Just wanted to hear any thoughts on the recent debacle that took place at Ozzfest in Califiornia on Friday.
I feel that while Bruce is a pretty arrogant guy, and what he said offended many American Maiden fans, and yeah, ragging on the guy whose tour you're on is probably not the best thing to do, the actions by Sharon and crew were totally infantile and ridiculous. It is an insult to an fan who paid hard earned money to see the show. It is unprofessionalism at its finest. I was so shocked and disappointed by what occurred, and by someone who has made some headway in the music business.
In response to the apparent sabotage of their set, a very aptly frustrated/ ticked Maiden acted very professional, both to snub Sharon and to play for their fans. Despite what was said by Bruce, it will be essentailly washed away in light of the childish antics.
Sharon thinks that the world of rock revolves around Ozzy. She will hopefully now realize that it revolves around the fans, because the crowd's response definitely showed whom they supported.

Maiden fan here. Maiden just get it done, their imagery, their music they paint the picture of the Maiden-verse.
Yes Bruce was a little out of line but Sharon's reaction to it was definitely infantile and just the reaction that everyone should come to expect from Sharon, I mean her children take after her. I feel for Ozzy I mean really he seems to be the poor guy who seems to be the most down to earth. It is his wife and kids that seem more out of control.
