Any time you take the NWA Title off JJ its a good thing. Rhino wining is actually an interesting turn of events, because when he made his transition from ECW to WWE, he was being groomed by Paul E as a monster...and WWE just weren't willing to give a short guy like Rhino that kind of push. However, in TNA it makes a lot more sense (when JJ is your TOP guy) with guys like Raven, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, Jeff Hardy, Abyss and others around the NWA Title. Rhino is 10 times better than Nash winning...and even if he is a transitional Champ, elevating him to NWA Champ and making him a valid Champ (having him win the way he did won't help) will only make him and the company better in the long run...so long as JJ isn't the one to take the Title back off him.
One thing TNA is is interesting...and its an alternative to WWE, which is a good thing. I still find the Saturday show fairly unwatchable...but I'm confident that given time, they'll keep getting better. I just don't think that TNA will ever be 'better' than WWE (at best, it'll take 10 years!)

A couple more thoughts...
I noticed that I could hear the wrestlers '"working" several times throughout the night. Did anyone else catch this? Either they need to tone it down (volume-wise) ar the cameraman needs to back up.
Also, it was funny to hear Tenay say "right in the nuts!" when somebody got kicked in the breadbasket (can't remember who though).

I woulda put the belt on Brown early this year, but since they messed that up, I would have pulled the trigger last night. That said, Samoa Joe would have been a MUCH better choice than Rhino.

From what I have heard Nash was not going to get the title. Putting the belt on Rhino was a very last minute decision. It is a very interesting decision though. I can't wait to see where this is heading. It would be cool to have Raven have to try to achieve his destiny again. That was a pretty cool angle. Maybe they keep the title off of Raven for another 6 months or more

Or they could have flown AdamSmasher in on short notice... I check my answering machine every day, still no luck. But someday! And hey, my man Johnny Fairplay isn't unheard of in TNA. I could out do Jarrett in a heartbeat. He may call himself the "king of the mountain," but he sure as heck isn't ready for the Big Time! Big Time.

on the bright side, if Spike Dudley ever goes to TNA, he is a lock for the X division Title.

Yes! I called the Rhino turn last month ... Though it was sooner then I thought....Rhino vs. Raven is a lock for the next PPV and maybe the Dec. PPV...that will give the writers to be creative on Spike... 3D will feud with AMW for a long while they need the heat to turn up iMpact for a while... And push X division to the max ... Makeing Joe a #1 right now would be a lot of work... Shaking up the roster too much for now anyway. ... We will be entertained no matter what will happen and may even help WWE improve ... keep em' rolling!!
