Ahh, I see. But in all fairness look at the last iMPACT show...Sting makes an appearance as he debuts in the main event of a PPV....they say he's gonna be at the show, Douglas will get the 1st interview with him...then he doesn't show. Very anti-climactic.
And Larry Zybysko is the worst TV personality ever. Even more than Bischoff. His voice is SO irritating, plus Monty Brown punks him out and he comes off as a whiny b!tch. I just can't stand that guy...not as a wrestler, and certainly not post-wrestler era.

I'm not going to go round and round on this...=) I treat all three major shows the same way...I record them and fast-forward through the crap.
Such as any time the camera is on Jonathan Coachman...Finlay is punking out Matt Hardy...or the X-Gymnasts are flipping about the ring with no rhyme or reason to their spots.
I get enjoyment from aspects of Raw, SD! and Impact...and I dislike aspects as well.

Amen, Tommy.
Perhaps I spend way too much time focusing on the wrestling aspects of the respective programs (shame on me for daring to watch wrestling for . . . wrestling), but if a match is good, I'll watch it without much regard for the banner on the turnbuckle.
For my money, both promotions are pretty dreadful right now. WWE has had to rely on script-changing injuries to breathe new life into dead storylines, and they really haven't done much more than build programs around "the heroic wrestler versus the evil boss". As for TNA, I said it before and will repeat it here; relying on Sting or any 40-something performer when you have what is touted as the hottest roster of young talent on TV says just how much you believe in your product. That said, I think TNA is at times very watchable and very enjoyable.
I don't care if fans cheer everything (is that really different from saying "what?" at every Austin sighting or "you suck" at every Angle appearance? - NO because each is universally annoying and only minutely detracting from my enjoyment of a great match), wrestlers are spot kings (we all know how their careers end up) and production values are shoddy (when Luger was feuding with Windham, Big Cat and Ice Train were the up-and-comers, and the show looked like it was being taped in a high school mini-theatre, I still watched and loved NWA/WCW because every once in a while, they'd put on a helluva show - same can be said for ECW and for the waning days of the AWA - and this is coming from a guy who grew up thinking no one could stir up passion like Bruiser, Crusher, Spike Huber and Pepper Gomez). One man's opinion, but I care about the wrestling and about being entertained. Both brands have done that in the not-too-distant past, and both have struggled recently.

Well, anytime someone new comes out, most times, at first, you're not sure why they came out during another wrestlers' segment, but it all plays out in the end. And should Finlay be jobbing to Matt Hardy? That would create great hype..."Hey did you see the new guy? He's losing all of his matches to career mid-carder guys!" C'mon.

I've seen Finlay...I was a WCW fan during his TV title push.
He was boring then, he's boring now.
He was a great road agent from what I understand, but I have zero desire to see him in the ring again.

Not to pick a fight, just honestly asking because I may have missed something...but don't you say you don't watch TNA? Isn't that really the same thing then?

I have watched TNA...not every week. But I watch it. I certianly don't tape it and fast-forward through it...that's not being a wrestling fan. the point is people come on here and say how they "fast-forwarded" RAW or whatever then complain about the WWE... watch it. watch the show. THEN, if you still don't like it, at least you have a valid point. Just like I do with crappy TNA.

I couldn't agree more.
To the people who fast forward through much of a show, how do you determine when to stop and actually watch what is going on?

To be somewhat fair, there are certain times when you know you can fast forward. I second fast forwarding any time The Coach is on. The guy is worthless. I don't mind Finlay as much but he certainly isn't a phenomenal in ring performer. He has great technical skills but that is about it.
