Anyone going to check out this series. I loved the movies. Well, I thought the first 2 were great and the 3rd, eh...not bad. I'll at least give it a go.

I think this is going to be good! Apparently this is like a prequel to the movies from what I read anyways. When Blade is younger and first found by Whistler. Apparently the pilot was 2 Million to make and each episiode is a Million to make or something like that.

I'm gonna check it out after the Ultimate Fight Night on Spike. It looks alright from the previews, with the money thats been put into it with promotions and production it wont have a lot of time to mess around with getting results.

It looks really low budget to me...and Sticky Fingaz doesn't look like he cold hold Snipes jock strap. I might give it a shot, but we'll see.

Show was really good! I will be watching the television on Wednesday Nights again. Very cool and Sticky Fingaz as Blade is awesome and he has done a great job in portraying the character that Snipes laid the foundation for in the movies. This show rocks which means it won't last long before we get some lame reality show to take its place.

I actually liked it alot too. I was happily surprised at how well done it was. It continues where Blade Trinity left off but gives us a good view of the future. This could do really well. I hope I don't get really into it and then it gets cancelled like Invasion did. That kinda thing makes me want to give up tv.

I thought it was okay. Definitely not great...and very slow moving for the two hours, IMHO.
But I'll probably watch the second episode.

I think it's one of those things that two hours is long for a TV show. But it was being used to build up characters and the main storyline of the program. So I can deal with that.
If you want slow, watch Man-Thing! Ughh

I actually quit watching it, so I never even got to see Man Thing. About the only Marvel series as slow as Man Thing was the wretched Elektra

Two hours doesn't have to be too long for a TV show...especially one that's trying to set up backstory. It just has to be paced well, and this wasn't, IMHO.

I've seen plenty of pilots that weren't two hours, and several that were.
Blade should have only been an hour, because it felt like they were just trying to find things to kill time with (like the sniper's incessant conversation with the head vamp...if you hate him so much, just take the freaking shot).

Yeah, gotta agree with that part. I would have just blasted him and got it over with. Hell, there wouldn't be a body to pin anything on, since he'd turn to dust, so who would get charged with murder anyways. Yeah, I think about it, one hour could have been enough. But i'll tune in again.

I'm watching the next episode, mostly because it's summer and it won't conflict with anything else, but if I have as much trouble getting a DVR timer to synch up with this one because of UFC, I won't care.

I had an email sent to me from a friend about the show and there were reports that if Jill Wagner (krista) doesn't improve on her martial arts skills for the movie that she will be fired by the end of the 11 episode series. So if this series continues and she doesn't start looking like a fighter I guess we will see Blade killing her character off? This show is filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
