Congratulations to the D-Backs, although I'd be lying if I hope that anything other than the Rockies crushing them happens. Bring on the Hot Stove League!

Its the curse for the Tournament Master
He was rooting for the Mets and they lost so in the Playoffs he rooted for the Cubs and they lost
Who is next to fall to the curse for the Tournament Master?

well, he can root for the yankees until they lose. and then he can pull for the indians afterwards so that they lose to the red sox!

Good. Now we can start moving forward to the Hot Stove League. Ahh, baseball, the only sport that never really takes a break from its fans.

Hey BDS, remember that time in our Hot Stove league when Wildfire offered you Jacob Ellsbury and Clay Bucholz for Carlos Zambrano, and you rejected it?
Well now that Bucholz has thrown a no-hitter, and Ellsbury provided a spark to the World Series-winning Sox offense, all I can say is Neener neener neener...
As if things would have been any different if you had "accepted" that offer. Ha.

Hind sigh is 20/20, if we could see the future and the events we'd all be millionaires.

I still would not trade Zambrano for Ellsbury and Bucholz, even now. When the Cubs win the series, it will be that much better because Big Z is a part of it. I can just see him throwing the last out and then spontaneously combusting.

I can just see him throwing the last out and then spontaneously combusting. Are you serious??? Bucholz is gonna be better than Z by himself, never mind 'throwing in' a guy that could steal 40-50 bases, hit .300, and, (with the sox anyway) score well over 100 runs....

Yep. Dead serious. I still wouldn't do it. This has nothing to do with ability or anything like that. Z's just my favorite player in baseball right now.
Except for A-Rod! We love you, Alex!
