I really like Tenay. He is definitely not the color guy but you know he loves wrestling. He knows the moves pretty well and knows alot of the guys backgrounds. He even knows when guys from Mexico or Japan come in. Joey Styles is almost as good. He also knows the moves and backgrounds of many wrestlers. To me it is an announcers job to learn a bit about every wrestler unless there is some reason to not do so. I think we will start to see less spotfest matches if we see just a few really good wrestlers get popular. I also think that people are getting sick of watching all the flips that seem to mean nothing. Look at how Amazing Red has almost completely disappeared. To me he and Jack Evans are the worst or the flippers. By worst I mean they flip so much that they don't do anything else. Anyways, this all probably belongs in another topic so I will shut up.

I will freely admit that I am a fan of high spots. Always have been. I liked WCW's cruiser weight division and I enjoy the X-Division...I just wish more of their wrestlers had personalities. Half of their guys I'm not even sure whether I should boo and yell at them. Aries, Strong, Shelly, etc. I agree that most of the X-Division matches are not reality based and will never be "real" but that's what I like. To me if we set up every match "like it were real" I would be watching UFC or MMA. Matches would never get to suplexes, powerbombs, powerslams, or piledrivers because those don't happen in life. To me wrestling is all about suspending reality whether it's high spots or mat based.
I will always give Jack Evans his due to because the man can take a beating. His move set is revolved around spots, spots, and more spots but the main can evoke a reaction from the crowd when he is getting beaten. I saw him get his tail handed to him by Samoa Joe at an ROH show and I thought he would be broken in half.
