www.MMArmy.com╔══╦══╦══╗ ║║║║║║║╔╗╠═╦══╦╗╔╗ ║║║║║║║╚╝║╔╣║║║╚╝║╔═╦═╦══╗ Recruit Fighters! ║║║║║║║╔╗║║║║║╠╗╔╬╣╠╣║║║║║ Fight Friends! ╚╩╩╩╩╩╩╝╚╩╝╚╩╩╝╚╝╚╩═╩═╩╩╩╝ BE THE CHAMP! I just found this yesterday and I figure this could inspire some POW leagues and mayhaps some online fueds. Welcome to the world of the modern day warrior. Mixed Martial Arts has risen to fill the need to answer the simple question: “In a fair fight, who will dominate the other?”
MMArmy is here to bring that competition to the internet. You are the coach of a camp of fighters; you are the general, the final strategist. And here we will answer the simple question: “Given the same resources which strategist will lead his fighters to dominate those of his opponent?”
This is NOT an MMA fantasy league. That concept has been done, and done well by other people. What we are bringing to you is something different. A chance to train and coach your own team of unique fighters, and pit them against other live players fighters.
If you have any questions or what not, please let me know. I'm glad to answer anything you'd like to know about the game...

I have Dojo Eliath there. My team is currently 2-5 as I search for the right styles for the different fighters. Its interesting so far, but not quite addictive yet.

I've got a fighter in one of the big two right now as well and of course a handful of bums. The game's server is going to go through a major change soon.

So how is everybody doing after the rollback this morning?
Team Maple Leaf was at 21-23 yesterday and just starting to pull ahead. Today they're 11-20 because there was no notification of a change and the reduction in skills resulted in all my characters losing thier matches. Plus I lost one of my recruits.

Being poor in MMArmy is no fun Neither is having most of the work you put into upgrading your facilities erased. That's what really pissed me off about the rollback, learning that I'd have to reupgrade all the stuff I upgraded before. At least I managed to close the gap a bit between my wins and my losses.

Sorry to be a thread downer. Hope everybody's managed to maintain thier momentum after the rollback. Wish you all the best of luck.

my team has gone 3-1 since the roll back today. The one good thing is my newest recruit got rolled back to 2-0 then won his third fight tonight so he is still undefeated. The team really sucks though at the moment with a 15-23 record, just really looking to improve facilities which I need to redo thanks to the rollback.

I only had two improved facilities after the rollback. On the upside (well the upside for you anyway, for me not so much) at least the rollback didn't erase a winning streak for one of your fighters.

My obsession has now caused me to setup a rival team on a seperate account. The 2 match per day limit is a bummer... My new team from Japan is looking mighty fine though: www.mmarmy.com/camp_display.php?id=6559Rough first round of fights, but should be ok.

Well I've managed to get Team Maple Leaf up to thier previous record before the rollback. Granted 21-23 isn't the best record, but considering things looked much worse just after the rollback happened I'm ok with it.
On the upside I've created a British team called The Lions of Britain and they're currently 5-1. ;D

I've given up this game untill the programmers can make it less random. The stats clearly don't matter and I'm quite frankly tired of seeing my fighters lose because what ever program used to decide the fights decided my fighter should suck hard in a given fight.

so is it the fighters or the strategy behind them that matters most?

so is it the fighters or the strategy behind them that matters most? It seems more or less completely random to me. Sometimes picking an opponent my fight matched up well against worked, and sometimes he ended up getting beaten anyway. Sometimes stats seem to matter, sometimes they don't. It's quite frusterating.

Actually, styles make fights and your stats make your style work. The game's forum is full of great advise.
