too much time left and that last second FG was no surprise. But a helluva comeback and for a MAC team to compete with a Big 10 team like that, was awesome to see. Dan LeFevour is the MAN!

Yeah I watch this game too, and it was very entertaining. I was pulling for CMU to get the upset... their QB looks 13!

Way to bring further embarrassment on the Big 10, Purdue...I really, really wanted to hear more of "The Buckeyes didn't beat anybody!" going into the title game.
But man, other than the clunker in Albuqerque, every game so far has been a nailbiter. I hope this keeps up.

College football is all about parody these days, I mean, Boise St beat Oklahoma last year, c'mon! I don't recall anybody calling the Big 12 garbage after that bowl game. People love to pick on the Big 10 recently, but if anyone cares to notice, the Big 10 had somewhere around 10 teams bowl eligible. The only other conference to do that was the SEC. But for some reason, when the SEC does it, its because the conference is so good, when the Big 10 does it, it's because the conference sucks. Now, I do agree the SEC is probably the best conference in the country, but they play nobody out of conference. They use the toughness of their conference as an excuse as to why they schedule cupcakes. You'll never see an SEC team tavel north to play a game, NEVER.

With all due respect to Payback and his alma mater, CMU is the pits, at least by conference champion standards.
A 52-7 loss to Kansas.
A 45-22 loss to...Purdue.
A 44-14 loss to North Dakota State.
A 70-14 loss to Clemson.
That's their OOC schedule--there was absolutely no reason for Purdue to have to pull that one out the way they did.

Yeah dude, I don't think Payback would argue that. I think the point was that it was a very exciting game from two teams who shouldn't have been matched up in a bowl game.

But after months and months and months after "DERRR OSU DIDN'T PLAY ANEEBODY BIG 10 IS WEEK D00D"--however true that may be--I was kind of hoping for a snoozefest.
