HOUSE OF HUMPERDINK TED DIBIASE MASKED SUPERSTAR SUPER DESTROYER THE MOUNTIE M - SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK BG - THE MISSING LINK
vs.
STEVE WILLIAMS - THE SOONERS DANNY HODGE - THE SOONERS
MR. WRESTLING II
THE DESTROYER
Steve Williams is upset that his former best friend ( Ted Dibiase ) has joined the evil Humperdink and has swore to put an end to the HOUSE. He's formed a team with fellow Oklahoman Danny Hodge and the duo looks pretty damn impressive on paper. Mr. Wrestling II is continuing his long standing rivalry with his hated nemesis The Masked SuperStar and occasionally forms a team with fellow masked man The Destroyer ( who wants to show the Super Destroyer who really is the Destroyer ). Also there is a love hate relationship going on between the House and Albano's bunch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RAY STEVENS GREG VALENTINE BEEPO - THE MONGOLS GETO - THE MONGOLS M - LOU ALBANO
vs.
MIL MASCARAS
PEPPER GOMEZ
ANIMAL - THE ROAD WARRIORS HAWK - THE ROAD WARRIORS M - PAUL ELLERING
Albano has called out the Road Warriors, saying his team of the Mongols could beat them in any type of match, tag, singles or even three man with the managers involved. With the L.O.D. you sure don't have to ask twice. Ray Stevens recently embarrassed Pepper Gomez in a match at the legendary Cow Palace in San Francisco and the Latin hot blooded Gomez is looking for some payback. Pepper has also asked fellow Mexican star Mil Mascaras for help with Albano's other cronie Valentine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RICK RUDE W - SHERRIE MARTEL
vs.
CURT HENNIG W - TRINITY DENUCCI
Battle of the egos with the ladies involved. The fans have sided with the very narcissistic Hennig, being the lesser of two evils I guess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BOBBY EATON - MIDNIGHT EXPRESS STAN LANE - MIDNIGHT EXPRESS M - JIM CORNETTE
vs.
TOM PRICHARD - THE REAL HEAVENLY BODIES CHRIS CANDIDO THE REAL HEAVENLY BODIES W - TAMMY
Tom Prichard is probably the top face in the territory and he's the one keeping Candido on the face side, besides the fans love the eye candy Tammy. They have infuriated Cornette by taking the Heavily Bodies name and I'm sure by the end neither team will look the same.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ANGELO KING KONG MOSCA - KING KONGS KING KONG BUNDY - KING KONGS
vs.
KILLER KOWALSKI DON LEO JONATHAN
A rare heel versus heel feud but when you're the biggest dogs on the block eventually you have to fight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B.G. JAMES - THE JAMES GANG KIP JAMES - THE JAMES GANG
vs.
BOB ARMSTRONG BRAD ARMSTRONG
Nuff said....................
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GIANT BABA TIGER MASK
vs.
RIKIDOZAN
vs.
ANTONIO INOKI JUSHIN ' THUNDER' LIGER
The battle of All-Japan and New Japan has come to R.M.W. and Rikidozan is caught in the middle trying to be peacemaker and he'll bust all their heads if he has too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
INDEPENDENTS STEVE CORINO 'WILD' RED BERRY FRITZ VON GOERING LARRY SHARPE GEORGE SOUTH

You're trying to kill me with the Beepo & Geto spelling, right? ;D
I think Albano's crew is going to have a tough time.
King Kongs vs. Don Leo & Kowalski should be fun. You've got some serious beef in the ring with those four.
Baba wins the Japan feud because the Neckbreaker Drop kills everybody.
James Gang vs. Armstrongs - looks one-sided, but hopefully the Bullet can teach his youngest boy a lesson.
Good to have you back! Happy New Year!

[glow=white,4,300]ROCKY MOUNTAIN WRESTLING[/glow]
CARD # 1
PEPSI CENTER - DENVER, COLORADO
TIGER MASK * (b) GEORGE SOUTH** by PIN * Tiger Mask had control the entire match but South kept leaving the ring to try and slow the masked Japanese sensation's onslaught. He did so one too many times as Tiger Mask caught him with a Space Flying Tiger Drop, then rolled him back in the ring and hit a Tiger Suplex for the three count. *1/4 The fans were in awe and stunned silence of the amazing ariel display they had just seen of a man they had just read about in PWI up until this point. TIGER MASK moves on in the R.M.W.A. JR. HWT. CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE TOURNAMENT and will face the winner of the Pepper Gomez and The Destroyer match on card # 3.
MISSING LINK**** /w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink (b) MR. WRESTLING II** by PIN * II used his speed advantage and controlled the majority of the match and had the pin following a Million $ Knee Lift but Humperdink placed his man's foot on the bottom rope forcing the break. II then went for a very out of character move for him as he went to the top rope but Link recovered, grabbed him and threw him to the mat with thunderous force. He then hit a Back Flying Headbutt for the stunning upset. ** In a shocking stunner Link will be moving on in the R.M.W.A. HWT. CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE TOURNAMENT and will face the winner of Ted Dibiase and Bob Armstrong on card # 3.
RICK RUDE /w/ Sherri Martel (b) STEVE CORINO** * The Ravishing One hit a Rude Awakening on the King Of Oldschool in the opening minute ( three moves ) but the wiley tough Corino got his foot on the ropes to break the count. Rude then hit a second Rude Awakening and it was lights out for Corino. DUD Rude moves on in the Hwt. tournament and will face the winner of Curt Hennig and Ray Stevens on card # 3.
THE MONGOLS : GEETO**** & BEPO*** (b) B.G.**** & KIP***** JAMES by PIN * THE JAMES GANG appeared to have the match in hand but timely interference by Albano kept his guys in it. The ref sent Albano to the back and ordered him not to return to ringside. Albano was beside himself with anger and left the ring area, this seemed to confuse the Mongols and with their guide gone they were out of control. Bepo was almost disqualified a few times for using his chains but it was Bob & Brad Armstrong walking out on stage that really shifted things as B.G. was distracted BIG TIME! At this point Kip had Bepo reeling but missed a turnbuckle charge and crashed hard into the ring-post, Bepo & Geeto the hit a Mongolian Drop on Kip and Bepo got the three count as B.G. was too preoccupied with looking at the Armstrongs to notice what was happening and didn't make the save. *** The MONGOLS move on in the R.M.W.A. TAG-TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT and will face the winner of the Midnight Express and The Kong's match on card # 3.
THE DESTROYER (b) PEPPER GOMEZ****** by SUB * Gomez inadvertently clotheslined the ref early on and was so upset at what he had done he tried to revive the ref. The Destroyer used this to his advantage as he blindsided the Latin sensation and from that point on he just systematically took Pepper apart and eventually forced Gomez to submit with a Figure Four Leg-lock. *1/2 The Destroyer moves on in the Jr. Hwt. tournament and will face Tiger Mask on card #3. A PWI reporter caught up with the destroyer in the back to ask him a few questions about his actions tonight in which he responded " Hey, it's not my fault I'm smarter then he is. This is wrestling and it's about winning or losing, plain and simple and I'm a winner. I'm gonna outsmart Tiger Mask too, brains and talent beats flashy moves every time.
CURT HENNIG /w/ Trinity (b) RAY STEVENS by PIN * Albano accompanied his number one man to ringside but was met by the same official that had barred him earlier and was again ordered to the back before the match even started. Capitan Lou & Stevens were both irate at this turn of events and Curt made sure the upset and unfocused Stevens would not regain his composer by jumping all over him at the bell and pinning him quick with a Perfect Plex. DUD Hennig will face his former best friend and partner Rick Rude on card # 3 to see who will advance in the Hwt. tournament. Both men want to be champ but more over they want to cripple the other.
KING KONG BUNDY** & ANGELO KING KONG MOSCA*** (b) by DQ THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS : BOBBY EATON*** & STAN LANE* /w/ Jim Cornette * A surprisingly good match as it was a classic case of speed versus power. The Kongs used their immense size advantage early on but the teamwork of Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan eventually was too much for their gargantuan adversaries. Eaton had Mosca pinned after some incredible double teaming and a Veg O Matic but Killer Kowalski and Don Leo Jonathan charged the ring and attacked............... Bundy and Mosca forcing the ref to call for the bell and disqualify the Midnight Express for outside interference. **1/2 Cornette was livid and he was jumping around the ring like a deranged rabbit , while swing his racket wildly in the air & yelling " This is isn't fair!" Also clearly upset, Sweet Stan out of nowhere Superkicked the ref, knocking out two of his teeth and leaving him lying on the mat holding his already swelling jaw. THE KONGS will meet the Mongols on card # 3 to see who will advance to the finals of the tag title tournament.
"BULLET' BOB ARMSTRONG***** (b) TED DIBIASE*** /w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink by DQ * Dibiase used the Loaded Black Glove early and often eventually busting Armstrong open. The Bullet showed great heart and determination as he just wouldn't quit and even managed a come back as he locked Ted in a Sleeper. Dibiase was clearly going out as Humperdink jumped in the ring and whacked Armstrong in the back with his cane. The ref immediately disqualified Dibiase and awarded the match to Bob Armstrong. Ted recovered and joined in with his manager as they beat Bob down, Brad eventually ran in to make the save bychasing off Dibiase and Humperdink. **3/4 BOB ARMSTRONG will move on in the Hwt. tournament and will face the Missing Link ( another Humperdink guy ) on card # 3. ** Side note - damn those dice, this was supposed to be Ted Dibiase versus Mr. Wrestling II and neither advanced but hey whatcha gonna do.

[glow=white,4,300]ROCKY MOUNTAIN WRESTLING[/glow]
CARD # 2
PEPSI CENTER - DENVER, COLORADO
'DANGEROUS' DANNY HODGE (b) 'WILD' RED BERRY by PIN * No flash, no pomp and circumstance needed as Mr. Hodge is all business in the ring and made quick work of Red pinning him easily after a Oklahoma Side Roll. DUD
ANTONIO INOKI** (b) LARRY SHARPE*** by SUB * Though way outclassed Sharpe showed some great resilience and toughness as he took the fight straight to the Japanese superstar and almost scored the monstrous upset after a Piledriver. Larry took the fight to the floor one too many times though as Inoki's temper showed when he bounced Sharpe's face off the steel ring steps and then threw him back in the ring and locked on the Octopus Hold from which there was no escape for Sharpe and he was forced to submit. **1/2
MIL MASCARAS** (b) THE MOUNTIE*** /w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink by SUB * Mascaras was finally able to make the Canadian submit with a Octopus Hold. Mil seemingly had the match won earlier after a beautiful Crossbody Block from the top turnbuckle but interference by Humperdink kept his man in the match but the end was inevitable as Sir Oliver had to stand by and watch his Mountie give up to a very pain hold. ** Mil Mascaras will face Antonio Inoki in the next round of the Hwt. title tournament and was he making a statement by using the exact same hold as Inoki to win his match?
THE REAL HEAVENLY BODIES : TOM PRICHARD*** & CHRIS CANDIDO /w/ Tammy (b) by PIN MASKED SUPERSTAR* & THE SUPER DESTROYER*** /w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink * The Masked SuperStar had Prichard dead to rights and was ready to finish him off but the Super Destroyer tagged himself in and lost all control after interference by Tammy which allowed the good Dr. to go to his tights for a Foreign Object and hit Super Destroyer with it ( twice ) to gain the controversial victory. SuperStar made no attempt at a pin save and looked very disgusted as he just walked to back after the match, leaving behind his manager and partner. **1/4 PWI recently ran an article called WHY IS DR. TOM PRICHARD SO LOVED BY THE FANS? The article stated Prichard is dirtier than most rule breakers out there but the fans still cheer and adore him.
FRITZ VON GOERING (b) STEVE ' DR. DEATH ' WILLIAMS*** * No one knew what to expect from the reigning European champion as not even PWI covers the European scene very well. It was obvious Goering meant business though as he went straight at the tough as nails Doc, who never really got on track, and after a Knee Drop on Williams throat things looked bleak. Two Back Breakers followed and it was over. The fans were in utter shock as were many of us but I guess we all know know that Fritz Von Goering ( reigning European champion ) is no joke.*1/2
JUSHIN 'THUNDER' LIGER**** (b) BRAD ARMSTRONG**** * The eldest son of the Bullet showed he belonged with the elite of the Jr. heavyweights, as he came oh so close to beating the incredible Liger, but fell just short. After all his spectacular moves it was a simple small package off the ropes that won Jushin the match and secured a date on the next card with the incomparable Danny Hodge in the semi-finals of the R.M.W.A. JR. HWT. CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE TOURNAMENT.
THE ROADWARRIORS : HAWK**** & ANIMAL***** /w/ "Precious' Paul Ellering (b) by DQ MURDER INC. : KILLER KOWALSKI***** & DON LEO JONATHAN**** * This one was a smash mouth bloodbath as these two teams went at it like two rabid dogs. The RoadWarriors hit the Doomsday Device on Don Leo and Animal went for the cover but it was broken up by Kowalski and a steel chair shot to the Animals head causing an immediate disqualification. Soon after the KONGS hit the ring and laid waste to everyone, including the RoadWarriors. ****
SHOHEI 'GIANT' BABA (b) GREG VALENTINE*** /w/ Lou Albano * Any delusions Valentine had of winning were squashed quickly as Baba dismantled the Hammer and his manager after several Baba Chops and a incredible Neck Breaker Drop. DUD

Danny Hodge - the man can snap a pair of pliers with his bare hands - c'mon!
Mongols - I'm hoping the Road Warriors get DQ'd somewhere

[glow=WHITE,4,300]ROCKY MOUNTAIN WRESTLING[/glow]
CARD # 3
WORLD ARENA - COLORADO SPRINGS , COLORADO
TIGER MASK****** (b) THE DESTROYER***** by PIN * Tiger Mask hit two Space Flying Tiger Drops during the match and the second led to the end after rolling the Destroyer back in the ring and then hitting a Rolling Senton for the 1.2..3! Incredible match!!! ***** Tiger Mask advances to the finals of the Jr. Hwt. tournament.
THE MONGOLS - GEETO*** & BEPO** /w/ Lou Albano (b) by PIN THE KONGS - ANGELO KING KONG MOSCA**** & KING KONG BUNDY**** * Albano interfering and distracting the ref saved his guys a couple times and then a miss communication between Mosca and Bundy, where Mosca accidentally struck Bundy, led to a Mosca being pinned by Geeto after a Top Rope Knee Drop. ***1/2 The Mongols advance to the finals of the tag-team tournament. ** After the match an irate Bundy hit an Avalanche on his own partner, leaving Mosca lying in the ring as he headed towards the back to a chorus of boos from the sold out crowd.
MIL MASCARAS (b) ANTONIO INOKI*** by PIN * Inoki missed a turnbuckle charge , Mil went for the cover but Antonio kicked out. Mascaras then went for his Crossbody Attack but the Japanese Icon once again kicked out. Mascaras went to the top turnbuckle once again but this time Antonio met him at the top and after a brief struggle Inoki ended up being slammed to the mat face first and was caught with a spectacular Flying Bodypress from the top and the ref counted 1.2..3! **1/4
RAY STEVEN*** (b) PEPPER GOMEZ by PIN * Pepper had the Bay Area Crippler reeling but Albano interference led to Gomez leaving the ring to chase The Capitan. Stevens with time to recover nailed Pepper when he climbed back in the ring and put him away after a Bombs Away in a stunning turn of events. *1/2
BOB ARMSTRONG* (b) THE MISSING LINK /w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink by SUB * Armstrong clotheslined Humperdink off the apron then locked Link in the Sleeper for the submission victory. * Bob Armstrong advances to the semi-finals of the hwt. tournament.
GIANT BABA (b) FRITZ VON GOERING** * Baba wasted little time in dismantling the European champion Goering and pinned him after a Neck Breaker Drop. 1/2* Giant Baba advances to the semi-finals of the hwt. tournament and will face fellow international legend Mil Mascaras.
TED DIBIASE* /w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink (b) BRAD ARMSTRONG*** by SUB * Brad was looking for some payback for the attack on his father last card. What he got instead was injured as Dibiase made Armstrong give up to the Figure Four Leglock but would not release the hold after the bell. Ringsiders said they heard Brad's knee pop right before he yelled out in agony. With Bob already gone from the arena Brad was on his own but after several minutes the fans erupted as B.G. & Kip James charged the ring and got some good shots in on Dibiase and Humperdink before they made a hasty retreat to the back. As he was going up the ramp Dibiase was pointing at the James Gang saying you'll pay for sticking your nose in our business. *3/4 Brad will miss several cards with a pre-diagnosis of strain knee ligaments.
THE ROADWARRIORS - HAWK & ANIMAL /w/ Paul Ellering (b) by PIN THE HEAVENLY BODIES - TOM PRICHARD** & CHRIS CANDIDO** /w/ Tammy * The Warriors weathered the boos from the crowd, as they were facing possibly the most beloved tag team in the fed, to totally run over the bodies and gain the victory after a Powerslam by Animal on Candido. *1/4 The L.O.D. will face the Mongols in the finals of the tag tournament on card #5.
JUSHIN 'THUNDER' LIGER (b) DANNY HODGE*** by PIN * Liger never allowed the dangerous Hodge to get anything rolling on offense as he refused to go the mat with the All-American and used his ariel assault to keep Hodge off balance. Liger scored the huge win after a Brainbuster that knocked Danny unconsciouses. ** Liger and Tiger Mask will face off on card #5 in the finals of he Jr. Hwt Championship tournament.
CURT HENNING**** (b) RICK RUDE***** /w/ Sherri Martel by PIN * During the match Hennig's new manager came down to the ring and following a cane shot to Rude's back then a Perfect Plex Hennig stole victory from the jaws of defeat as he pinned a bloody Rude to advance to the semi-finals of the Hwt tournament. ***1/4 After the match "Wild" Red Berry raised his man's hand in victory in the center of the ring to chorus of boos from the fans.

After two straight Heart Punches and a Running Clothesline Bundy toppled out of the ring was was unable to beat the ten count to get back in. *1/4BOBBY EATON & JIM CORNETTE (b) by PIN THE HEAVENLY BODIES : TOM PRICHARD & CHRIS CANDIDO ** /w/ Tammy * Subbing for a suspended Stan Lane Jim Cornette never got in the ring as Bobby Eaton was a one man wrecking crew. Eaton pinned Candido after a very sloppy Divorce Court ( because of Cornette ) and a handful of tights. *JAPANESE INTERNATIONAL HWT. CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCHRIKIDOZAN **** (C) vs. ANTONIO INOKI *****Amazing match as these two Orient Icons put on a clinic of wrestling. In the end it was Rikidozan's Thunderous Chops that finally put Inoki down for the count. ***1/2CURT HENNIG ** /w/ 'Wild' Red Berry (b) "Bullet" BOB ARMSTRONG * by PIN * Armstrong had control early but after a brawl on the outside it was all Hennig from there and soon came The Perfect Plex that spelled the end of Bob's title hopes. **DANNY HODGE *** & THE DESTROYER (b) by PIN TIGER MASK **** & JUSHIN 'THUNDER' LIGER **** There was a lot of tension on both sides between team mates but it was Hodge and Destroyer that held it together better. Hodge wore both Japanese sensations down with his incredible wrestling but it was the Destroyer who got the pin on Liger with a Figure Four Leglock, where Ligers shoulders were down and with the pain didn't realize the three count. **1/2* After the match The Destroyer was taking all his teams credit for the victory to a PWI reporter, saying "I could have beaten both those guys by myself, hell I practically did" MIL MASCARAS (b) GIANT BABA ** Probably fearing the dreaded Neck Breaker Drop, Mascaras never allowed Baba to get anything going offensively and scored the stunning quick win after a Slingshot Plancha. *SIX-MAN TAG-TEAM MATCHTHE ROADWARRIORS : HAWK *****, ANIMAL * & PAUL ELLERING (b) by DQ THE MONGOLS : GEETO ***, BEPO ** & CAPITAN LOU ALBANO *** The Mongols isolated Hawk for most of the match and almost had it won clean but a huge comeback by Hawk then a tag to Animal really turned the tide. Animal had Bepo pinned after a Powerslam but a third Mongol looking guy charged the ring with a chain and proceeded to lay waste to the entire Legion Of Doom. Soon it was a four on two as Ellering was knocked cold by a vicious chain shot. Hawk & Animal took a severe beating at the hands of this barbaric trio and their manager. **3/4** After the match all four men stood in the center of the ring with their arms raised in victory, while the L.O.D. ly motionless and bleeding on the mat. Albano grabbed a house mic and said..." I'd like to introduce to you the newest member of the Mongol family........... BOLO!'" The sold out crowd booed wildly as the card came to an end.

Good card, Kevin! Can't wait to see who your champs turn out to be.
Did you make a bootleg for Bolo Mongol or are you just using Masked Superstar's card?
