While sitting in front of my computer waiting for a call, I decided to "surf" the Wikipedia website for various things.
After reading everything there was to know about George Romero and the Living Dead movie series, I decided to read up on Batman Begins.
Aside from giving a complete synopsis of the plot, cast info and tidbits about the sequel, Wikipedia includes quite a bit of info on the long road between Schumacher's horrible "Batman & Robin" and "Batman Begins"
The thing I found most interesting was that none other than Bret "the Hitman" Hart was once considered to play the role of Batman in a late-nineties movie that would return the dark knight to his dark and violently physical roots. Further research revealde that Hart was pretty much a lock for the role, but Warner Brothers' eventual rejection of the film and the directors ended Hart's alternate road to stardom before he could get on it.
As a self-professed Batman and Bret hart mega-fan, i have to admit that I had no clue of this bit of trivia. Who says Wikipedia is boring?

Bret Hart's my favorite wrestler ever.
Batman's my favorite comic book character.
I had no idea about this.

Reading the Wikipedia entry on Hart...
it says he was the first inductee to the WCW 'Wall of Fame'...
Anyone have any more of this story?
Thanks
Graymar
