I am sorry for bashing anything TNA or the WWE does. After watching WSX...I feel that TNA in comparison is the greatest promotion on Earth and in comparison the WWE ist he greatest force in the Universe. As an idiot who bought a couple of XPW vids, when I saw Kris Kloss I wanted to vomit. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 1...all do to Zakk Wylde doing commentary. If it comes on again. RUN!!!!! do not watch it.

He's terrible. Worse than Art Donovan. But I like Don West, you've got to remember that. As far as I've got it figured, Zakk Wylde on commentary would be worth the price of admission alone.

If the price of admission was a naked trip down a slide made of razor blades into a pool of rubbing alchohol...I guess...

Yeah, I thought this fed had potential but after seeing someone get piledrived (sp?) into an exploding wooden coffin, I just had to laugh.
Although it might be more entertaining than TNA.

Because the exploding coffin is ridiculous, but a regular coffin is genius???

Because the exploding coffin is ridiculous, but a regular coffin is genius??? no more ridiculous than say a nightmare matrix match or a zero gravity platform match. ;D

Because the exploding coffin is ridiculous, but a regular coffin is genius??? Yes. A coffin does the job. You put the guy in and close it, end of match. Why would something wooden explode anyway? Putting someone in a coffin is using the "prop" for its natural purpose. And if the coffin is going to explode, why would you piledrive someone on it? Just doesn't make sense. You have to at least concede that.

All I know is that I've never seen a coffin explode. That's about the dumbest prop I have ever seen. I mean, I get it, it's garbage wrestling, but does everything have to explode? Lame.

I wouldn't call it a garbage fed persay. What WSX does is better described as SoCal Faux Hardcore. In a true garbage fed the explosions are real and the electrified fences are real, in the WSX they are obviously fake. No one is actually taking a *real* bump onto the exploding porps.
Vampiro piledriving Xpac into an exploding coffin is no more ridiculous than the Big Bossman being hanged IMO.
It is ridiuclous though. But more hardcore than what WWECW is doing, and they have the word extreme in their name!

I for one enjoy it enough to stick around. I appreciate what they are trying to do. I could do without all the explosions though. But there is a big difference between it being real and everything being props. I wanna actually believe a guy took a bump onto an electrified fence. WSX, has thrown all believablility out the window. In my eyes, there is a big difference between something being faux hardcore and something being legit hardcore. Anyway. I was just trying to think of a name for the style they do, and since it's obviously all faked, I thought SoCal Faux Hardcore sounded good. Wouldn't you agree?

There are those who think WWE and anything Vince does is the be-all-end-all in wrestling, and they will hate everything that is not WWE.
And there are those who think Vince McMahon is the Antichrist and anything that isn't WWE is good.
Of course there are those (which I'd include myself in) who like wrestling, flaws and all, and will watch anything unless it's God-awful. But I would venture a guess that people like Swarm will hate anything that is not a McMahon enterprise, and people on the other side too -- and makes these arguments kind of circular.

I used to be a big WWE mark, but my opinions began to change around 2000, and I have since come to think of VKM as the antichrist. I dislike almost everything the WWE does, I was down with WWECW at first and I gave it a serious shot. But it has just went downhill so fast that it's embarassing. As for TNA..i was also a big mark, but their product has continued to get worse to the point where when I see people defending the crap out of it I cringe. The wrestling on TV these days for the most part lacks true quality. Thats not to say everything is bad..but the vast majority is not good. I refuse to like what VKM tells me I should like. I like what I like. and I'd like to like WWE..but I can't..nothing they do interests me in the slightest. Ditto for TNA. russo is screwing everything up and trying to turn TNA into WWE which is the worst thing possible. Especially for those fans who watch because they hate WWE. WSX is making an attempt at doing something different. And they are succeeding for the most part. it is different. something that fans have't seen on TV before. but the TNA/WWE marks will bash it for whatever reason. WSX has some amazing talent on their roster. Especially team Dragon gate. they impressed the hell out of me and I wouldn't be surprised to see a company like ROH take a serious look at them and possibly sign them up to work a few programs for them.

I don't think everything Vince does is evil or evil-motivated, but I certainly agree that just because he does something, it doesn't make it automatically good. I think his Rosie-Donald and Bush skits proved that. Sometimes, he does flat-out garbage things. I didn't watch wrestling at all until about a year ago. The age of DVR really opened the door for me. If I had to expend 2 actual hours on Monday, I wouldn't watch Raw because at least half of it isn't worth it at all. I loved TNA up until the last few weeks, and now I'm mixed about it, though it's still overall entertaining. I'd say some TNAs are better than some RAWs though. Smackdown's about the only program I consistently enjoy, even with bonehead Batista on top. I hope Wrestling Society X succeeds...it's got some dorky elements, bigtime....but they appear to, pyrotechnics and all, seem to be pushing talent and actual in-ring ability. That's a-ok in my book. I used to be a big WWE mark, but my opinions began to change around 2000, and I have since come to think of VKM as the antichrist. I'm not sure that there is any conceivable wrestling fed that could possibly be created that you would have a good thing to say about. I don't disagree with you about exploding coffins being stupid, but how's that any crazier than having someone buried alive, or someone hanged, or even a 'conchairto' (or however you spell it). Or a 50-something owner of a wrestling fed and his goofball son being able to actually wrestle full-time wrestlers. There are those who think WWE and anything Vince does is the be-all-end-all in wrestling, and they will hate everything that is not WWE. And there are those who think Vince McMahon is the Antichrist and anything that isn't WWE is good.
