I loved the 5/18 iMPACT!, it was there best show in 2006 so far. The tie-breaker match for the World X-Cup between Sabin and Williams was a solid match and then Nash thumps Sabin at the end! The sqaush match between Samoa Joe and Chase Stevens was good, but what really rocked was the face-off with Steiner then Andy Douglas and Shane Douglas show-up at the end, this angle has me interested to see whats next!? Abyss is the Monster and he's into the KotM Match against Christian Cage, this was a solid match between Abyss and Rhino. I did not forget the great start to last weeks iMPACT! I loved how they are building up for Slammiversary with that promo and the SLAMM will be awesome! Plus, it's on my birthday too! I know TNA is not at the level of the WWE, and in my view thats fine... TNA delivers a solid product that I enjoy and others that I know who enjoy the TNA Product, and this weeks iMPACT! will be a interesting one.

I think the difference being that TNA has the Professional Wrestling angle whereas the WWE is Sports Entertainment.
TNA is getting stronger in their direction but they still need some work but with only an hour it is tough to show everyone. I read that once Ultimate Fighter 3 is over that Spike is in talks about giving TNA a 9pm start time and giving them their second hour. Once and if this happens TNA will hopefully be given some more flexibility to spread its wings and really build up its angles and stars.

This weeks Impact was pretty solid. Nash did a great job of continuing his storyline and I like that they are psuhing the belt as something that everyone is fighting to attain.

I agree PH. It is about time they took the focus off Jarrett and put it back on what everyone is wanting to get their hands on and that being the World Title. Again they need alot of work to get things on the level but hopefully this is a step in the right direction.
Also it is nice to see Jarrett and Steiner and Sting putting over Joe which in actuality works the other way in that Joe is really helping to put the veterans over as guys who can still go.

That is a good point Pittbull. By the veterans getting in the ring and making Joe look good it is in turn proving that they still have IT. I am loving the staredowns between Joe and Jarrett and Joe and Steiner. Intense.
I am also liking the Nash storyline so far. He has been pretty dang funny in his interviews and assuming this goes where it supposedly is supposed to it will be a very interesting storyline to say the least. I hope that in the process he is able to teach Sabin some things about developing a character and mic work and things like that.
I have no problem with Jarrett being toward the top of TNA but I do think that the NWA title should be the main focus of the shows. Good step in the right direction.

I liked the TNA show as well. I liked the concept of the 8 Man tournament but I didn't like that the first match out was Abyss-Rhyno. We've seen this one before. It wasn't a bad match but they have a chance to present some interesting matchups here. I'm just waiting for Jarrett-Steiner. That could be fun. Lots of solid wrestling. Sabin-Williams was very good and I didn't mind that Kevin Nash came to the ring. I am interested in this. Hmm. Good WWE shows, and good TNA and the dawn of ECW. See what some "competition" can do for you.

Yeah the Abyss/Rhyno was a little well redundant. Would have been better to see Abyss take down Ron Killings. But from the sounds of things I don't think Rhyno will be around much longer. Looks like he has his eyes set on the ECW show and is apparently really ticked off over the "blink and its over" title reign. He is probably doing this last job to the Canadians (and rightly so! ;D) before leaving as a way out of his contract.
