I'm happy and AMAZED to tell you that this game is easily as good as Madden, and because of the story mode, it may be better.
For the doubters, gamespot.com and a few other sites are saying the exact same thing.
Give the new Blitz a try. You'll be surprised for sure!!

I didnt like "The Leauge", I thought it was to over the top.
I too am a fan of Madden and will be geting Madden 06 next gen when i get my XBox 360 next month.

I'm a diehard football fan who's never purchased Blitz (in any form) before today. I'm sold on the depth of the campaign mode, and I like the gameplay (which is fun, but after several hours of play pales in comparison to Madden's on-field action).
I think taking the realistic approach to life between games is awesome, and I think the gameplay warrants the $40.00 pricetag. Overall, I'd still pick Madden over this (again, I've now had about three or four hours of play), but this ain't a bad title to add to the collection.

Thanks for the review...I checked out the web site and thought it maybe a good game ... I was wondering about the playablite in comparing to Madden. The fantasy ascpect don't bother me because with Madden I made my own teams and players anyway...The only stickler for me would be the price...it's not just the game the memory cards are needed too!!

I am frustrated with the new Maddan. .. having only played it 6 times and losing 4 of those to my son (who plays it constantly)!
