Never heard about any of those (Jericho/Regal/Goldberg), but worth looking into...Jericho is indeed leaps and bounds above Goldberg in pretty much every relevent way... And Swarm, read your very first post... Joe suffers apparent injury at TNA tapings by Dave Meltzer dave@wrestlingobserver.com Details are sketchy, but Samoa Joe appeared to suffer a knee injury in a match taped for Xplosion after the TNA Impact tapings ended tonight in Orlando. Joe was throwing a kick to David Young when the knee appeared to go out. We don't know any more details other than he had to be helped out of the ring, and the first reports were from those who were scared it was serious. _________________________________________________ all I know is that Umaga made it through his match tonight on RAW without a scratch...I guess he is tougher than Joe too? This is why I originally thought you weren't serious about him being tougher than Joe, but the basis of your argument seems to be injured vs. Injury-free...Jarrett hasn't been injured in recent memory, and Kurt Angle and Batista both have/are... It doesn't matter, I'm not taking it seriously anyway...Umaga doesn't compare to Samoa Joe on any level, that's my opinion just as the opposite is yours...Pretty sure we're not going to change each others' minds...

In the ring...yes...out of the ring, maybe, but Goldberg did play football and is a big dude.

In the ring...yes...out of the ring, maybe, but Goldberg did play football and is a big dude. wasn't there a story where Jericho punked Goldberg out in WCW once? I know HHH did at a bar, but I thought Jericho did the same thing...Obviously Goldberg can't fight, he can't even throw a punch at an inanimate object without breaking his hand...so i can't imagine how awful he would be against a live, moving object...

yes, I believe Jericho choked him out with a front headlock while they were fighting backstage. I mean, from what I heard, Goldberg was OUT...
Here's another one for poops and giggles. Flyin' Brian Pillman challenges Sid Vicious to a fight in a bar. Sid Vicious runs away, only to come back in later with a SQUEEGEE in his hand. The whole bar proceeded to laugh and mock the "master and ruler of the world," as they well should have in that situation.
::sigh::

True...bigger is not always better, and I do recall hearing something about that backstage incident. I probably didn't take into account the fact that Jericho knows holds...or the fact that Goldberg is a p***y.

Joe might be hurt and torn his knee up but don't give him the credit of he is TNA because he isn't he is just a cog in the machine. Everyone of the the roostered members just has to step up ot cover for Joe while he is out. No one there is a TNA make it or break it guy. The fed is great because they all work together to make the show what it is and that is a great wrestling show and PPVmaker.Forget Warrior and goldberg that is a hype match that won't even be worth watching. Both are lousy wrestlers and neither should be allowed to wrestle anymore Ever! Thank you

addendum to the real fights between wrestlers. It sure looks like Booker T totally kicked the crap out of Batista a couple weeks ago, judging from photos of both of their faces. That's what it sounds like from these wrestling news sites as well.

That's what it sounds like from these wrestling news sites as well. Booker T is a tough dude. He grew up on the streets and has several run-ins with the law...the man is bad. Batista is not much more than a body-builder. and not much bigger than T if really at all. I'm not surprised Booker took him down. On a side note, you have to wonder...considering he is clearly a locker room favorite, was winning the crown an act of reward for putting Batista in his place? Cause it sure seemed like Lashley was the guy until that fight... now Lashley is back in a feud with Finlay while Booker is King... I'd buy it.

I doubt we'll hear the actual details of Booker/Batista until one of them is no longer with WWE...
personally, I was surprised that Booker got the win, but it works better this way...Booker is great on the mic, and King Booker will be obnoxious as hell, I'm sure...Lashley, I think isn't quite ready for a prolific role like King of the Ring...Once he gets more edgy, and a bit more mic experience he'll be awesome...Right now he's Brock Lesner sans Heyman...

I thought the Sid story was one of the best ever. Why I really appreciated his nickname..Ruler of Squirrels. As for Booker, I'm looking for him to get a new main event push, and it should be a fun ride. Perhaps it's time for him to be the Smackdown champ.

so an update on Goldberg. There are rumors that he's in negotiations to fight Tank Abbott in a MMA fight? That would be great watching him get killed, especially since we've already talked about how Goldberg got his butt beat by William Regal and Chris Jericho in the past. ----------------------------------- THE FOLLOWING IS AN ARTICLE FROM Goldberg vs. Tank Abbott In MMA Fight In The U.S.? By Matt Boone of MMANews.com X-2 Sports Extreme Wars, which is running an MMA show in Oakland on June 3, has been in negotiations with pro wrestling superstar and former NFL football player Bill Goldberg to make his mixed-martial arts debut. But not just against anybody, against fellow former WCW wrestler and original UFC bad boy David "Tank" Abbott. Goldberg, age 39 has always been a fan of the sport of MMA and has talked about doing a pro fight quite often when the subject is brought up. Right now the negotiations are just considered preliminary talk and the chances of the fight actually coming off are not very good. However, the talks continue and anything is possible. Meanwhile, Tank Abbott is confirmed to battle boxing's "king of the four rounders" Eric "Butterbean" Esch in a mixed-martial arts match in August. He's also scheduled for a card in England on July 1 against Amokrane Sabet. So "Tank" is staying busy in the pro fight game once again. His last bout was a submission loss in his PRIDE Fighting Championship debut against former Olympic gold medalist in Judo Hidehiko Yoshida.
