And lets not forget that there is a new X division champ too...

And lets not forget that there is a new X division champ too... That's not a bad move, and Senshi or whatever his name is is pretty good. But since he pinned Dutt, it means very little. If they don't want Joe to put anyone over by pin or submission, then don't keep putting that damn belt on him.

I agree that its not a bad move. Not sure he should have won the title a second time anyway. Senshi/Loki is good, and its good to see the title defended in regular cruiserweight style matches again for a bit...until Nash wins the belt. ;D

At this point, it seems like Samoa Joe is only staying in the X Division to keep him away from the top-of-the-card guys. When he first started in the X, he was feuding with Daniels and Styles, which made sense, but now, not so much.

not reading the Spoiler yet...But Re: Joe, I sense a Triple Threat situation (please tell me I'm not wrong) wherein joe remains undefeated.... Re: Jarrett, Joe no longer X-Division..? Jarrett the most hated man in wrestling..? I'm sensing Joe's next victim... (But I didn't read the spoiler so this is all just conjecture...) EDIT: (Sorry, just read between the lines on the triple threat thing...Thanks Dead Ringer... )

Dumb move. They had the belt off of Joe without messing with the streak months ago. At this point - Senshi should be X champ and Joe should be with the upper tier guys. How do you get there? Joe either drops the belt on his own or loses in a Triple threat match.

Wait..so Jarrett was "punished" by being handed the title and then having to defend it against the winner of Joe vs Chrisitan vs Sting vs Steiner in a Cage; who will be 'exhausted." First, this makes no sense. Secondly, they JUST DID THIS with Rhino winning the belt at Bound For Glory.
WTF?

would it really be, rhino was in a monster's ball match wth sabu, jeff hardy, and abyss before winning a ten man gauntlet, then beat Jarrett, this is a fatal fourway, which will hopefully start the show, then a match with Jarrett, not near what Rhino went through, as a side, I believe that taking X divsion title from Joe is a sign that he will kill Jarrett and become the NWA champ.

I'm off to the tub... someone let me know when TNA stops acting like 1999 WCW!

I am disappointed with this turn of events. One can only hope that Joe wins the match to face Jarrett and destroys him to the point that he disappears from tv and is behind the scenes for a while. Man I still am in awe....the finish was actually WORSE than the Khali kick to the Undertaker!

I'm guessing that it has to be Christian Cage that wins the 4 way match and faces Jarrett. I would think that they would build up the first ever one-on-one meeting between Jarrett and Sting. Steiner and Joe will probably take each other out of the match and continue their feud. Which leaves the door open for Cage, who snaps after losing and turns heel (well that last part was a WAG...the rest I see happening).

Is this me, or does anyone get tired of TNA's number one contender, King of the Mountain, four man elemination matches, or whatever to see who gets a shot at the title.
How bout, building a guy up, then moving him up towards the top of the card, building some heat for his title shot and having him face of the champ one on one
Seems like there are tooooo many gimmick matches that aren't one on one in TNA Title matches.

I have to admit, after months of bashing on TNA for their inept ways of running a fed and taking tons of crap for it, it's very satisfying to see them crumble before us and others finally taking note of what a C-rate fed TNA really has molded it itself into. I've been tired of it for years.

I have to admit, after months of bashin on TNA your opinion means zilch. TNA does use too many gimmick matches though. And I am hoping that Jarrett is treated as a momentary champion. Joe will most likely be competing for that title soon but I am sure that Sting will be the next contender.

I was really hoping based on the promo from Impact that while Sting didn't want to win the title, by some fluke he did. Christian got P.O.ed about it, feeling Sting set him up just to win the title, and came back this week on Impact to cut the heel promo he is meant to do.
Have Christian beat Sting for the title at the next PPV. Start building up Joe as a super face and have a showdown between him and Christian in August.
