How dare we force horses to run. I shouldn't force my dog to eat or go outside to poop anymore either. I am glad that she opened my eyes to the plight of these poor defenseless animals.

I find horse racing to be fairly idiotic...just above auto racing on the "it's not a sport" scale....but it's nothing to do with animal cruelty.
I respect her for speaking her mind. If that's how she feels it's cool for her to talk about it and use her access to the media to get her point across. I feel it's moronic (and the article made me want some KFC wicked bad) but to each their own.

Yeah, to be honest I think horse racing is boring as hell. In my younger days, you could pay $20 to get into the infield and it was a big party. Girls getting naked and stuff.
But they knew it was a money maker and charge out the wha-zoo to get in there now. Plus I'm grown now and am not into that. (Not that I'm gay or anything...lol)
And KFC always sounds good!
But it's one of those things I do see her point. I wish it was a little more humane how they do it. Kinda like why we don't go to the circus any longer.

Are there any Jim Gaffigan fans out there. He has a joke where the animal rights person says to him "Don't you know what they do to those chickens?" He responds with "No, but it tastes delicious!"
Then the animal rights person says "I haven't had meat in 3 years" Jim says "So, I haven't had a banana in a month but you don't hear me bragging"
