This looks like a kicka** movie, the cast is very solid and it looks very action packed! I'll be watching this flick once it is released next month, should be awesome!

Not sure if its a remake, but its set entirely in Boston, so if it is, its loose.
Just came back from this, and it was really good... definately a "on the end of your seat" kinda movie.
Definately not for the squeamish though... its R rating is well deserved.

I am going to see this movie tomorrow. I am a huge fan of Martin Scorsese and I own many of his movies such as Casino, Goodfellas, and Gangs of New York on DVD.

I saw The Departed tonight. The Departed is an awesome and entertaining thriller filled with lots of suspense. Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin, and the rest of the cast really did an outstanding job with their performances. I have already seen around 25 movies in 2006 but I don't think any of those was as good as The Departed.

i check it out. was it in chinese.? Yes, Infernal Affairs is a classic Hong Kong film that went on to become a three-part series. The Departed should be good.
