Come on Tommy, there's no reason to put the guy down. I can seperate what was said in the thread, but maybe the guy is concerned about kids reading.
There's no reason to say that when he was only trying to look out for the best interests of the board.

1) It's MY Fed Promoter. 2) Trav may be right, but more likely this is someone who I have had a run-in with in the past (I mean, this is his first post?). 3) Welcome to the real world buddy. There is a whole helluva lot more to find offensive on the internet than the name of one of my sweet Supercards. |

In order: 1) Either here or (preferably) via private message to a mod. 2) There is no vulgar language used in that thread. There is some "masked" profanity, which is something we generally don't allow. However, Swarm only uses it in that thread, which is more or less his own, so we let that slide. 3) Yes, they are. Had he just gone ahead with the word he wanted to use there, it would automatically have been filtered and censored. But he knows this, and the option he chose, while not the most ideal ("F'n" might have been better), is still fine. |

Wow, looks like I went and did it. Didn't mean to get anyone angry. Really. Hope nobody thought that I was meaning to get anything censored. My whole intent was just to get the "lets just keep this tame" idea accross. I think what I typed seemed a little more pointed to others than what it sounds like to me. I was originally wanting to just find an email or a 'report this thread' type of link. Something that generally wouldn't have done anything other than simply get the idea across that maybe we should just be careful. I even looked all around the proboards' help boards to no avail before finally deciding on this as a last resort. I'm sure we'd all wonder if the guy behind the McDonald's counter went, "You want some f'n fries with that?" That much is real life. You see, it's not a bite against you, friend, just the action itself. I don't want my 8-year-old wandering in and seeing that if I'm checking out what's going on in other people's feds and such, and I am interested... I wouldn't even have read it if I wasn't interested in what's going on in your fed to begin with.  |

In all honesty I appologize if your son or daughter may have read that. It's just me being me. Everyone here knows me and expects such...but for someone new like yourself, I appologize. I guess at my age (with no kids) I sometimes don't think about what it can be like to try and raise a kid the right way and keep them from seeing things you (or I) may not want them to see. really, my fed is all in fun...I probably shouldn't have posted that in the champions thread. I am in agreement that these sorts of things should be filtered. Even masked... I think they need to be masked pretty well. Keep in mind that a lot of you were just little kids when you first played this game. A lot of us might be adults now but that doesn't mean that this game and this website is no longer required to be family friendly.
