Speaking of Superman...... Warner Home Video has announced a number of brand new Superman releases - all of which star the legendary Christopher Reeve. Available from November 28th will be a four-disc release of Superman: The Movie (which includes both the 1978 and 2001 extended editions along with Donner commentary and archival footage of additional scenes and screen tests), Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut which includes the film as it was originally conceived and intended to be filmed (includes a new never-before-seen beginning, a never-before-seen resolution with 15 minutes of restored footage, and more), and deluxe editions of both Superman III and IV. Also available from the 28th November will be a Christopher Reeve Superman Collection which includes all of the above, apart from the Donner Cut of Superman II. This will retail at $79.92. This is pretty sweet although I think I will purchase them seperately. I knew there was a reason I waited until after the new Superman movie came out to get the originals!  |
