Any plans to go see this? I MIGHT end up renting it when it comes out. Walking Tall and no Buford Pusser?

I'll probably wait until video, I've been trying to find the originals (never heard of them until my boss at work started telling me). I found a place that rents part 2 and 3 but not part 1. I don't want to see 2 and 3 before I see 1 to get the whole story. From what I hear it's a pretty good story.

Yes it's a great story. I can't remember a great deal about part 3. I don't think that it stays in line with the real story 100%. But 1 & 2 do from what I can remember. It's been years since I've seen any of them.
Actually, Buford Pusser was supposed to play himself in part 2. Unfortunately, he was killed in a car wreck before it could be made.

The first part was bad ass, man. real good guy movie. The second part kind of did not make that much sense, and the third is supposed to not be that good.
But get the first part. The Rock should do well in the role.

Well, my wife and I are really looking forward to seeing this on our vacation in california this week. We JUST saw the Rundown last night (borrowed it from a friend) and we loved it! I thought it was good, and Chris Walkin was great (as he always is) in his quirky way.

I saw Rundown and loved it. I think I'll probably wait for Walking Tall to come out on video, but who knows what my fiancee has planned.
