Rajon Rondo and I'm predicting right now that he has a better year than most will anticipate. Having seen Rondo thru High School, to Kentucky to Boston...if he ever got a jump shot he'd be unstoppable.

Rondo should have a good season, I think.
But even without a 'true' point guard (Say, if they used Eddie House for signifigant minutes) I think it'll be OK.. Pierce, Allen and Garnett all can pass... it would be like when they made a run under Jim O'Brien... Tony Delk was the point guard, but Walker and Pierce ran the offense.

I've never been a big fan of Miller, but he's make a nice scoring option of the bench, assuming he can still shoot. I do like them signing Scott Pollard.. he's a great back up center

If Miller signs, The Celtics are easily the most likable team in the NBA, if they aren't already. How could you not cheer for them?

That's another person on the Bandwagon Hey BDS, what are they saying about Miller out in your neck of the woods?

Very little, WIldfire. I saw what everyone else did on ESPN, but then I haven't heard anything else.
If Reggie Miller joins the Celtics, though, then I'm definitely rooting for them. How could you not root for "team full of old guys who never won?"

Although Reggie Miller announced yeterday he decided not to return to the NBA with the Celtics, Boston today did sign James Posey and I consider that a good move.

Posey is a solid addition

Posey is a great signing, especially considering what they have for cap space.

Miller's not coming back...he knew better...Remember that other conference in the NBA call the West? Miller did and that is why he said no thanks. Hate to Bust Up your green love fest, but a team from that conference is going to win the title.

I agree that the West has the top, say 5 or 6 teams, but if the Celts can win the East (not an unreasonable thing to think about) ANYTHING can happen in a short series.. see Miami a couple years ago

see Miami a couple years ago I agree that anything can happen, but tht Miami team, how long were they together? It was their first year playing together and the new look clovers, while great individual talents, will need that time to gel...look for them in the 2009.

There's still time to climb on!
2-0... KG looks like, well, exactly how he should look, like one of the best teams in the game.
The fact they beat Toronto when Paul Pierce couldn't throw the ball in the ocean was fantastic!

Last call for the Celtics Bandwagon!
People are STILL picking the Los Angeles Kobes to win, despite the butt kicking in progress... the lvoe fest with the most overrated player in history continues...

I mind as well jump on the bandwagon, though I've never been able to fully comprehend team sports where everyone is on the field trying to score at the same time (i.e. basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, etc.) Never played them in an organized league, so I fail to grasp the most basic concepts.
