The National Lacrosse League is a sport to watch, the league has been through several changes over the years. If you want to watch a fast pace game, this is your sport.
The Buffalo Bandits are the home town team here, and they remain a top team in the league.
If you have a team in your area, check them out you'll enjoy a sport that does not get the respect that it deserves.

I am a proud fan of the Calgary Roughnecks, who are currently second in the West. I remember the first time I saw a game on Sportsnet three years ago...couldn't believe the velocity the ball was thrown around at, the passes and just the general athleticisim of the players.

LaX is a great sport, it simply does not get it's 'just desserts' and is largely ignored, like hockey.

The only time I find that hockey gets any media coverage is when something like the Bertuzzi incident happens. Same with lacrosse. Never really hear about the charitable work that players contribute to during their time in a particular city.
My two cents...
On another note, does anyone know if any of the other teams have cheerleaders at the games? We have, ahem, The Drill Crew.

I just saw the Buffalo Bandits lose yes their 10th game in Rochester, damn it sucked. We did have a good time up in Rochester though, the Knighthawk fans we talked with welcomed us with open arms. The Bandits have the BANDETTES and I now know the name of the Rochester dance team, the Knightingales.

Just got back from the game...'Necks lost 11-8. Good game, the goalies made some spectacular saves. Well, Colorado is leading the league.
Are any of the games televised in your neck of the woods?

Well this has to be the first time that I'm disgusted by how the Bandits played lastnight. They got a whooping like no other, in the end this has been a good season and we're headed to the plaoff's. The Bandits are still a great team, and my support is strong win or lose.
