Is 11pm on a Saturday Night a certain ratings killer? I suppose you could tape it...but who here will seriously be watching religiously like we watch RAW?

I wish I could be hanging out with girls, but since I'm married, I guess I'll either watch TNA and tape OVW or vice versa.
To be young again....
And it was really dumb on Spike's part not to put TNA on Monday. I know many people are looking for an alternative and with TNA and UFC, I think it could have made a small dent in the WWE/USA's ratings.
If you're going to overtake the WWE, this would have been the chance. People are looking for the alternative. Plus, since they were bleeped, and not alot of other pub moving to USA, the casual fan may have still turned to Spike on Monday and saw TNA, thus maybe enjoyed the product and keep watching.
Man, wrestling needs competition. Can you imagine if McDonald's was the only fast food in town?!? Ughh

While I am usually out on Saturday and Friday nights, sometimes me and my girlfriend have stayed home and watched Velocity over some beers. So I guess if we sometimes watch Velocity then we might as well sometimes stay home and watch TNA. (By the way I was glad to hear that Velocity and Heat starting athis week are now going to be shown on the WWE site instead of on TV). But normally I wll probably just tape TNA like I'm starting to do now with Friday Night Smackdown and just watch them at my leisure. Too bad TNA is not replacing Smackdown as a Thursday night broadcast.

I DJ most Saturday nights, so I'll probably never be able to watch it. I think they'll do a replay at some time in the week though, like they do with the Ultimate Fighter show.

I heard in a interview from Shane Douglas that they may show a replay after Raw every week and slowly creep into a head on same time slot Monday Night War. I sure hope so that would make WWE really up there game....Or not

Yeah i'm rarely home on Saturday nights and even if I am I'm watching the Saturday Night ESPN game while drinking with my friends. I dont mind TNA dont love it, dont hate it, but i highly doubt I'd watch that or Smackdown anymore if it wasn't for Tivo and the ability to just fly through certain things during the show.

I'll probably just do what I do with Smackdown. Read the spoilers on Wednesdays and if I am home and there is nothing else better on I will watch it. Although I must say that TNA seems more interesting than Smackdown at this point. I'm seriously giving consideration to buying their next PPV, especially since there is no NFL game on that night (start of World Series).

I will catch it, I've done the out wasting money on drinking and the nonsense for far too long and worked as a bouncer/security staff at a bar and well had my fill of it. Plus the bars around here suck anyways so I will get together with some buds have a couple pints of Guinness and support TNA. Probably run a Legends tourney before it starts and see if I can get some of my other friends interested in purchasing the game. The only way they are going to do well is if folks support them.

I have a girlfriend and I most definitely will be watching TNA. And are you really this immature that you need to try to imply that if you watch TNA you must not like girls. Come on Swarm. I would think you could come up with something much better than that. And if drinking is what you really consider funh on Saturday nights then it is indeed time to grow up.

I will PROBABLY be watching it exactly like I watch Raw...with enough leeway to fast-forward through crap (I'm looking at you, Jarrett)..
Seriously...I don't drink. I tend to hang out with my wife more than I do other girls...at the least, the DVR will be running.
To gamemaster...the TNA replay is in place for Monday...but TNA and Spike are nuts if they think a REPLAY of a show taped a week in advance will so much as scratch the paint on Raw's surface.
I mean, I'll be watching Saturday nights, so I have no reason watching again, especially since if the show's that great, it'll still be sitting on my DVR come Monday night anyway.

No, Yes, and just because I go out with my girl and my friends and have a couple of beers instead of sitting on my couch with my girlfriend watching bad wrestling on a Saturday Night does not make me any less "grown up" than you. swarm

How is watching bad wrestling on a Saturday night any worse than watching two hours of bad wrestling on a Monday night? =P
Sorry...it left itself open RIGHT THERE.

And how does sitting in a bar wasting your life away make you more of a man? Does making fun of a promotion that you do not personally enjoy but obviously many others do make you feel manly? Take a look at your own poll results and realize that its time to stop attempting to make fun of TNA. WWE is bigger, and has tons more money and fans. I get it. We all do. Does that make it wrong or stupid for us to enjoy something different. No. Now go back to the WWE forum and keep on praising every move their soap opera writers make.

Just because you choose not to drink doesn't mean everyone who does "wastes their life away" at bar on saturdays. To each his own but I dont see people in this forum acting like they got a S on their chest just because they drink beer.

Bah, TNA is a nice change and an alternative to what is a stale WWE product. Whether your a WWE mark or a TNA Mark or heck just a Wrestling Mark in general lets not start with the slinging of "what it is to be a man" Monkey pooh competition because I am sure some have no clue. These boards are about talking wrestling not about who your drinking with and how many women your with or who has a girlfriend or what. Who cares?! Do you honestly think that crap matters in the big scheme of things? No, it doesn't besides there is another forum for that. This is a TNA forum so keep it on topic and be nice to one another. Like I have said many times two subjects that cannot really be talked about are Wrestling and Religion.

The last thing most people want to do is argue over a computer screen but how is this not on topic when the whole topic is Drinking and girls on saturday nights or watching TNA? Wrestling's geared for the majority of the people on this board's demograph and its a pretty common thing for about half that demo to be out doing whatever on saturday nights. I think the point of the whole topic was "Is this a smart move by TNA?" and I feel it may not be because most of my friends(that don't have tivo) won't give it a second look because they wont be home.
