Splattercat didn't want to highjack my Settlers thread but I would really like to hear about the game he wanted to buy as well as any other good games out there.
I would especially like to know if there is a good super hero type game that doesn't involve spending loads of money to collect all the characters and all that stuff. I used to love the Overpower card game but it costs so much to get into a game like that and I know none of my friends would be willing to spend that much.
Also there is another game out there that is quite fun and inexpensive. I don't have it but a friend does and I will probably get it sooner or later. It is called Bang! It is a cowboy card game. Lots of fun.
What else is out there?

Heya Pike...I'll get back to you on that a little later...Like, about Runebound and such...I had a long night (I was on my feet for 12 hours), and I need rest...Just didn't want to keep you waiting... One really great resource on games though, is Fantasy Flight Games' website...Can't go wrong with Fantasy Flight, and you'll find Runebound on there as well...Our current playing is Descent: Journeys into the Dark...AWESOME game... Anyway, check that out and I'll get back on here when I'm better rested...

The Marvel Heroes game from Fantasy Flight Games looks pretty cool. Anyone know what it will be like?

Diplomacy is the greatest board game ever. If you haven't gotten together and backstabbed six of your friends, then you haven't really lived. But if you're looking for something with a few more bells and whistles, I agree that just about anything from Fantasy Flight Games is a good time waiting to happen. I prefer Twilight Imperium to Descent and Runebound, but they're all good. And if you can find a copy of Junta on e-bay, get it. You’ll thank me later.

We have Twilight, Descent, Arkham Horror and Junta...All terrific games...All great ways to spend an evening... Junta is awesome...I remember once I had SO much money that the other three players made a total of 5 assassination attempts on me...I was at the sixth location... ;D

I want to throw in some love for Fantasy Flight Games, too. I have both of the War of the Ring games, and they're great games made to the highest quality. They make great stuff.

I am looking at Fantasy Flight's site and the only one that looks really appealing to me is the Marvel Heroes one. The others look like they could be fun but it is so hard to tell without really knowing what the gameplay will be like. Frenzy! also looks like it could be fun and for that price I would pick it up when/if I order the Marvel game. Tell me about some of their other games so I can get an idea how they play. Also I finally got a chance to play Zombies this weekend (when I should have been doing homework) and I thought it was alot of fun. I lost (of course) but still had fun and it was fairly close. My only complaint was that we didn't even come close to getting to the helipad before we were both nearing 25 kills. Maybe it was because we only had 2 people playing but maybe not. I also just found out that Bang! has 2 expansions out and I think I will go buy the whole Bang! kit and kaboodle soon because I have had so much fun playing it with the couple that owns it. Lets keep the gaming love flowing.

We own Zombies and all of it's expansions...It is a terrific game...Bang! is also really fun...A quick card game that's really easy to learn and endless fun to play...Not sure I knew about the second expansion though....Must look into...

I have to say that The Marvel Heroscape has me very intrigued. Unfortunately there is no info on it at the Milton Bradley site.

Turkish, have you checked out Fantasy Flight's Marvel Heroes game. It should be coming out soon and it sounds pretty interesting.

I have actually, and given the fact that I will rarely, if ever, play either game, I am more interetsted in what appears to be a game with simplier mechanics.
I am very interested in reviews of the Fantasy Flight game.

A lot of these are pretty mediocre and all of them are out of print. I'd probably say that "Frenzy: the Complete Collection", "Thunder's Edge", and "Senator" are the best of them. Though for RPG players, “Blue Planet” is a pretty tight little game, and well worth the $30 bucks it would cost to get damn near everything they published for it.
