Any chance we can have a thread where we could post stuff that is not related to our hobbies, but we want everyone one to know? A place where we can tell people "I got married", or "I my wife had a baby girl", or "I got an 'A" on my term paper", " or "I had to toss some kid in detention today"?

I realize this may become a complaint center, but perhaps if we set up rules for it, it could work?

Just a thought.

I created a board for ANNOUNCEMENTS on the "Completely off-topic" Board section.

Just flexing a little administration muscle, Chris. Hehehe!

Yeah I agree there should be a Board here for that. Let's hope Chris doesn't get too mad that I created a Board without asking him first. I hope I created it correctly and that I don't get in trouble for this!
