Anyone else as stoked about this movie as I am? I loved "House.." and I hear this one is better. I'm a horror movie buff so this is probably why I'm so excited.

Most definitely looking forward to this one. Land of the Dead only played for a week here, so this is my long awaited movie of the summer. Star Wars, what?

The return of Captain Spaulding! I'm a huge Rob Zombie fan both in his music and now his movies, House was awesome! I love Sheri Moon Zombie, she's hot and that laugh of hers is sweet. I have to say that Devil's Rejects will be my number #1 film of the summer.

How necessary is it to have seen the first one? I'll probably see Devil's Rejects, but have not seen "House".

Devil's Rejects, from what I understand, is only a sequel in the fact that the characters are the same from the original movie. But from what I've read, this movie is completely different in presentation and story. I, for one, can't wait to see it. It's actually getting some decent reviews whereas the original movie was blasted by the mainstream critics.

I rented the House of 1000 Corpses DVD and turned it on (it was on the main screen), and while I was grabbing a bite to eat, I heard this voice saying, well, I can't repeat it hear.
But it was good old Captain telling me to start the (*^*%*^* you (*^*^ idiot. I actually got a chuckle out of it. It was a nice addition to the DVD.
Also, Sheri Moon is a goddess. She's on my top 10 list of "if your married, but could have someone famous..."

Sherri Moon's acting is tremendous in House...and I understand it's just as solid in Devil's Rejects. She is beautiful, but at the end of the movie, you are glad it's Rob Zombie taking her home and not you.

I went to see Devil's Rejects the other day and thought it was real tight. I liked it better than Corpses, which I thought was one of the best horror movies released in years. The acting in Rejects is very good, especially when compared to other horror films released in the past few years.

Saw it today and I was very impressed. I think I liked it more than House of 1000 Corpses! And Rob did a great job with the music during the movie. Best horror movie this year..not like there's been much competition. On a side note, did anyone catch the "Dinner For Five" on IFC that had Rob, Roger Corman, Faizon Love and Bruce Campbell? I caught the last half of it and it was pretty good.

I caught this movie on Sunday. I loved it! This movie is nothing like HOTC, except for having the same characters in it. HOTC, IMO, was more of your campy 1970s/80s-style horror flick complete with the Halloween/TCM-themes and the cartoonish Dr. Satan. This movie, however, was a gritty movie featuring crazy rednecks and a deranged cop. I absolutely loved it. The movie reminded me of Easy Rider (gone bad) in the fact that most of the killing scenes are played out to some really solid southern Rock. I'll never be able to listen to Free Bird the same again.
Sid Haig, Bill Mosley, and the ever-so-beautiful Sherri Moon Zombie, were outstanding. Even DDP was solid. Leslie Easterbrook as Mother Firefly was a shocker and she played the part well. This is a good movie but I wouldn't take the children.

Here is the #1 movie of the Summer of Zombie, Devils Rejects was by far the top movie I've seen this summer. I want to first say that the music selection was great, Midnight Rider... Free Bird and the many other tracks really kicked a$$! Sid Haig, Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley really took it to another level in this flick. I was suprised to see DDP's name on the screen, he played a bad mother biker/killer guy. William Forsythe is one of my favorite actors, he played a kick a$$ sheriff. The one actor I was happy to see was Geofrey Lewis, he's been around for a long time... he played Roy Sullivan, Lewis was in the 1970's Salem's Lot... he was the graveyard keeper. The whole movie rocked, Zombie made a down and dirty movie... he hit the nail on the head with this one.
