I just watched the news and the Buffalo Bandits downed the Rock 19-10 in Toronto to advance to the NLL Championship against the Calgary Roughnecks in Calgary.
Hobbitizer it looks like the underdogs are going to battle it out for the Cup in 2004. Goodluck to your team, it will be a event win or lose.
GO BANDITS!

Picked up my tickets for the final ($20 Canadian - upper bowl, first row, center ice). Hope it will be a good game, as I have never seen the Bandits play, but heard they like to cheat (hey I read it in the paper, so it must be true)
GO RIGGERS!

We are a hard hitting team that takes it to the opponent, the thing that sucks is the game will be aired here at 10:30 pm May 7th, I might go to my dads and watch it live. Anyway this has been a great year for both our teams Hobbitizer, we'll see who will end the season with the WIN.

Tonight's is the night. Supposed to be a Sea of Black, instead of the C of Red. A bunch of Flames players are supposed to make an appearance, as they did last night at the Metallica concert as well.
Should be rockin'

Congrats Darin on the Rougnecks Championship win lastnight...
It looked like a good game, we'll see what will happen next year if the players will sign a new contract and keep the league going.

Thanks, Dennis.
It was probably the best lacrosse game that I have ever seen. The fans were totally on the edge of their seats the entire game.
Were you able to see the game on TV? It was absolutely electric inside the Saddledome.
The Bandits are a tough team, and definitely deserve a lot of the credit for making the game so exciting. It could have gone either way in the final minutes, with Buffalo coming within a goal of tying.
But, it was great for a new franchise (well, 3 yrs old anyway) to host the final. There has been talk of hosting the All-Star game. Been a great year for the Riggers and I think the fan base of the game will definitely increase after last nights win!!!
GO ROUGHNECKS!!!! GO FLAMES!!!!

A friend taped the game so I'll be watching it on Monday knowing the outcome. Tomorrow I'm going to see the College MAC Lacrosee Championship here in Buffalo.
The Bandits are one of the tough teams in the league, and I would like to see Calgary next year here in Buffalo for a regular season game or Championship again.
I wish the fan base here would be back up to 18,000... but this is Buffalo and minor league teams get the backseat these days and well with Rochester and even Toronto we lost some of that fan base with those teams in the league.
Anyway, it was a great season and I have a full poster of autographs now framed and matted of the Bandits.

GO BANDITS! (yes! either...) GO FLAMES OR SHARKS! GO LIGHTNING!
