FROM LORDS OF PAIN
TNA released former Tag Team champions The Naturals, Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas earlier today. While the reason for their release is still unknown, their profiles remain on the official TNA website. The Naturals haven’t been pushed in TNA since the days when they were managed by Shane Douglas

Man you know you suck bad when TNA releases you. That's like PBS saying they won't air your show because no one will watch it.

Too bad for them...but TNA wasn't interested..then again...TNA seems to be caring less and less about tag wrestling.

Based on the logic you've used in the past, TNA can't seem to get out of their own way. Maybe we should look at this in reverse. If TNA released the Naturals, then they (The Naturals) must have been doing something RIGHT. Your next WWE Tag Team Champions.... The Naturals!!!!!

I was never big on the Naturals. The only time I ever really cared about them was when Shane Douglass was in their corner.
I don't think it's that TNA cares less about Tag-team wrestling, I think it's more along the lines of tag-team wrestling isn't doing much for wrestling these days. I enjoyed watching 2 of TNA's top stars, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, hold the Tag-team belts, than the current title holders (nothing against team 3-D, just that Daniels and Styles did much more for the tag-team division than anyone else has done since I have been watching TNA)

The Naturals had a nice run in the early days of TNA before they were moved aside by more talented and dynamic performers such as LAX, AMW, and Styles & Daniels. Sadly, they have also been moved aside by washed-up retreads Team 3-D and VKM. In the end, I think this is another case of TNA shooting themselves in the foot.
Stevens and Douglas probably won't land in OVW. They're not THAT talented, and they are still recognizable as TNA products. (Unless, of course, Vince wants to repackage them as R2D2 and C-3PO.) My guess is, it's off to the Indy circuit, where they should be able to have some success on name recognition.
