Commissioner Travis comes to the ring to give an important announcement. Travis: Thanks everybody for coming out tonight, we have a great show lined up for you tonight. A former NWA World champion stopped by my office the other day and asked for a match against Frank Gotch here tonight, And I was only too happy to make that match, so here, tonight, Frank Gotch will face this former champion! Next up, the LWF will team with Big Time Wrestling to present the Tim Smith Cup. The Tim Smith Cup is a tournament of wrestling superstars from all over the world who will be competing this year for a one year LWF contract. These are the top superstars who have never worked for the LWF and one man will survive and get the guaranteed contract. Some names who have been mentioned for this year are lucha legend, Konnan, Japanese pureso legend, Rikidozan, and from right here in the US of A, Danny Hodge! But, hey, let me stop talking and lets get right into the action!
-Buff Bagwell w/ Sherri Martel destroyed S.D. Jones. Jones didn’t stand a chance in this match, and he didn’t even get an offensive move in.
ECW champion Justin Credible came to the ring and said that Travis didn’t have the balls to let him defend the ECW title at LegendsMania against the Sandman in the barbed-wire cage match. He said that since none of the other ECW boys were here tonight, he must be getting the night off, just then Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” kicked in and out came Road Warrior Hawk who said that if the ECW stood for kicking butt then the Road Warriors should fit right in and Credible should put that belt up right now. -Road Warrior Hawk pinned Justin Credible with a FLYING CLOTHESLINE to win the ECW title belt
-the Iron Sheik beat Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a flag-on-a-pole match
-George Hackenschmidt defeated Nikolai Volkoff despite interference by the Terrible Turk who then attacked Hack with a choke hold after the match
-the Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette won over Cousin Luke and Virgil by DQ when Virgil hit Stan Lane with brass knuckles. Afterwards, Luke and Virgil got into a fistfight until Ted DiBiase and Richard Hutton came out and started beating on Luke, leaving him bloody in the middle of the ring
The former NWA World champion turned out to be…Dan “the Beast” Severn! -Frank Gotch defeated Dan Severn by DQ. These two started out by putting on a wrestling clinic, but when the action spilled outside the ring, the referee DQ’d Severn for throwing Gotch out into the crowd. These two will meet again.
-in the main event, World Champion Nick Bockwinkel and Harley Race narrowly beat Antonino Rocca and Diamond Dallas Page by DQ
End of show.
Up Next : [glow=red,2,300]the Tim Smith Cup[/glow]

Throwing out the curve on Gotch. Kinda reminded me of the Kurt Angle Invitational (I don't care...Angle is the clone of Gotch!) and thought ol' Gotchie would be facing Plethador. I love the Severn angle though.
I love Hawk in singles as well. Nice win for the ECW Title.
YOu must be like me. When I first saw that Hack was going to be in Legends, I thought natural foreign heel....but after reading his background, I had to make him a face! I had Breznikov offer him a contract, but Hack turned him down....Volkoff and Iron Sheik came after Hack after he put the hurt on Breznikov.
Nice work as always

Cousin Luke and Virgil... that's quite a pairing! No wonder they didn't gel as a unit.

Cousin Luke comes down to the ring to the sound of banjos, he looks mad! “Cousin Teddy, I came here to the LWF to be a team with you, but if you don’t want me on your team, you didn’t have to send Virgil to hurt me, you coulda’ just tol’ me. Now, Virgil, I gonna have to throw one of them mean whuppin’s on you tonight” -Cousin Luke pinned Virgil after Virgil missed a deathjump. After the match, Ted DiBiase grabbed Luke in the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER and refused to let go. By the time paramedics got to Luke he was already blue in the face. He may be out of action for a while.

-ECW champion Hawk nearly took the Sandman’s head off with a running clothesline. Sabu ran down to ringside and hit a dropkick off the ropes on Hawk, then Sabu and the Sandman put the boots to Hawk until Animal ran down and made the save. “You little creeps think that ECW is so tough, well, how about at the next show, you two take on the toughest tag team of all time!”
-the Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette beat the N-Forcers when they hit the VEG-O-MATIC on Bob Orton Sr.
Bobby “the Brain” Heenan was Bill Apter’s guest in the “Hot Seat” Apter: Mr. Heenan, you asked for this time on today’s show. Do you have something you want to share with the world? Heenan: Share with the world, no. Share with all these humanoids, yes. Next week, right here on this show, I will show off my latest signing…the Rock! Apter: The Rock! You’ve got to be kidding me! Heenan: The Rock will be here next week in action. He’s the perfect companion to the Heenan Family. We’ve taken over the LWF, now we’re taking over the world! This is just the beginning. The LWF World champion Nick Bockwinkel and now…the Rock! Apter: Wow! That is a bombshell! You heard it here first wrestling fans! -a bloody George Hackenschmidt beat the Terrible Turk in a Russian Chain Match.
Frank Gotch is Bill Apter’s guest tonight on the “Hot Seat” Apter: Thanks for stopping by tonight, Frank. Gotch: Please, Bill, call me Mr.Gotch. Show some respect for a real wrestler. Apter: Um, sorry, Mr. Gotch. The readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated have rated you as the most hated wrestler of the year. Does this surprise you at all knowing how popular you were just last year when you were facing Gorgeous George? Gotch: Nothing those idiots that read your rag does surprises me…the only surprise I have is that some of those people can read period. Apter: You’d be surprised to learn--- Gotch: Bill, you’re a wrestling journalists, right? Apter: Yes. Gotch: I’ve got an exclusive for you right now. Apter: Really? Gotch: Yes, it’s called What it feels like to be trapped in the Gotch Toehold! [glow=red,2,300]LWF vs. ECW[/glow] @ the ECW Arena
This was more of an ECW show than LWF show with the LWF just loaning the use of it's name. The booking was all handled by the ECW wrestlers.
-Danny Doring pretty much squashed Buff Bagwell.
-the Sandman outbrawled Hacksaw Jim Duggan pinning him after a falling legdrop
-Justin Credible surprised everyone by defeating George Hackenschmidt by smashing him with his SINGAPORE CANE.
-Chris Candido scored a HUGE win over Diamond Dallas Page when Candido's girlfriend Sunny pushed DDP off the turnbuckle causing him to crotch himself on the top rope.
Frank Gotch came out with a mic. "I'm glad there's no extra pressure on me to win tonight. I'm glad that the other LWF wrestlers didn't let the ECW boys sweep us. Man, it's just embarrassing to lose to a pack of lowlifes like the ECW people, especially in front of their fans here in Philly. Well, ECW fans, I can promise you that I won't let your hometown heroes sweep the series. Their isn't a wrestler from ECW that can beat a real wrestler". -Frank Gotch kept his word, forcing Steve Corino to tap out to the GOTCH TOEHOLD
-In the main event, ECW champion Hawk pinned Sabu with a FLYING CLOTHESLINE after Sabu missed a TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT
LWF:2 ECW:4

"Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Hacksaw Jim Duggan comes to the ring, brandishing his ever-present 2x4. "Last week, I took on the Sandman and when it looked like I had him beat, he pulled out that singapore cane and hit me on the noggin with it! Well, I don't know a thing about these "extreme rules" matches, but I have my trusty 2x4 and if you want to use that piece o' wood, I'll use mine. So Sandman, if you have the guts, let's have one o' them "extreme" matches right now!" "Enter Sandman" starts over the PA and the fans get on their feet knowing that the Sandman is on his way. - in an "extreme rules" match, the Sandman beat Hacksaw Jim Duggan when he blasted Duggan with the SINGAPORE CANE -S.D. Jones won over the debuting Sheik when the Sheik threw a fireball in his face. The Sheik's manager, the Grand Wizard, then distracted the referee while the Sheik brutalized Jones some more. The Grand Wizard then promised that there would be more destruction here in the LWF. -Buff Bagwell defeated Brad Armstrong by DQ when Bagwell's valet, Sherri Martel slid a pair of brass knuckles in Armstrong's trunks and alerted the referee. The ref saw the knuckles and called for the bell. Armstrong was very upset, but Bagwell stole the win.
- "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig w/ Bobby Heenan pinned Koko B. Ware with the HENNIG PLEX
-Steve Corino upset Road Warrior Hawk to win the ECW title belt
-after being dominated for most of the match, Frank Gotch made a reversal into a crossface/arm bar combo for the submission victory over Dan Severn
Diamond Dallas Page is Bill Apter's guest on "the Hot Seat". He says that World champion Nick Bockwinkel is ducking him but that it won't be long before he has to step into the ring and "feel the bang!!!!"
[glow=red,2,300]LWF tag title match[/glow] -Killer Kowalski & Ox Baker beat the Midnight Express when Ox Baker pinned Bobby Eaton. Jim Cornette then entered the ring and blasted Baker with his tennis racket, busting his head open while Bobby and Stan Lane double teamed Kowalski.
End of show.
