* Hart seemed to be annoyed with Valiant's antics, Valiant seemed to be in a world of his own and started off the bout by kissing the referee, Mantel slaughtered Valiant and Hart ended up leaving the ringside area before the match was over *

Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated "Superstar" Bill Dundee with the Piledriver *

Dream Machine (w/Jimmy Hart) beat Mr. Wrestling II via DQ when Wrestling II in the heat of the match slugged the referee Dud

Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated "Dirty" Dutch Mantel via DQ when Mantel lost his cool and ran Lawler head first into the ringpost **

Finals

Jerry "The King" Lawler beat Dream Machine (w/Jimmy Hart) with the Piledriver to become the Southern Heavyweight Champion **1/2
* As Lawler celebrated Dutch Mantel came to the ring and offered his hand, Lawler shook his hand, Mantel then raised Lawler's arm in victory and followed with a nasty clothesline that floored The King. Mantel then grabbed Shoo Baby, whipped Lawler into the ropes and rammed Shoo Baby's handle hard into Lawler's throat! Dream Machine and Jimmy Hart joined in by kicking Lawler over and over while he was down... Mantel then drove Shoo Baby's handle into Lawler's throat one last time before Mr. Wrestling II, Jeff Jarrett, & Austin Idol came to The King's rescue.

Early reports say that Lawler has suffered a moderately injured laryngx that could keep him out 5 cards... Commissioner Eddie Marlin did not issue a suspension for Mantel's heinous act.

Yeah, know how the waiting feels.. this is kinda a rough week for orders due to Galacticon just happening, but it will probably be there tomorrow or saturday I would think... depending on if Wally or Mutant works at your post office. Hope you get it tomorrow early!

I might be waiting till then, who knows. I remember when I ordered GWF a long time ago it took almost two weeks. I might of used a check so that's understandable... I don't remember. I used the two to three day shipping, mailed out the cash and invoice last Saturday.

Leslie just e-mailed me. It took from Saturday to Friday to get my order from Texas to New York. Crazy, eh? She said she will ship out tomorrow. So, I should have my LOW by Monday or Tuesday. I wonder if priority mail/two to three day shipping counts Sunday as a shipping day?

The show kicked off with Lance Russell stating that today we'd see The Rose Cousins in action, as well as Plowboy Frazier, Dream Machine, Jeff Jarrett, The Fabulous Ones would be defending the Southern Tag Team Titles, and Mr. Wrestling II would be squaring off against "Superstar" Bill Dundee.

The Rose Cousins beat Ken Raper & Freezer Thompson when Pat Rose pinned Freezer Thompson after the Bulldog *1/2

"Dirty" Dutch Mantel (accompanied by Jimmy Hart) comes to the announce desk... Mantel demands to speak with Eddie Marlin immediately. Eddie Marlin comes out an Dutch states the he wants a shot at Jerry Lawler's Southern Heavyweight Title, that he deserves it because everyone knows he had Lawler beat in the tournament. Marlin stated that Lawler is out with a largynx injury due to Mantel hitting him in the throat with Shoo Baby. Marlin did however state that if Mantel can beat Austin Idol tonight, then Mantel would recieve the first title shot at Jerry Lawler.

Plowboy Frazier downed Keith Eric via Big Legdrop *1/2

The Fabulous Ones(c) beat Rough & Ready when Steve Keirn pinned Ready after a high cross body off the top rope *

Jimmy Valiant comes to the announce desk to speak with Lance Russell about Jimmy Hart and why Hart deserted him at the tournament. Valiant stated that he didnt understand why Jimmy deserted him and he had thought everything was cool and they were tight. Russell seemed just as puzzled, but sympathized with Valiant... Dream Machine then came out and began taunting Valiant saying "Jimmy dumped you cause your an idiot, you spaced-out hippie" Dream Machine continued to berate Valiant long enough to distract him as Dutch Mantel pearl harbored Valiant with Shoo Baby's handle... Dream Machine held Valiant as Mantel smashed Shoo Baby's handle into Valiant's forehead over and over, busting him wide open as Jimmy Hart berated Valiant. Lance Russell pleaded for the 3 men to stop until Jeff Jarrett and Austin Idol hit the set and ran all 3 men off.

Buddy Landel defeated Plowboy Frazier by disqualification when Frazier rammed him face first into the ring post **

Mr. Wrestling II got the duke against "Superstar" Bill Dundee when he nailed the Million Dollar Kneelift off a ropes rebound 1/2*

Austin Idol & Jimmy Valiant beat Dream Machine & "Dirty" Dutch Mantel when Valiant put Mantel to sleep with the Valiant Sleeper... this was the best match on the card... lots of wild action, Hart tried to interfere early in the match but one good punch from Valiant sent him sailing off the apron to the floor... with that Idol and Valiant went to town and had the crowd on it's feet. ****
