I have no idea who Slick Johnson is...but this pretty much sums up why this was a stupid call on TNA's part. I did like the suggestion that this might be the end of JJJ, Larry and Earl H and Cornette is gonna kick em out...but I think that's wishful thinking.

Mark "Slick" Johnson is a ref who was known for doing so in shorts and high black socks, he was in WCW near the end..though he did provide a highlight on the pre show, he came out in a comically large bow tie to which Brother Ray said he had heat with him just for wearing the tie...now as for the ppv i didn't mean to imply that as a whole it wasn't good, but the main event makes me not want to watch anymore...c'mon the fans don't want Jarrett there, most of the roster too i'd guess, so to have him go over to spite the fans is the most ridiculous concept since David Arquette world champion.

I always thought Vince McMahon winning the World Title was the most ridiculous concept since David Arquette's win**, but this has gotta be the lowest since that...I mean come on, everyone on Earth knows that nobody wants Jarrett to be champion again...Sure, they'll likely strip him of the belt (especially after he got bombarded with trash), but that won't change the fact that he ruined what would have been a terrific PPV from start to finish...
TNA really did drop the ball this time I'm afraid...As I said in another thread though, I'll be watching TNA on Thursday to see what kind of damage control they have planned...And honestly, that's not why I want to watch TNA....
**Which by the way, will always be the worst...I'll take Jack Black as Wor.....On second thought, not even going to go there.....

I always thought Vince McMahon winning the World Title was the most ridiculous concept since David Arquette's win** At least McMahon has muscle on his body. He was on the cover of that powerlifting magazine. Don't think you'll see Arquette doing that. And, oh yeah, Vince is a 3rd generation promoter who owned the company. David Arquette is a horrible actor with a hot wife. |
