Bobby Eaton, Dennis Condrey and Jim Cornette Sabu b. Chris Candido Dan Severn b. Konnan Ted Dibiase b. Bruiser Brody Sheik b. Jimmy Valiant Extreme Tag: Sandman and Bobo Brazil b. NOTES: Doctor Death beat his old rival with a Lariat that followed a wicked Backdrop Driver...Bobby Eaton was injured by the Road Warriors following the big 6-man tag. Eaton is still obligated to defend the PPW tag-titles, but Stan Lane is contractually allowed to step in for either him or Condrey. The tag-title scene could be interesting...Sabu and Candido shook hands after an awesome match. Sabu rallied from intense ringside brawling to win with the Triple Jump Moonsault. This was Candido's last PPW match for awhile as he lost a "Loser-leave-town" match to Dan Severn at Hardcore Heaven...Severn beat Konnan in a hard-fought battle and each man claimed they had what it takes to be a champion. PPW officials have offered them a chance to back it up as they will be the first two men in the Buffalo Stampede rumble. The winner of the battle royal will be crowned the inaugural Television Champion!...Jimmy Valiant fought a gutsy match against the Sheik, but succumbed to a foreign object repeatedly stabbed in his forehead....PPW Champion Sandman is on a roll and pinned Corino in the main event using a DDT. The champ is going to need this momementum in the upcoming "four-corners" title match in Buffalo.

NOTES: The Midnight Express scored a cheap victory over the Vachons with a rare countout decision. The two teams have signed for a "Falls Count Anywhere" match in Philadelphia...Severn and Doring are signed for a rematch "To-A-Finish" at the next card in Philadelphia. Doring eliminated Severn after The Beast tossed Hawk over the top rope. Doring achieves the honor as the first PPW Television Champion. He cannot rest on his laurels as his first defense will be against The Beast!...Ox Baker took THREE Doomsday Devices before being pinned. The Ox was upset at Turk for not being of much assistance in this match. The two have signed for a match on the next card...Dennis Condrey beat Jimmy Valiant with a tag-title shot at stake, but scored an upset. No idea who Valiant would have chose for his partner to challenge for the straps...Sandman gutted out a fantastic victory in defense of the PPW title. He and Corino were the last two survivors and had a great brawl before Corino succumbed to the Singapore Cane. Corino is the #1 Contender to the PPW Belt...Ted Dibiase was injured by Brody and Duggan after this much-anticipated encounter. Can Williams get revenge for his partner?

PPW at Philadelphia Another Summer Night International 2 of 3 falls Tag-Challenge: Antonio Inoki and Rikidozan b. Bad Storm 2-0. Inoki b. B.A., COR and Rikidozan b. Bad Bart Vanity b. Jimmy Valiant World Television Title Match: Dan Severn b. Danny Doring (ch) to win the title! Battle of the Brawlers: Ox Baker b. Terrible Turk World Tag Titles, Falls Count Anywhere: Vachons b. Title, Singapore Cane match: Steve Corino b. Sandman (ch) to win the title!
NOTES: Just "Another Summer Night" in Philadelphia? Not in PPW, as all three titles changed hands!...Inoki and Rikidozan are the #1 international contenders for the Tag-Titles...Dan Severn used a German Suplex to end Doring's short reign as inaugural TV champion. Later in the night an in-ring interview with the new champ saw Doring challenge Severn to "any type" of match. Severn asked for a "special" cage match. Doring agreed...Ox Baker bested the Turk in a great brawl. We haven't seen the last of these two in the ring...The Algerians beat the Midnight Express in a wild brawl. Mad Dog slammed Eaton to the concrete floor for the pinfall...Brody beat Williams and injured him in a post-match brawl with Dibiase, Virgil and Duggan. Both Dibiase and Williams are sidelined due to the physical nature of these four men's matchups...Corino captured his first gold by using the cane and then the title belt to smash the Sandman into dreamland.

The two latest cards in PPW!
PPW Debut at Queens, NY "Headbangers Ball"
Bad Bart b. Bad A. PPW Title - Steve Corino b. Bad Bart Headbangers Ball, 3 Way Dance for title shot later in the night featuring: Midnight Express (Condrey and Lane), Road Warriors and Bruiser Brody with Jim Duggan. Eliminations: Brody b. Animal Lane b. Duggan Cobra Challenge - Masked Superstar b. Virgil Old School Slugfest - Justin Credible b. Bobo Brazil Hardcore Match - Terrible Turk b. Ox Baker Tag-Team Challenge - Konnan and Vanity b. Jimmy Valiant and Missing Link Dueling Canes - Sabu b. Sandman World Tag-Team Title Match - Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane b. The Vachons to win the titles World Television Title Steel Cage Match - Dan Severn b. Danny Doring
NOTES: PPW Champion Steve Corino opened the show by challenging The Collector to provide one of Bad Storm (Black Hole Bart and Astro Turk) the opportunity to challenge for the PPW title. Corino mentioned that PPW gave him an opportunity first as an announcer at the "Double Tables" event earlier in the year and then management provided him with the opportunity to challenge for the PPW (which he won from the Sandman). Corino offered the title shot to a winner of match between the two members of Bad Storm. Bart won and Corino made short work of him to retain the title...Ted Dibiase launched a tirade against Brody and Duggan for injuring his partner and refused to leave ringside during the 3-way Dance. Brody and Duggan looked like they were on their way to victory, but too much interference from Dibiase, cornette and injured Midnight Express member Bobby Eaton. The Midnight Express won this match and the titles later in the night against the Vachons...Masked Superstar edged out a narrow decision against Virgil...Credible continues to impress even though he is without the PPW title...Baker and Turk have signed for a Stretcher Match to settle their feud...Singapore Canes were legal as Sabu beat the Sandman. Sabu has plenty of unfinished business against PPW Champion Steve Corino...Danny Doring was injured in the cage match against TV champion Dan Severn as "the Beast" is a force to be reckoned with.
PPW Champion: Steve Corino PPW Tag-Team Champions: Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane PPW Television Champion: Dan Severn
Best of All Worlds at Philadelphia Beauty vs. Beast: Missing Link b Vanity Old School: Masked Superstar b Jimmy Valiant Extreme Gauntlet: Sandman b Bad Storm A and Bad Storm Bart PPW TV Title: Justin Credible b Dan Severn (ch) to win the title! Stretcher Match: Terrible Turk b Ox Baker 6-Pack PPW Tag-Title Match: Midnight Express vs. Vachons vs. Rikidozan and Inoki vs... Brody and Duggan vs. Rude and Hennig vs. Konnan and Mascaras Eliminations: Rude b Duggan Rikidozan b Mascaras Condrey b Mad Dog Rikidozan b Hennig Rikidozan b Condrey PPW Barbwire Title Match: Steve Corino b Sabu
NOTES: Sandman one-upped PPW Champion Steve Corino's performance in Queens by beating BOTH members of Bad Storm in consecutive matches...Justin Credible captured the TV title from Dan Severn. Severn was suprised by Credible's out-of-the ring antics and finished the Beast with a Superkick. Credible joins Severn as the only two wrestlers to win two different titles in PPW (Severn won the Tag and TV titles, Credible is a former Heavyweight champion)....
Rikidozan and Inoki used awesome teamwork and stamina to win the tag-titles. The 6-pack Tag-Title match started with 4 teams in the ring while the former champions Vachons and the Midnight Express would enter after the 1st and 2nd eliminations, respectively. The Road Warriors were originally supposed to be involved but were replaced by the surprise "Minnesota Wrecking Crew" of Rick Rude and Curt Hennig. Rude and Brody started the match and had an awesome brawl, but Rude pinned Duggan when Justin Credible whacked Duggan across the knees with a Singapore Cane. Credible was allegedly scouting talent to join a super group that would replace the old Triple Impact. Could Credible have been scouting the new champions? Rikidozan landed Hard Chops on Condrey in the last elimination, but Cornette distracted the pinfall. Rikidozan used a chop on the Louisville Lip and another Thunderous Chop on Condrey to pick up the win. The 6-pack match is a definite "Match of the Year" candidate
PPW Champion: Steve Corino PPW Tag-Team Champions: Rikidozan and Antonio Inoki PPW Television Champion: Justin Credible

PPW at Philadelphia, PA "Ultimate Jeopardy"
Dennis Condrey and Stan Lane b. Bad A. and Bad Bart of Bad Storm Condrey and Lane b. Koko B. Ware and SD Jones The Armstrongs b. Eaton and Lane
Giant Baba b. Cousin Luke Giant Baba b. Ox Baker Ivan Koloff b. Missing Link Martial Arts Challenge: Larry Zbyszko b. Dan Severn 1st-Time Ever: Sabu b. Curt Hennig 1st-Time in PPW: Rick Rude b. Bruiser Brody Ultimate Jeopardy Tag-Team Main Event: PPW Champion Steve Corino and PPW Television Champion Justin Credible b. Sandman and Jim Duggan. Due to prematch stipulations Sandman cannot bring his cane until December. Corino risked a title shot with a choice of stipulations to whoever pinned him, Credible risked his championship if he was defeated and Duggan risked his hair if he lost the fall.
NOTES: THe Midnight Express started the show by claiming to defeat three teams, just like Inoki and Rikidozan did to win the tag belts last time in Philadelphia. They almost did it, but lost to the third team from the locker room: Old rivals the Armstrongs. The two teams will square off in a rematch to see who is the number #1 contender heading into November Pain...Giant Baba made his debut and was confronted by an old rival: Ox Baker.Baba beat Baker in an impromptu match after pinning Cousin Luke. Could the Baba-Baker feud be rekindled in PPW?...Larry Legend looked good in his match with Severn, but removed the turnbuckle during the fall. Could Larry have won the match without this trick?...Sabu and Hennig had an awesome match as their two styles meshed well...Rude upset Brody with the help of his partner Curt Hennig. Brody wants a match with Hennig soon...Ultimate Jeopardy was full of suspense as both Sandman and Justin Credible were bloody messes. Corino looked sharp and Duggan roughed up the TV champion outside against a parked car's windshield. Duggan is going to receive a TV title shot at November Pain, while Sandman will challenge Steve Corino, with Corino naming the stips. Can Sandman regain the PPW title without his Singapore cane? Stay tuned as these questions will be answered at November Pain!

Card played two weeks ago and is the prelude to the PPW's next big event: NOVEMBER PAIN. Matches to be announced after the event in New Jersey.
SD Jones and Bad Storm Adam - draw Missing Link b. Bad Bart Larry Zbyszko and Dan Severn - draw #1 Contenders Match: Midnight Express b. The Armstrongs Ox Baker b. Giant Baba Diamond Dallas Page b. Ivan Koloff Bruiser Brody b. Curt Hennig 1st-time Ever! Rick Rude b. Sabu World Tag-Titles with Sandman as referee: Champions Inoki & Rikidozan b. TV Champion Justin Credible & World Champion Steve Corino
NOTES: Big news for November Pain as nearly every match in New Jersey had ramifications for the big card...
Two time-limit draws reached the end for different reasons: SD Jones could not pin Bad Adam due to interference from the Collector and Bad Bart. Koko B. Ware and SD have challenged Bad Storm to a tag match for November Pain...
Dan Severn nearly beat Larry Legend, but had to keep preventing Larry from removing the turnbuckle (Larry beat Severn in their first meeting at Ultimate Jeopardy by using the exposed turnbuckle). These two have signed for match at November Pain with stips to be announced...
Cornette interfered to seal the tag-title shot for his charges at November Pain, but Bob Armstrong was visibly upset with the racket shot he took to his neck...
Ox Baker and Giant Baba continued their rivalry in PPW, but Ox injured Baba with the HEART PUNCH. No word on how long Baba will be out of action...
DDP made his PPW debut in a big way with an electric win over Ivan Koloff. Page caught Koloff off the top ropes when the Russian Bear attempted a knee drop. DDP hit the DIAMOND CUTTER from this position and poured it on for a fast victory. DDP was interviewed after the match and Koloff challenged him to a Russian Chain Match for November Pain. DDP eagerly accepted...
Bruiser Brody battled Curt Hennig in a great match which featured an interesting contrast of styles. Hennig could not keep Brody off-balance with his edge in quickness and succombed to Bruiser's power..Hennig's partner Rick Rude looked sharp in his win over Sabu which was their first-time against each other..
Special Referee The Sandman was instrumental in the World Tag-Title Match as he made life miserable for Corino and Credible. Sandman ignored interference from Jim Duggan which led to Inoki pinning Credible. Awesome match.
PPW Champion: Steve Corino PPW Television Champion: Justin Credible PPW Tag-Champions: Antonio Inoki & Rikidozan
Matches to be announced for NOVEMBER PAIN next post...

The problem will either work itself out real soon or this union will dissolve real quick...A video tribute was played for the most decorated team in PPW history: The Midnight Express. The Midnights lost the titles at November Pain and have since announced that due to Bobby Eaton's injury they are leaving the federation. He eliminated several enemies and helped DDP eliminate Rude after the Ravishing One tried to blindside Page. Duggan fought the most inspiring battle in the rumble! ...Ox Baker is trying to work his way back into contention and is using the HEART PUNCH to do it...DDP pinned Rude in the 6-man and he and Duggan eliminated Rude in the rumble. DDP has earned a title shot against his arch-rival at "House Party" in Philadelphia !

The outcome is always in doubt when these two teams lock horns, with the action flowing back and forth. Could this be the end of the Dibiase/Williams partnership? First, the miscommunication in the battle royal, then two unsuccessful tries for the titles. This great team looks out of sync with each other...DDP captured his first gold with a win over Rick Rude. DDP has been on a wave of emotion since pinning Rude in that tag match in Queens and then winning the battle royal...Sandman used his specialty to gain a win over the Beast. PPW Double-Titles in Philadelphia, PA Ox Baker b. Virgil Giant Baba returned and prevented Ox from injuring Virgil. Baker injured Baba several cards ago and Baba is back in PPW for revenge!
Buff Bagwell b. Vanity, COR Vanity took a dropkick and landed on Sweet Thing. He carried her back to the locker room forcing the ref to count him out.
Ted Dibiase & Steve Williams b. Brad & Bob Armstrong Dibiase won with a FIGURE-4 on Bob and demanded an in-ring post match interview. Dibiase stated that people think that him and the Doctor have been dysfunctional lately, but yet the PPW sanctions two wrestlers who are not even regular partners (Hardcore Champion DDP and Hardcore TV Justin Credible) to challenge for the tag-titles. He demands a 3-way dance for the belts to prove they are the most cohesive unit in PPW. Tag-Champion Bruiser Brody rushed the ring to confront Dibiase, but was attacked by Williams. Sabu made the save but it was too late as Brody seemed injured from the attack after fighting both of them off. Williams and Dibiase were added to the tag-title match.
The Beast, Dan Severn b. The Sheik Great match between two contrasting styles. The Sheik used an object to stab Severn in the forehead several times, but Severn used the Choke Sleeper to get two near victories. Severn sealed the win with a pinfall using the Shoulder Slam.
Hardcore Tag-Titles, 3-way Dance: Champions, Bruiser Brody & Sabu vs. Hardcore Champion DDP & TV Champion Justin Credible vs. Dibiase & Williams! Awesome action as all teams showed up to fight. Dibiase gained the first fall using deathjumps to keep Credible off-balance and pinned Credible with a Top-Rope Press. Brody, Sabu versus Dibiase & Williams nearly fought to the time-limit, but Sabu rallied and used the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT to retain the belts. Brody's injury never came into play. Dibiase & Williams demand a match where they can face off against the champions and vow to split if they cannot win the gold! This feud between the champs and Dibiase & Williams is turning into one of the most action-packed feuds in PPW history!
Steve Corino & Missing Link b. Danny Doring & Chris Candido, COR Corino kicked Doring through a table to eke out a victory.
Larry Zbyzsko b. Sandman Larry Legend needed 2 PILEDRIVERS to overtake the former PPW Champion.
Rick Rude b. Jim Duggan Rude took the FLYING SPEAR, but turned the tables with a couple of suplexes and a piledriver. Rude used a Clothesline to pin Duggan.
Hardcore Champions Challenge: Hardcore Champion Diamond Dallas Page b. Hardcore TV Champion Justin Credible Credible controlled the match and looked on his way to victory with a DDT, SINGAPORE CANE shot, but when Credible lined up DDP for a Superkick Page reversed it to the CUTTER and used the Diamond Dream to win this challenge!
Hardcore Champion: Diamond Dallas Page #1 Contender: Rick Rude
Television Champion: Justin Credible #1 Contender: Larry Zbyszko
Hardcore Tag-Champions: Bruiser Brody & Sabu #1 Contenders: Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase

Love the fed. I'm surprised to see that both Credible and Sandman are former PPW champions. Their LoW cards are barely above jobber IMO.
The tag team of Bruiser Brody and Sabu must be a real fun pairing. They definitely fit as Hardcore Tag champs.

Thanks for reading! You know when using normal rules Sandman and Credibles disqualification moves and ratings hurt them tremendously, but both have excelled especially with the advent of the Hardcore Texas Death Match (which are the rules for ALL title matches, unless stipulated otherwise). Credible in particular is really dominant beating Sheik, Bobo Brazil among others as the Cane and That's Incredible are real killers. I am pushing him to get a tag-title reign to become PPW's first Hat Trick winner (all three titles), but Sabu and Brody may have to say something about that. And the fact Credible needs a regular partner, but may wait until his TV title reign is over.
Sabu and Brody do have their hands full with Steve WIlliams and Dibiase as these teams have had EXTREMELY close matches with Sabu and Brody barely squeaking by. Keep reading for the conclusion to this feud as I have some surprises in store for these 4 men!! I will be playing a card within the next week or so and I try and get the results posted within days of the event.

PPW at Ft. Lauderdale Brad and Bob Armstrong won an 8-team Hardcore Tag-Team Battle Royal with the winners receiving a shot at Sabu & Bruiser Brody's Hardcore Tag Titles in the main event. The Armstrongs last eliminated Rick Rude and Larry Zbyszko to win the match. Other teams included Sandman & Jim Duggan, Chris Candido & Danny Doring, Buff Bagwell & Virgil, Bad (Meteor) Storm and Steve Corino & Missing Link. Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase were one of the last three teams in the match, but another miscommunication lead to Dibiase being backdropped over the ropes by Bob Armstrong.
Television Title, "Beauty and the Beast" 3-Way Dance: (ch) Justin Credible b. Vanity and Dan Severn The Beauty (Vanity) and the Beast (Severn) each had an opportunity to win the TV title in this match. Credible eliminated Vanity when he used some ringside brawling to turn the match around and used a superkick and a power bomb outside the ring to win the 1st elimination by count-out. Severn could not overcome the Hardcore tactics of the man who beat him for the TV title (Credible) in the 2nd elimination and Justin Credible continued his winning streak. Credible's TV title reign is reminiscent of his Hardcore Title reign where he always seemed overmatched, but managed to perservere.
In-ring Interview with Giant Baba (through an interpreter) who vowed his revenge on Ox Baker. Baba had been injured after a match with Baker and wanted to get him in the ring any time. At that moment the Sheik appeared at ringside for a scheduled match with Baba, but the two brawled into the stands and out of the arena. PPW officials ordered the next scheduled match to take place immediately.
PPW Title: (ch) Diamond Dallas Page b. Ox Baker Page started with a flourish, but Baker rallied with some questionable tactics bringing the champ down in a hurry. Page rallied back with a DIAMOND CUTTER out of nowhere to get the pinfall and a successful defense of his title. Due to the short length of this match, Baba and Sheik returned brawling to ringside and PPW officials ordered a tag-match between DDP and Baba versus Ox Baker and old enemy, the Sheik!
Impromptu Tag-Team Match: Sheik and Baker b. Baba and DDP Ox did most of the in-ring work, but started to wear down. Finally, Baba was jumped by The Sheik while DDP and Ox brawled their way to the locker room. DDP was attacked by Rick Rude on his way back to the ring, paving the way for a vicious double-team for Baker and Sheik on Baba. A CAMEL CLUTCH dislocated the shoulder of Baba, sending him back to the injury list.
Ringside interview with Ted Dibiase. Joey Styles asked Dibiase what the future holds for him and Steve Williams as their bad luck is hurting their title chances in PPW. Dibiase replied "That by hook or by crook we will win those tag belts of this 3rd rate league. Mark my words." At that moment, the Armstrongs made it to the ring and Brody's music played and he hit the ring. Swinging his tag-title belt at Dibiase. These two got into a shouting match as Sabu's music played, but Dr. Death was disguised as a vendor at the souvenir table and savagely clotheslined Sabu who was running to the ring to help Brody. Doc power bombed Sabu through a table before security broke things up. Sabu landed awkwardly and obviously hurt his shoulder. First Brody's arm was nearly dislocated by a ladder/stomp sandwich by Dibiase and Williams and now this. Clearly, Doc and Dibiase are trying anything to win the gold.
PPW Tag-Titles: (ch) Sabu & Bruiser Brody b. Bob & Brad Armstrong. Injuries to Brody and now Sabu slowed them down a bit as Brody needed 2 JUMPING KNEE DROPS to pin Bullet. Hardcore Champion: Diamond Dallas Page #1 Contender: Rick Rude
Hardcore Tag-Champions: Sabu & Bruiser Brody #1 Contenders: Ted Dibiase & Steve Williams
TV Champion: Justin Credible #1 Contender: Larry Zbyszko
NOTES: Post-match recap from Joey Styles announced that Sabu & Brody have offered a tag-title shot at the upcoming Philadelphia card: Hostile City Showdown. However, Brody and Sabu will only defend the tag-belts against Dibiase and Williams in a Table and Ladder match. The stipulations for this match will be the belts will be suspended and can only be reached by climbing a ladder to retrieve them, BUT ONLY AFTER putting an opponent through a table! Brody and Sabu told PPW officials that if Dibiase and Williams like tables and ladders so much let's use them in the match! Other matches include: PPW Champion Dallas Page versus Rick Rude, TV Champion Justin Credible defends the belt in an Extreme Lumberjack Match against Vanity, The Sheik versus Giant Baba, and an important match in the PPW Tag-Title rankings: Chris Candido & Danny Doring versus The Armstrongs and The Sandman and Jim Duggan fight two rivals: Steve Corino and Missing Link! Plus a debut of the newest powerhouse alliance in pro wrestling. Don't miss this card!

PPW at Philadelphia Hostile City Showdown
Gauntlet: Dan Severn vs. Bad A., Black Bart, Virgil and Ox Baker Severn b. Bad A, Bart and Virgil all with the WAKIGATAME, but fell to Ox Baker and the HEART PUNCH
As promised, an interview with the debut of the "future of professional wrestling", manager The Dark Menace. The Menace bragged about how he controls the wrestling world and nothing happens without his consent. The Menace boasted that he will unveil his new proteges first in the 4-way dance, then in a later bout. He then introduced the first two members of the Dark Alliance: The Dark Patriot (US Patriot) and Larry Zbyzsko!
4-WAY DANCE, with importance in the PPW Tag-Team Rankings: Zbyzsko & Patriot vs. Danny Doring & Chris Candido vs. Buff Bagwell & Konnan vs. Stan Lane & Brad Armstrong Zbyzsko b. Doring with spinning back kick Zbyzsko b. Armstrong with PILEDRIVER Patriot b. Konnan with FREEDOM FLYER The Dark Alliance makes a successful debut!
Extreme Lumberjack for the TV Title: Justin Credible (ch) vs. Vanity fought to a no-contest, when all the lumberjacks brawled into the ring. A rematch has been ordered under Barb Wire rules!
Hardcore Grudge Tag Match: Sandman & Jim Duggan b. Steve Corino & Missing Link Sandman walloped Corino early and often, using 2 DDT's and a SINGAPORE CANE smashes for near-pinfalls. Link broke up the win each pinfall attempt, but another SINGAPORE CANE won the match for the Sandman. Corino berated Link for not breaking up the last pin and was slapped in the face! Link chased Corino to the back in what could be a wild match-up.
Grudge Match: Giant Baba b. The Sheik An injured Baba gutted out a victory against his hated rival with the Russian leg sweep. Rugged brawl with Baba dominant towards the finish.
Hardcore Title Match: Ravishing Rick Rude b. Diamond Dallas Page (champion) to win the title! Rude becomes a 2-time PPW Champion with the RUDE AWAKENING and his new manager, The Dark Menace! The Menace cackled at the end of the match claiming the first goal of the Dark Alliance is complete and that darkness will reign over the PPW. Rude and the Menace assaulted DDP with Rude landing flying elbows on Page while Menace held down his legs! The Dark Alliance claims its first victim!
Tables & Ladder Match for Hardcore Tag-Titles: Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase b. (champions) Bruiser Brody & Sabu to win the belts! The Main Event was this much anticipated match between the two teams who have engaged in the toughest tag-team feud in PPW History, even eclipsing the Midnight Express classic battles against the Killer Bees and Dan Severn & Chris Candido. The winner of the match would be the first team to climb the ladder after smashing an opposing member through a table. As expected, a wild brawl with Brody getting tackled through a table by Dr. Death. Dibiase was able to climb the ladder and grab the belts for their long-awaited title victory! Williams & Dibiase will go down in history in ending the longest-title reign in PPW history (# of defenses). Awesome finish to a great feud & rivalry. Can Williams & Dibiase overcome the physical and emotional stress from this feud to become great champions?
Hardcore Champion: Rick Rude #1 Contender: Ox Baker #2 Contender: Sandman
Hardcore TV Champion: Justin Credible #1 Contender: Vanity
Hardcore Tag-Champions: Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase #1 Contenders: Sandman & Jim Duggan #2 Contenders: Larry Zbyzsko & Dark Patriot

PPW at Buffalo The Sheik beat Buff Bagwell, sadistic hammerlock
Stan Lane beat Virgil, SUPERKICK
Brad Armstrong beat Danny Doring, COR after a clothesline
Hardcore Tag Champions Ted Dibiase and Steve Williams beat Bad Storm (Black Bart and Bad A.) when Williams used the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE to pin Black Bart
Grudge Match: Missing Link beat Steve Corino after a death jump and atomic drop in a good match.
Hardcore TV Title Ladder Match: Vanity (with Sweet Thing) beat Champion Justin Credible to win the title using LADIES CHOICE to knock the champion out of the ring before climbing the ladder. This was the first clear decision between these two in three matches. Their first encounter Credible won by count-out and then a no-contest lumberjack match forced this specialty match.
Three Way Dance: Ox Baker beat Sabu and Dan Severn. Sabu beat Severn with slingshot leg drop and CAMEL CLUTCH and Baker beat Sabu with HEART PUNCH. Sabu was helped back to the locker room due to an apparent injury from Bakers finisher.
Special Challenge: Rikidozan beat Frank Gotch in a great match using the Boston Crab
6-man Elimination Match: Dark Alliance, led by The Dark Menace featuring Hardcore Champion Rick Rude, Larry Zbyzsko and Dark Patriot vs. Sandman, Jim Duggan and Giant Baba!
Order of eliminations: Sandman beat Rude, HARDCORE DDT Sandman beat Larry Z, HARDCORE DDT Patriot beat Jim Duggan, Patriot Missile Patriot beat Baba following a death jump body press Patriot beat Sandman, FREEDOM FLYER (with help from Rick Rude) Sandman and Rude brawled to the back and had to be seperated by security. Sandman and Patriot were the only two competitors to capture falls for their teams in this marathon match.
NOTES: Sandman will challenge Rick Rude in the next Philadelphia card "Heart of Darkness" while tag-team champions, Williams and Dibiase defend against the other Dark Alliance members: Zbyzsko and Patriot... Could be a stellar night for the Dark Alliance. Other matches: Stan Lane will receive a TV title shot against Vanity.

Two great cards posted below...
PPW at Ft. Lauderdale, FL War Memorial Auditorium Stan Lane b. Brad Armstrong, SUPERKICK Steve Corino & Justin Credible b. Buff Bagwell & Virgil, Credible used the SINGAPORE CANE on Virgil to secure the win. Diamond Dallas Page b. Danny Doring, COR. TV Title: Missing Link b. Vanity (ch) to win the title with the BACKFLYING HEADBUTT Konnan b. Sheik, TEQUILA SUNRISE. Konnan scores the upset in front of a partisan crowd. Sabu b. Larry Zbyzsko with the CAMEL CLUTCH
Jim Duggan b. Dark Patriot with a FLYING SPEAR Duggan continued to beat on his rival from the Dark Alliance, injuring the war-painted agent of the Dark Menace. The Patriot and Larry Zbyszko have lost their tag-title shot due to the injury. PPW officials promise a substitute.
Rikidozan b. Ox Baker, the #1 International Contender beats a former PPW champion following THUNDEROUS CHOPS
Lights-Out, Non-Title, Barb Wire Match: PPW Champion Rick Rude b. Sandman. Rude alertly avoided serious contact with the Barb Wire throughout the match, much to the dismay of the crowd. Rude won by tossing Sandman into the wire, and Sandman is now injured due to a post-match attack by Rude and the Dark Menace. Sandman has vowed revenge since he will not get his title match in Philadelphia. Replacing him will be #1 International Contender and former PPW Tag-Champion Rikidozan!
NOTES: Several matches have been spawned from this card. Rick Rude will defend the title against the #1 International Contender, Rikidozan. Will the former tag-champion be able to clinch the big title from the Ravishing One? ...Konnan & The Sheik will face off in a Hardcore Brawl, while DDP tries to keep Danny Doring in the ring in an Extreme Rules Lumberjack Match...The next PPW card should be an exciting one as the weather is heating up and so is the action with the Heat Wave card approaching quickly.
PPW Champion: Rick Rude TV Champion: Missing Link Tag-Champions: Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase
PPW at Philadelphia, PA Matter Of Respect Double-Debut: "Bloody" Harker Dirge b. Savage T Dirge's size too much for Savage T and was finished off with his version of the Dragon Sleeper, THE DIRT NAP
The ring announcer had an important news flash that the winners of the following bout will receive a tag-title shot this evening. This substitution was greeted with large round of applause. PPW Champions Ted Dibiase & Steve Williams scouted their potential challengers from the broadcast position.
Tag-Challenge: Steve Corino & Justin Credible b. Brad Armstrong & Sabu Corino bloodied Sabu as he and Justin isolated him. Armstrong got in, but damage was already done as THE OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION finished off Sabu. Corino immediately grabbed the mike and questioned if the champs were ready for the challenge. Doc & Dibiase stormed ringside and said they were ready for the title match now...
PPW Tag-Titles: PPW Champions Ted Dibiase & Steve Williams b. Steve Corino & Justin Credible, Williams pinning Corino with OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE. The challengers made a cardinal mistake by rushing the title match as Corino & Credible came out flat against two tough veterans. Williams landed some of his power moves after Dibiase hit Corino & Credible with elbows, a loaded fist and an extended Figure-Four. Wonder how the match would have ended with the challengers fresher?
3-Way Dance: Bruiser Brody b. Ox Baker & Vanity. Ox stopped the former TV champion Vanity with the HEART PUNCH, but his finisher was not effective on Brody. The returning Bruiser rallied after the action spilled from the ring and landed a JUMPING KNEE DROP, but Baker kicked out!! Brody hit a Foot to face finally ending this long, exciting long match.
Hardcore Rematch: Konnan b. The Sheik Another wild match ended with Konnan using the sitout face buster on a chair to pin the Sheik. Konnan has won two straight matches from the Sheik despite absorbing tremendous brutality. Wonder what type of match can settle this rivalry?
TV Title Match: Stan Lane b. Champion Missing Link Lane used his speed and skill to keep the Link off-balance. He captured the title with a Side Leg Sweep. The TV Title is a "Hot Potato" as champions are having trouble retaining the title since Justin Credible's long reign as Vanity and Link had very abbreviated reigns.
Larry Zbyzsko b. Jim Duggan, PILEDRIVER The Dark Alliance created enough Havoc to allow a pinfall for the Legend. Zbyzsko is rumored to be in line for a TV title shot.
PPW Champion, Rick Rude b. Rikidozan Rick Rude has gone extreme since entering PPW as he turned back the international challenge of former tag-champion Rikidozan. Rude TWICE slammed Rikidozan's head into a car in a nearby parking lot and used a Piledriver to pin a groggy Rikidozan. Rude has had two tough battles for his belt: beating and injuring Sandman in a Barb Wire match and this one. His reputation as a tough customer is growing. Rude's challenger for Heat Wave will be announced soon.
Extreme Lumberjack Match: Diamond Dallas Page b. Danny Doring Page dominated and finished the match after Doring tried to escape, but was met with a SINGAPORE CANE smash from one of the lumberjack's: The SANDMAN!! A DIAMOND CUTTER pinned the Dastardly one, but Page invited some of the lumberjacks to get a piece of Doring. Sandman hit him with another cane shot, Brad Armstrong hit a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP and Jim Duggan hit a FLYING SPEAR much to the approval of the crowd. Not surprisingly, Doring was injured from this assault.
PPW Champion: Rick Rude TV Champion: Stan Lane Tag-Champions: Steve Williams & Ted Dibiase

As PPW heads into the Heatwave Tour, all PPW talent participated in the joint LWA-PPW draft lottery:
LWA-PPW Draft Lottery Challenge at Wilkes-Barre, PA - Special Live Weekend Edition of Battlezone TV, Episode 4 Bill Apter began the night in the ring and announced a talent exchange agreement between the PPW (Hardcore) and LWA (Battlezone) has been complete. As a result of this agreement a series of matches is scheduled for tonight with a representative from each organization facing each other in a match. The winner of the match will be awarded an immediate draft selection with names chosen from the losing organization at random. Without further adieu, let’s go down to ringside for our first match…
Clash of Champions #1: LWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan) b. PPW Champion Rick Rude (with the Dark Menace), COR. The top two champions in the world of wrestling square off in the lead match of the challenge, but an early flurry of action outside the ring led to a disappointing result. Battlezone selection: Buff Bagwell.
Hardcore Tag Team Match: (Hardcore - HC) Sabu and The Sandman b. (Battlezone -BZ) Chris Candido and Dan Severn. Wild match between PPW alumni Candido and Severn fell to PPW perennials Sabu and Sandman were too wild to tame. Hardcore selection: Ilio Dipaulo
Battle of the Big-Hitters: (HC) Bruiser Brody b. (BZ) King Kong Bundy, JUMPING KNEE DROP. Another hard-fought contest Battlezone Selection: Moscow Assassin
Tag-Team Battle of Former Champions: (HC) Ox Baker and Diamond Dallas Page b. (BZ) Superfly Snuka and Curt Hennig, HEART PUNCH on Hennig. Hardcore Selection: Sherri Martel
Battle of the Up & Comers: (BZ) Larry Sharpe b. George South, knee drop. Sharpe wins a close match. Battlezone Selection: Bobo Brazil
Clash of Champions #2: (BZ) IC Champion Buddy Rose b. (HC) TV Champion Stan Lane, BOMBS AWAY. Rose did not have Sherri Martel due to an earlier draft selection, but still prevailed in this battle of “secondary” champions. Battlezone Selection: Brutus Beefcake
Clash of Champions #3: (HC) PPW Tag-Champions Steve Williams and Ted Dibiase b. (BZ) LWA Champions Fabulous Kangaroos (with Red Berry), Dibiase FIGURE-FOUR on Costello. These teams have fought before with each team winning one match, but the Hardcore champs win the rubber match. Hardcore Selection: Virgil
Cruiserweight Challenge: (BZ) Koko Ware b. (HC) Savage-T, COR. Battlezone Selection: George South
Final Challenge, double-selection 14-man battle royal with winner receiving two draft picks! Representing Battlezone: Yukon Eric, Crusher, Argentina Rocca, Don Muraco, Don Leo Jonathan, Ivan Koloff and George Hackenschmidt. Representing Hardcore: Konnan, Jim Duggan, Larry Zbyzsko, Steve Corino, Justin Credible, Missing Link and The Sheik!
A good old, fashioned donnybrook concluded the evening with the Battlezone crew nearly eliminating the Hardcores, mainly due to Ivan Koloff tossing out Duggan, Larry Legend and Missing Link. Justin Credible surprised the Russian Bear and only 7 people remained: Credible and Sheik for Hardcore and Crusher, Yukon Eric, Don Muraco, Hackenschmidt and Don Leo Jonathan for Battlezone. Muraco was tossed by Don Leo Jonathan and Crusher tossed Credible to bring it down to a 4-on-1. The Sheik stopped his out of ring assault on Jim Duggan enough to toss Crusher and then Yukon Eric over the ropes. Hackenschmidt attacked the Sheik, but the Syrian backdropped the Russian to the arena floor, leaving The Sheik to face Jonathan. The two legends locked up and Sheik actually gained the advantage and used a FIREBALL to blind Jonathan, which helped him eliminate him from the battle royal. The Sheik won the battle royal but did not even realize how important the victory was and continued to frighten ringsiders and officials with his bizarre behavior.
Battle Royal Winner: (HC) The Sheik Hardcore Selections: Harley Race and Don Leo Jonathan. Upon the announcement Jonathan, still blinded from the fire attack, challenged the Sheik to a match! Don Leo wanted to get his hands on him, but officials blocked the two from fighting as Battlezone went off the air. Stay tuned for results of the supplemental draft as 6 picks remain (3 each for Hardcore and Battlezone).
Special recap from Ottawa, ONT Supplemental draft results: Virgil and George South exchanged places as Larry Sharpe used his attorney Sam “Small Print” Lynam to find a technicality that reverted these two men back to their original brands using a draft pick from each company. The basis of this loophole is that neither man was under proper contracts (Virgil did not sign Sharpe as a manager until before the draft and South had a temporary contract with the Hardcore group. The last two picks went as follows:
Battlezone 1: Jim Duggan Hardcore 1: Jimmy Snuka Battlezone 2: Ida Mae Martinez Hardcore 2: Butcher Vachon
Bill Apter discussed the new rosters and managerial lineups for LWA and the PPW: LWA Champion: Nick Bockwinkel IC Champion: Chris Candido Tag-Champions: Fabulous Kangaroos
Heenan Family: Bobby Heenan, Nick Bockwinkel (ch), Crippler Stevens, Buddy Rose, Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine.

Television Title: Champion Stan Lane (with Sherri) b. Vanity (with Sweet Thing), COR. Sherri and Sweet Thing fought to the locker room and while Vanity tried to separate them, Lane hit the Enzuigiri and rolled into the ring for a count-out win. 1st Time Ever: Sabu b. Savage T, TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT. A bloodied Savage T kicked out of a deathjump and Arabian Facebuster after the referee was KO’d. Sabu desperately revived the official and landed his finisher for the win. Good match.
Broadcast ended with Sabu shaking Savage T’s hand!
Second television taping:
Bruiser Brody b. Ox Baker with a deathjump & crossbody. Baker began the episode with verbal abuse on the ring announcer. Brody bolted to the ring and the match was on between these two rivals! Brody used his speed advantage to keep Baker off-balance. These two should have a good match at Heatwave, featuring the Heart Punch vs. Jumping Knee
Harker Dirge b. Brad Armstrong. Good match, but the referee was knocked out. Like Sabu in his match with Savage T, Dirge revived the ref and pinned Armstrong with a fireman press slam.
Joey Styles mentions three other matches has been added to Heatwave: A 3-way dance for a tag-title shot during the Heatwave Tour and finally, Superfly Snuka versus Sabu!! Harley Race will give the gritty George South a rematch in the operner.
The Sheik and The Russian Front b. Don Leo Jonathan and Ilio Dipaulo, after a double-team attack. Jonathan asked for this match to get his hands on the Sheik, but Jonathan was never able to tag-in against this diabolical duo (Dipaulo started the match when it was clear The Sheik would not get in the ring against the Mormon Giant).
Tag-Champion Dr. Death Steve Williams b. Steve Corino, COR. Preview of their Full Throttle, No-Time Limit Tag-Title Match at Heatwave as Corino fought with Ted Dibiase outside the ring, short match which lead to…
Tag-Champion Ted Dibiase b. Justin Credible, LOADED GLOVE. All 4 men got involved during this event as the tag-title match at Heatwave should be a good one, but Dibiase kept the pressure on Credible using the FIGURE FOUR to keep him off balance. Corino and Williams fought around the arena, but Old School held the advantage while the episode ended…These two teams should have a great match at Heatwave!
Main Event Tag-Team Challenge: PPW Champion Rick Rude and Larry Zbyszko (with the Dark Menace) b. Diamond Dallas Page and Superfly Snuka, RUDE AWAKENING. Long match with plenty of action saw Rude pin Page after using his finisher TWICE on the floor and once in the ring to gain the win.
