My new game...Maximum Impact - The Game Of Mortal Streetfighting will officially be released January 16, 2006. If you want the action of fighting video games such as Tekken, King Of Fighters and Mortal Kombat in a dice format this is the game for you! The game comes with a 16 page rulebook, 4 page character guide, 24 fighters, 2 dice, 6 location charts, a damage chart, a hexagon of hell chart, injury charts, character creation guidelines and an example of play!! The game is easy to learn and fun to play! It also comes in a reusable ziplock baggy for easy storage and has full online support at our yahoo group. Well the special abilities/powers are planned in for my SECOND expansion called Tooth And Nail. I don't really have a release time figured for any expansions yet, but I wouldn't mind having them done by the end of the year for sure. I just don't want to try to rush them out. Fists Of Fury will cover some optional rules, character advancement, basic weapons information, an underground campaign and 12 new locations. OH yes, there will be fighters -- 16 of them!!

Game mechanics are not very similar. The ease of play is very similar. The game is initiative based, one player attacks, his opponent defends. The next guy attacks and the first guy defends. Battles continue to go back and fourth for the entire round. There are a total of four rounds per fight unless a KO happens first, which is usually the case. It is possible to win on the very first move but highly unlikely. Some fighters deal more damage, others can take more damage and then the speedy ones have improved defenses to help them get by. Battles can take place in different locations if you choose as well. To see a couple of sample cards for the game, come check out our yahoo group at the address posted at the top of the topic. After some practice the game plays rather quickly. I can easily get an 8 fight card done in less than an hour easily.
