We do but DH jocking a crappy fed that everyone knows sucks and acting like it's God's gift to wrestling fans and being excited about a super cool WWE heel who is super over right now winning a belt are two totally different things dude.

They are opinions...That's all...Only one of them is being Lampooned and the other isn't...The fact that nobody agrees with either one 100% is hardly worth mentioning...
All I'm saying is, two people going off the deep end about two things they like are in fact the same thing, no matter how many people may or may not share the same enthusiasm...

I think you need to read Joe's post again. Maybe put it on your fridge for the day or something.

Wow tI went to this thread to see what people were saying about last night, and I get a thread dedicated to pretty much making fun of someone. I think we need a section in off-topic called "Parody Someones Posts" then I don't have to waste my time.

Yeah I watched it while on the phone w Payback and we ragged on it. They kind of are doing a MITB match w the X title which I thought was dumb.
Bad show. Very little in terms of actual matches and the skits sucked and weren't funny. They just continue to push the wrong guys.
bad show. negative ***** stars imo.

Kevin Nash should never be allowed to be on TV again.
He thinks he's the funniest thing and he couldn't be more boring and stupid.
Dude, you have grey hair and a grey beard and you haven't even been in the arena where they have the matches for 3 months. Why do they bother with this jackoff?
Oh wait, I know....Vince Russo.

Yeah I haven't enjoyed the shows near as much as I used to since Russo took back over as writer. Especially the TV shows. I mean c'mon a contract signing for Steiner and Angle?? I used to love Scott Steiner but the guy can hardly move anymore. And doing the whole Angle/Joe headbutt to try and make this match more interesting? Oh well I like thr PPV's usually but right now I prefer Smackdown to all the wrestling out there. Rahl

Whoa. Hold on a second. I wasn't making fun of Dennis by my post. Although I will aknowledge the fact that it did sound similar to a lot of what he posts and could see how someone might think I was parodying him. I meant no harm by the post.
I was just..I dunno, being a smartass. You know. being ridiculous.
Anyway, as far as last nights show is concerned, it was decent.
The Belting Pot match to open the show was entertaining enough. You don't get to see a lot of lumberjack matches anymore, and it was actually cool to see one on TV. I could do without the gimmicky name though. But a good opening bout none the less.
I pretty much don't get the purpose of the Paparazzi cam segments anymore. Although I will admit Jay Lethal's Macho man impression was pretty good. I think they need to dump these segments, unless of course they are actually going to do something with them.
Then came the 6-man tag match that ended in a squash. I hate that stuff. I know they are trying to get everyone onto TV every week, but c'mon, that match was, for the most part, a waste of my time.
I actually like the idea of the Sting/Abyss match at Destination X, with the loser being raised into the rafters as if ascending into heaven. Interesting approach to the old coffin/buried alive match.
The main event was alright. I expected maybe a few more ladder spots, especially in a match involving all those X Division guys. Good to see Jerry Lynn win though. But I must admit, he is looking pretty old these days. a Far cry from the days in ECW.
Overall, I didn't love it or hate it, and it did nothing to stop me from watching further episodes. I'll tune in again.

ONe of the things I did like about the show was Backlund putting the crossface chicken-wing on Austin Starr. Star just doesn't do it for me. I thought they were going to do something good with him after his allience with the Paparazzi. Backlund being on TV finally "snapping" like he did was pretty cool.
I have to say that Kevin Nash is starting to grow on me again. He can be pretty funny on TV. Even if you don't like him, if you're going to have him on TV, keep him as far away from the ring as possible. He just doesn't cut it in the ring anymore, but he's pretty funny on the paparazzi tv.

I agree that Nash can be funny at times. I just think the whole Paparazzi cam thing is getting a bit old. And since it's not being used to further angles or anything, it just seems out of place.
Nash has a good delivery and sounds completely serious when he says ridiculous stuff. Which is why its funny.
Just keep Nash away from the ring and the booking team, and he's a good on air talent.
