In the opening bout, Shane Hagadorn topped Jason Blade with the CROSSFACE NECK CRANK in a match he roundly dominated. A powerbomb from Hagadorn halfway through the match took the smaller Blade out of his game, and the end was all but written
One-half of the tag team champions - Jimmy Rave - is backstage and is looking for his teammate Sal Rinaruo and the rest of The Embassy! It seems as if the rest of his team hasn’t arrived yet. Rave finds a note in Rave’s locker and reads it aloud! “Me and the boys took off to Ghana for some sunshine! Eh?! Don’t expect us back any time soon. You’ll always be the Crown Jewel, Jimmy! Prince Nana.” It looks like The Embassy has abandoned Jimmy Rave!! He’s irate! He calms himself and realize he needs to find a tag partner tonight for his tag title defense against the Briscoes!
In a back-and-forth match Ricky Reyes tops Davey Richards with his MODIFIED DRAGON SLEEPER. In a suprprisingly one-sided match Adam Pearce beat BJ Whitmer in a mild upset! After the match Adam Pearce got on the mic and made it known that he’s going to the top of Ring of Honor… no matter how many chumps get in his way! Whitmer gets up and attacks Pearce until Shane Hagadorn comes out and the two double team Whitmer, leaving him a wreck outside the ring!
Bryan Danielson pummels Jimmy Jacobs and tosses him to the outside, winning via countout.
Backstage Jimmy Rave meets up with Christopher Daniels and reluctantly asks him to be his partner. Daniels acts like he’s thinking about it, then laughs in Rave’s face before walking off! Rave snarls and storms off.
The Kings of Wrestling and Irish Airborne put on a great match, with Chris Hero finishing Dave Crist with the Hero Sandwich. The Crists actually controlled most of the match and show a lot of promise!
Backstage, Jimmy Rave walks up to Matt Sydal! Sydal gives him the same treatment Christopher Daniels did! Rave is furious!!!
Nigel McGuinness puts up with a early assault from Brent Albright to come back and win with the TOWER OF LONDON! Albright shook hands with Nigel afterwards, but was clearly frustrated. Nigel told Samoa Joe to keep the Pure title warm, because next show the title is going to be his!
Jimmy Rave is backstage yet again, searching for a teammate. Standing close by is Kikutaro! Kikutaro is standing in some strange Yoga pose, with one foot high in the air and a meditative look on his… mask. Rave shakes his head, mutters “Hell no” and walks to the ring!
In the ring Rave asks if anybody would come out to be his partner against The Briscoes! Colt Cabana’s music hits and the crowd goes nuts! Rave looks half unsure, half relieved to have a partner. The match itself went well, with Cabana and Rave working well together. Near the end of the match Colt Cabana accidentally nailed Jimmy Rave with a brutal lariat and the Briscoes took advantage by pinning Rave! Cabana just shrugged and walked off, seemingly unaffected by the loss! Meanwhile MARK AND JAY BRISCOE are the new Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions and celebrate in the ring! Rave pulls himself up from the mat and gets jeered all the way back to the locker room! Rave vows revenge!
In the main event, Joe and Homicide – the ROH Pure and World Champions respectively – dominate Austin Aries and Roderick Strong! At the end of the match Joe nailed Strong with the MUSCLEBUSTER when Nigel McGuinness came out and clipped the knee of Joe! The referee called for the bell! Nigel had a steel pipe in his hand and clocked Homicide over the head with it! Aries and Strong walk away as Nigel works on the knee of Samoa Joe! The crowd litters the ring with trash as Nigel smiles at his handywork!
