I copied the following from TNA's web site: STING’S IN-RING RETURN THIS THURSDAY ON “iMPACT!” –TO NAME HIS LOCKDOWN TEAM On “iMPACT!” the wrestling icon known as Sting announced that not only was he making his in-ring wrestling return this Thursday night at 11PM on the first primetime “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV – but that he would officially announce his team for Lockdown! Who will Sting pick to side with him inside the Six Sides of Steel against Jarrett’s Team on April 23 on Pay-Per-View? Who will Sting battle this Thursday night on SpikeTV? Am I missing something, but since when has 11:00 PM on Thursday become "primetime"? That would be classfied as "late night" by the TV folks. If the show ran from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm, then it would have been primetime. Sorry, wrong answer TNA. Jeff Jarrett seems to think that all wrestling fans are idiots. TNA is not ready for primetime...

If yoru a vampire it might be considered Prime Time? It isn't even primetime for vampires. For TNA to call 11:00 PM on Thursday PRIMETIME is an insult to their fans. It isn't primetime. 10:00 Pm would have been in PRIMETIME but Spike TV took that away from you, because they knew TNA ISN'T READY FOR PRIMETIME!

For TNA to call 11:00 PM on Thursday PRIMETIME is an insult to their fans. dude bringing in half the roster they have brought in from the tanks of the WWE and pushing them past their homegrown talent is an insult to their fans... the six-sided ring...insult to wrestling period... the way they have handled the Sting story-lne...insult to their fans... that lunatic announcer who creams himself anytime anything happens ever...insult to their fans... burying AJ Styles and Chris Daniels under Jeff Jarret, Rhyno, Kevin Nash, Sting, Scott Steiner, and Christian...an insult to their fans... calling a show that isn't ready for 11pm let alone primetime "primetime", while an insult, is hardly the worst thing they have ever tried to pull over on their fans... I really don't think it's that big a deal.

Much to Swarm's point, I was watching TNA last week and my wife walked into the room and couldn't stand watching it, because the announcers were so horribly cheesy. Mike Tenay is a good 3rd man in the booth, but isn't a great lead guy and Don West is on the David Crockett announcers school scholarship I believe.
I like watching Styles and Samoa Joe, but have to fast forward through so much garbage when watching the show. A wise idea of Spike TV to not give them prime time. Maybe in a couple years when their homegrown guys are more entrenched.

when I 1st read about TNA's move to Thursday it said they would be on at 9PM, but now I'm seeing Ultimate Fighter on and TNA pushed to 11PM. By bringing in Sting, Christian, Team 3D and a few other name stars I would think they wouldn't have gotten pushed back to 11.

Well, they got the word that they were getting a better time slot when Sting first appeared in Impact...and got them their highest ratings yet.
Unfortunately, that was when he announced his "retirement" and ratings actually fell lower than what they had been before...and Spike got cold feet.

Right now I don't think either fed is performing at its best. Hopefully, both will change for the better sooner than later.

And I swear, if Plethador comes out next time in an American Idol shirt....actually I'd like that. BOOK IT!

Right now I don't think either fed is performing at its best. Hopefully, both will change for the better sooner than later. I've noticed that wrestling is a zero-sum game. One federation does well while the other is terrible. You even see this with the brand split. One show will be great while the other is a chore to watch.

I still want to someday work in a six sided ring...=( I have a simple solution to your problem... all you have to do is try out for WWE Tough Enough... you don't even have to win...hell, just get your face on WWE programming for 2 seconds... sooner than later... you'll be burying TNA homegrown talent as the latest WWE cast-off superstar!
