People must be asking themselves, “Where's my wrestling?” The Legends Wrestling Federation has suffered financial collapse due to bad money management by employees of former owner Ted DiBiase. It seems the former Million Dollar Man put the day to day management in the hands of less than qualified individuals as he refocused on his wrestling career in the League itself.
Fear not wrestling fans. You are witnessing the dawn of the National Wrestling Alliance. A group of promoters have banded together to bring you wrestling on a grand scale. Each promoter will control a different territory. The primary territory will be based in the Mid Atlantic area and will be called National Wrestling Alliance: Legends of Wrestling.
The various promoters have bought the contracts of several LWF Wrestlers. The Road Warriors, Nick Bockwinkel, Curt Hennig, and Mil Mascaras, among others, will be back on your TV soon. We hope to bring more wrestlers, new and old, to you whenever possible.
As for the Championships, the NWA Board of Directors has decided to recognize the LWF's Title Lineages for the World, Tag, TV, and US Titles. Strictly speaking all NWA Titles will be new Championships with new belts. Title recognition and Championship status has been given to the last LWF Champions in each category, but to solidify their claim they will need to schedule immediate Title Defenses. In the case of the NWA International Title, the board has chosen not to continue recognizing that Title.
One important change is that the NWA World Heavyweight Championship will be defended in two out of three falls matches unless otherwise noted by the board. Mil Mascaras won a match to make him the number one contender to the LWF Title before the company ceased operations. We will honor that and Mascaras will meet NWA Champion The Crusher at The Great American Bash in July.
We hope to bring you all sorts of great action and the greatest wrestlers from around the world. Welcome to the National Wrestling Alliance

DiBiase comes out flanked by Williams at the start of the show. Virgil is already in the ring.
DiBiase: Well, I gave you time to think it over, Virgil. What’s your answer?
Virgil: I’m done taking orders form you, DiBiase.
DiBiase: Well then, you’ll have to answer to Dr. Death!
Virgil vs. Steve Williams: Virgil held on for a long time but Williams controlled the entire match. An OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE finally got Dr. Death the win. Card 139: NWA LOW Saturday Night from Orlando, Fl (June30th)
Dark Match Harker Dirge vs. Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan: Bockwinkel made quick work of the debuting Dirge and pinned him after a knee smash to the back.
Television Matches
After last weeks stunning loss, World Champion The Crusher must be worried about his upcoming Title Defense. We have a special bonus match that will see the Champion in action tonight, but Bobby Heenan has stated that he will get Bundy the first shot at whoever is Champion after The Great American Bash. Plus we have the debuts of two new wrestlers tonight!
King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan vs. Larry Sharpe: Bundy quickly hits an AVALANCHE and scores a 5 count. Heenan’s got the mic.
Heenan: You see what Bundy did to this unknown kid? He did the same to the World Heavyweight Champion last week. And he’ll do it again. I have secured a Title Match for Bundy at the first Clash of the Champions TV Special in August. Mascaras, Crusher, we don’t care. King Kong Bundy isn’t just a clever name. He’s a monster of legend. A behemoth who will scale to the top of the NWA and swat down challengers like flies. Anyone who gets in his way better be prepared, because there is no beauty that will stop this beast.
Ted DiBiase vs. Jim Brunzell: Brunzell started strong and almost got a quick win after a KILLER DROPKICK! But DiBiase fought back and eventually used a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to get the win.

United States Heavyweight Championship Match The Sheik with Abdullah Farouk vs. Jim Londos [C]: Science vs. Savagery as Londos used technical wrestling to stop The Sheik’s brutal assault. Surviving the CAMEL CLUTCH, weapon attacks, and interference by Farouk, Londos launched a great assault with several AIRPLANE SPINS! In the end it was the BOSTON CRAB that kept the Title around his waist.
World Tag Team Championship Match The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering vs. The Fabulous Kangaroos [C] with Red Berry: The Warriors were rolling but Animal got disqualified for putting Heffernan’s head into the guard rail. The Kangaroos remain Champions yet again.
Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship Match Mil Mascaras vs. The Crusher [C]: Both men get great fan reaction coming to the ring. The announcer reminds us that all World Heavyweight Title matches are now two out of three falls matches. Both men look ready. Your referee is Nick Patrick. He gives hi instructions and we are off.
First Fall: Crusher controlled the action in the first fall, and hit several CRUSHER BOLOS! Mascaras hit the occasional flurry but was mostly grounded by Crusher’s power. A surprise exchange ended with Mascaras applying the octopus hold and got the Champion to submit.
Second Fall: A quick fall. A fatigued Mascaras submitted to a stomach claw.
Third Fall: Another quick fall. Mascaras again went to the octopus hold and got the Champion to submit again. Mil Mascaras has become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion! The Crusher shakes his own head and then shakes Mascaras’ hand. The NWA Era is in full swing and our Champions are now set in place. Card 143: NWA LOW Saturday Night from Orlando, Fl (July 21st)
As we grow closer to the first Clash of The Champions in August the current roster keeps growing. We expect Number One Contenders to be named for the World Tag Team Champions in the next week or so. But tonight, on top of the NWA LOW debuts of Gorgeous George and The Sandman, we will have a Number One Contender’s Match for the United States Title.
Larry Sharpe vs. Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupree: George goes through his pre-match ritual. Cherie looks at Sharpe with disdain. George asks for a microphone.
Gorgeous George: I was told this was the premier territory in the new NWA. But who do I oppose on my first night here? A nobody. You are not Championship material, my boy. I will make your defeat quick, as my time is too important to waste on you.
After George’s bragging the match got underway. George dominated Sharpe, but when a brawl on the floor broke out Sharpe managed a disqualification win. The Gorgeous one was furious.
Animal with Paul Ellering vs. Don Muraco with Lou Albano: Muraco dominated the Road Warrior and managed a big win by HAWAIIAN HAMMER!
The Sandman vs. King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan: The debuting Sandman dominated the number one contender and scored a win after a HARDCORE DDT! Heenan was furious. Does this kill Bundy’s momentum?

World Television Championship Match Harker Dirge vs. Chris Candido with Tammy [C]: Dirge looked like he had the Title won with a DIRT NAP but Candido finally made it to the ropes. After Dirge dominated the early match Candido came back strong and beat the bloodsucker down. After a top rope hurracanranna Candido hooked the leg and retained the Title.
Number One Contender’s Match: United States Heavyweight Championship Buff Bagwell vs. Masked Superstar with Jim Cornette: A good back and forth match. Superstar maintained the advantage but a quick pin after a dropkick made Bagwell the number one contender.
Main Event: Non Title Match Al Costello with Red Berry vs. Mil Mascaras [C]: Costello dominated early, but the Champion rallied and won after a CROSSBODY ATTACK!

Cousin Luke vs. Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan: Nick got a quick win with a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER after a few minutes of action.

Card 145: NWA LOW Saturday Night from Orlando, Fl (August 4th)
Welcome to Saturday Night. We have a huge rematch tonight between Crusher and Koloff and it’s in the 15 foot high Steel Cage. Plus Inoki, Masked Superstar, and more.
Animal with Paul Ellering vs. Steve Williams: Animal dominated the early going but three OKLAHOMA STAMPEDES got Dr. Death the win.
Video Segment: Harker Dirge is in a dimly lit room somewhere in the arena.
Harker Dirge: I am the thing of your nightmares. I am Bloody Harker Dirge. I have tasted my first blood here in the NWA. But that is not enough. Bloody Harker Dirge wants more victims. Titles mean nothing to me, I’d rather just hurt people. People like Larry Sharpe. People like Koko B Ware. People like Danny Doring. I will haunt them all. I will prove to them that they do not belong here in the NWA’s premier territory. And you fans will weep for your fallen heroes. You will learn to worship Bloody Harker Dirge.
Tag Team Match The Killer Bees vs. The Valiant Brothers with Lou Albano: Jimmy pinned Brunzell after a SUPER ELBOW before Blair was ever tagged in.
Konnan vs. Larry Zbyszko: This is also a rematch from last week. Konnan dominated the whole match, but after a missed deathjump Zbyszko threw him to the floor and dove on him. Larry made it back in before the count and Konnan was counted out.
The Sheik with Abdullah Farouk vs. Antonio Inoki: Inoki dominated and controlled the match. Sheik put up a tough fight but went down after one of several ENZUIGIRIS!
Bob Armstrong vs. King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan: Bundy used two AVALANCHES to quickly put down Armstrong. Heenan grabbed a mic afterwards.
Heenan: This is what the NWA has in its future. Broken bodies. When my man Bundy beats you, Mil Mascaras, for the World Championship he will destroy anyone else who gets in his way. If Mascaras can’t stop this man, who can?
World Television Championship Match Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Chris Candido [C] with Tammy: Candido won a long hard match after a top rope Hurricanranna.
Masked Superstar with Jim Cornette vs. Sabu: Superstar methodically took Sabu apart and then pinned him after a flying bodypress. Now Cornette has a mic.
Jim Cornette: Bobby Heenan, I don’t know what strings you pulled to get Bundy a title shot. He’s beaten no one. The Superstar has beaten the best and he is the highest ranked non-champion in NWA LOW. You don’t deserve a shot. Masked Superstar does.
Masked Superstar: It really doesn’t matter, Jim. Mascaras, Bundy, whoever walks away Champion; I’ll beat them and become the top man around here. I’m not really even worried about it. Masked Superstar as a future World Heavyweight Champion is simply a fact of life.
Main Event: Cage Match The Crusher vs. Ivan Koloff: Koloff dominated most of the match, but Crusher came back and knocked him out with a CRUSHER BOLO before escaping the cage.

Card 146: NWA LOW Saturday Night from Orlando, Fl (August 11th)
We have some great action tonight. The United States Heavyweight Title is on the line. And that’s not all. World Television Champion Chris Candido will go one on one with World Heavyweight Champion Mil Mascaras in a special Champion vs. Champion match!
George South vs. Danny Doring: Doring put on a display of his best moves but was surprised when South got out of the DANACONDA! South missed a dive from the top, though, and Doring capitalized with a pin.
Koko B Ware vs. Harker Dirge: Dirge has said that he only cares about hurting people. In less than a minute he put Ware out with a DIRT NAP! The crowd isn’t sure what to make of this fanged warrior.
Virgil vs. Bobby Eaton with Jim Cornette: Virgil is making his return here tonight. Eaton should be a challenge for him. Eaton immediately got the advantage and used an ALABAMA JAM to score a win.
Texas Death Match Konnan vs. Larry Zbyszko: The third match in this series. We will get a clear winner tonight. Zbyszko dominated and took advantage of the no disqualification environment but a sit out face buster got Konnan the clean pin.

Masked Superstar with Jim Cornette vs. King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan: This match was made after the comments from both camps last week. Bundy’s Number One Contender’s Spot is safe but it will have to hurt him if he gives up a loss. Bundy and Superstar pretty much fought even. Toward the end Bundy hit the AVALANCHE over and over a total of 5 times, but Superstar kept kicking out. Bundy threw Superstar to the floor and managed a count out win. Was anything really decided here tonight?

Main Event: Champion vs. Champion Non-Title Match Chris Candido with Tammy vs. Mil Mascaras: Mascaras offered his hand to Candido, but the TV Champion just mocked him. But he would soon be taping out to a bow and arrow from the World Champion.

Jim Brunzell vs. Stan Lane with Jim Cornette: A decent back and forth opener. Lane wins his first ever singles match with a SUPERKICK!
Danny Doring vs. Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupree: George at first refused to wrestle such a lowly opponent. Doring then grabbed a mic and started hitting on Cherie, saying he was much more man than George. The match then kicked off and George got a quick pin with a handful of tights.
Video Segment: We see Harley Race training and we hear him in a voice over. I’m a two time United States Champion. I’m a two time World Heavyweight Champion. There isn’t anyone in this business that can match me in that ring. I am mister wrestling. I am the king of the ring. Mascaras, Londos, hold on to your Titles while you can. Harley Race is coming to the NWA.
Antonio Inoki vs. Don Muraco with Lou Albano: A fast paced, hard hitting match. Both men hit their big moves repeatedly. It was finally an ENZUIGIRI from Inoki that put Muraco down for the count.
B. Brian Blair vs. Bob Orton Sr.: Orton put together a hard series of moves to put Blair down without ever using his finisher.

World Tag Team Championship Match The Valiant Brothers with Lou Albano vs. The Fabulous Kangaroos [C] with Red Berry: The double teaming Kangaroos never let up on Jimmy and despite Johnny and Albano trying to make saves Costello had pinned Jimmy in less than 3 minutes. These Kangaroos have been unstoppable.
Konnan vs. Steve Williams: A grueling match between the technical Konnan and the powerhouse Williams. Both men controlled parts of the match and took a beating, but Konnan took the win with a TEQUILA SUNRISE!
The Crusher vs. Rick Rude with Bobby Heenan: A long back and forth spectacle. Rude and Crusher both had each other’s number. The two stole the crowd’s hearts with a 4 star match that ended only when Rude was counted out of the ring. Both men received a standing ovation.
Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship Match King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan vs. Mil Mascaras [C]: Bundy comes to the ring first with Bobby Heenan. He is showered with both boos and bits of trash. He makes several threats to fans on his way to the ring. His massive size is apparent as he moves through the sea of humanity. He gets in the ring and roars like a monster.
The lights go out and the crowd erupts as Jigsaw’s “Sky High” blares through the arena. Mascaras bounds through the curtain to thunderous applause. Draped in a flowing cloak and carrying the World Heavyweight Title Belt, the heroic warrior runs to the ring and slides in. The fans cheer as he climbs the corner and holds the title up. The house lights come back up and both men go to their corners.
Gary Michael Cappetta: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the main event of the evening two out of three falls for the Heavyweight Championship of the World. The time limit is one hour and the referee in charge of the action is Mr. Nick Patrick.
Introducing first: the challenger, he is managed by Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. Fighting out of Atlantic City, New Jersey he weighed in tonight at 446 pounds. His professional record: 19 wins, 21 losses and 1 draw. He has held no titles and this is his first major title opportunity. Ladies and Gentlemen: King Kong Bundy!
And his opponent: from San Luis Potosi in Mexico. He weighed in at 245 pounds. His record stands at 36 wins and 16 losses. He is a former World Television Champion and is the current reigning and defending Heavyweight Champion of the World. The man of a thousand masks: Mil Mascaras!
Fall one: Mascaras offers his hand to the challenger and Bundy simply roars in his face. The two tie up and jockey for position, the both break off after neither gains an advantage. They tie up again and Bundy takes control. He puts on a simple arm lock and controls the champion. Bundy uses his weight to push Mascaras back to the ropes. Bundy shifts to a front facelock, but Mascaras slips free and drops the challenger with a double leg trip. The crowd laughs as Mascaras circles an angry giant. Mascaras goes to the apron and catches Bundy with a slingshot plancha as he gets to his feet. Both men up and Mascaras connects with a vertical suplex. Bundy is reeling and Mascaras hits another slingshot plancha. He tries for a rolling head scissors but Bundy throws him off. Forearm smash by Bundy but Mascaras blocks it. Mascaras goes deep for an arm drag but can’t get Bundy over and is hammered down buy a clubbing punch. Bundy tries an eye gouge through the mask. He picks up the stunned Champion and connects with a huge running power slam. Mascaras receives a punch to the head as he gets up. Bundy tries another armlock and Mascaras slips away. A drop toehold takedown and Mascaras locks in an Indian Deathlock. Bundy is screaming. Mascaras lets it go, climbs up top, and connects with a FLYING BODYPRESS! 1… 2… 3! An easy first fall for the Champion. Heenan is screaming for Bundy to keep his head on straight.
Fall two: Mascaras hits a standing dropkick to start the second fall. He tries a vertical suplex but Bundy shoves him off and hits a forearm. And eye gouge through the mask stuns Mascaras. Bundy slams Mascaras down and goes up for an elbow drop off the ropes. A cover, 1… the Champion kicks out. Bundy plants Mascaras in the corner; AVALANCHE! 1… Mascaras kicks out again. Bundy’s staying focused. Power drop on the Champion. Now Bundy stomps his head while he’s down. A running powerslam by Bundy now but the Champions won’t stay down. Bundy throws a punch, Mascaras blocks and fires back. A series of punches by Mil Mascaras. Bundy is reeling. Mascaras goes to the apron and slingshots back into Bundy with a plancha. Bow and arrow by the Champion now, Heenan is screaming for Bundy not to quit. Mascaras lets him loose. Throw to the ropes, CROSSBODY ATTACK by Mil! 1… 2… Bundy just makes it out. Mascaras goes for the Indian deathlock and works the legs of the challenger for a bit. Now Mascaras connects with the vertical suplex. He tries another, Bundy shifts and hooks a headlock, starts to run for a bulldog, Mascaras throws him off, Bundy turns around and Mascaras takes him down with a rolling head scissors. What an exchange. Bundy catches another plancha. A cover… 1… 2… Bundy’s back up. Mascaras starts moving, Bundy swings and misses with a clothesline, Mascaras hooks him with an octopus hold. He works the Challenger’s massive body and then throws him to the ropes. CROSSBODY ATTACK! Heenan’s up on the apron. The referee is arguing with Heenan, but Mascaras easily had the fall there. Mascaras hooks a standing surfboard and tries for the submission but Bundy won’t give. A vertical suplex, a deep armdrag; the champion is pouring on the moves. Another suplex attempt, Bundy throws him off, both men hit the ropes and Bundy nails a shoulder block. Punch to the head of the Champion. Another running power slam. Now an elbow drop off the ropes. A backbreaker now, Bundy is hitting everything he can. He holds on and now another backbreaker. Mascaras stands up into a punch and then takes another running powerslam. Bundy tries to stomp at Mascaras but the Champion pulls his leg out and Bundy goes down like a felled oak. Bundy blocks an armdrag. Mascaras blocks a punch. Two more planchas from Mascaras, what will it take to keep one of these men down. Bundy blocks another armdrag. He tries a shoulder block and Mil sidesteps again and locks on the octopus. Another plancha. Another rolling head scissors. Another, but no it’s blocked. Bundy misses another clothesline, drop toehold by the Champion, and another Indian deathlock. Mascaras again goes to the apron, he’s eyeing Bundy, another plancha, the leg is hooked, 1… 2… 3! Mascaras retains. Bundy’s quest for the title has ended in defeat. The crowd is ecstatic and Mascaras holds up the belt. That’s all from Georgia folks, Mascaras is still your World Champion.

Card 149: NWA LOW NWA LOW Saturday Night from Orlando, Fl (August 25th)
A lot of returns tonight. The NWA has announced that they are now considering sanctioning a Junior Heavyweight Championship. Fans of the old LOW know that Danny Hodge and other had been pushing for this. The League has told Hodge and others to prove that such a title should be showcased and they will create it. Tonight, several Junior Heavyweights have challenged Heavyweights to show what they can do.
Iron Mike DiBiase vs. Harker Dirge: Dirge controlled the match with his power. The returning Iron Mike rallied and used two TOP ROPE KNEE DROPS to set up a sleeper and put the bloodsucker to sleep.
Danny Hodge vs. Steve Williams: Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma. Hodge was here to prove a point, and he did it. The larger Williams had almost no offence and was worn down by ground holds before being pinned after a standing dropkick. The Juniors are 2-0!
Danny Doring vs. Bob Orton Sr.: Two atomic drops gave Orton the win and made Doring the first Junior Heavyweight to lose tonight.
Virgil vs. Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupree: George rallied against Virgil’s power and dissected the bigger man. A crossbody from the top rope got George, and the Juniors, the win.
Tag Team Match Red Bastein & Billy Lyons vs. The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette: Bastein quickly beat Eaton with an ATOMIC DROP before any tags were made.
The Crusher vs. Ed Lewis: Ed Lewis returns much more aggressive than we have seen him in the past. He brutalized Crusher and used his STRANGLER’S HEADLOCK to wear the former World Champion down and get the win. Afterward, he grabbed a microphone.
Ed Lewis: I’ve been wrestling in the LWF and now NWA for some time now. I’ve always played it square, and where has it gotten me. You’ve embraced that embarrassing pretty boy, Jim Londos, and overlooked my skill. So now I’m going to use more than my skill. I’ll be the United States Heavyweight Champion by year’s end, and God help anyone who gets in my way.
World Television Championship Match Curt Hennig vs. Konnan [C]: A great back and forth match. Hennig finally hit the HENNIG PLEX and took Konnan’s Television Title.
After the commercial Hennig returns to the Heenan Family locker room to show off his newly won Title. He is congratulated by Bundy and Rude, but Heenan and Bockwinkel just walk past him on their way to the ring.
Main Event Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan vs. Antonio Inoki: Heenan was stunned when Inoki locked on a bow and arrow and his man almost immediately tapped out. The show ended with Heenan berating a stunned Bockwinkel in the center of the ring.

Iron Sheik vs. Cousin Luke: Sheik made his return and easily won with a Boston Crab.

Iron Mike DiBiase vs. Chris Candido with Tammy: Candido looks primed to make an impact in a Junior Heavyweight match. His recent TV Title run was solid; he may be the man to watch in the proposed new division. The match was a technical back and forth until it spilled to the floor. After a brawl erupted Candido was disqualified. He won’t advance in an Junior Title position that way.
Ed Lewis vs. Diamond Dallas Page: Lewis quickly put Page away with a full nelson, threw him to the ground, and left without fanfare.
Danny Hodge vs. Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupree: Hodge steamrolled George for a quick win by OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL! George can’t seem to cut a break against Hodge.

We have the World Tag Team Championship on the line for you tonight.
Danny Doring vs. Savage-T with KJ Hill: This has the makings of a big feud. We understand KJ Hill has been seen spending time with The Dastardly One, and Savage-T is less than happy about it. Doring controlled most of the match, but Savage-T rallied and won with a figure-four. Hill did not get involved, leaving her allegiance in question.
Cousin Luke vs. George South: South scored a win with a crossbody off the top.
Ed Lewis vs. Virgil: Virgil held his own, but went down to the STRANGLER’S HEADLOCK!
Iron Mike DiBiase vs. Chris Candido with Tammy: Candido scored a quick win in this rematch with a BLONDE BOMB!
World Television Championship Match Konnan vs. Curt Hennig [C]: Hennig controlled the early match but after a missed dive from the top it was all Konnan. He recaptured the TV Title with a TEQUILA SUNRISE!
Iron Sheik vs. Antonino Rocca: Rocca dominated in his return and got a submission win by the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER!!
Backstage Interview: The Road Warriors
Bill Apter: Bill Apter here with World Tag Team Championship Contenders the Road Warriors and their manager Paul Ellering. Gentlemen, you’ve had several shots at the Kangaroos but haven’t been able to secure a win. You once dominated the Tag Division and continue to do so save for the Champions from Australia. What’s your mindset for tonight?
Animal: Yeah, it’s true. Those Kangaroos have been tough opponents. That’s ok. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. For a long time we couldn’t be touched in tag team wrestling. These Kangaroos came in and have stayed ahead of us. We welcome the challenge. Tonight’s our night. I’m gonna chew em up and spit em out. My brother and I are gonna break bones, tear flesh, and make em spit teeth. And when we beat em from corner to corner than The Road Warriors will be the top of the food chain again. Tell em Hawk!
Hawk: Well, I see things like this. The gods of wrestling have given us a gift. That gift is The Fabulous Kangaroos. Thank you, wrestling gods, you’ve given the greatest tag team in wrestling the instrument to better themselves. Finally a challenge that needs to be conquered, a new mountain to climb, and two new pukes to destroy. Roos, we’re coming for our belts. I hope you’re affairs are order, we’ll be happy to notify your next of kin. Oh what a rush.
Ellering: Boys, we come back winners or not at all. To the ring.
World Tag Team Championship Match The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering vs. The Fabulous Kangaroos [C] with Red Berry: Once again the Kangaroos dominated The Road Warriors. After a second BOOMERANG Animal was pinned by Heffernan. The Road warriors are devastated by the loss.
Main Event Antonio Inoki vs. Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan: Bockwinkel got a quick win by BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER! Afterwards Bockwinkel grabs a chair and prepares to do some damage on Inoki. Coming to Inoki’s aid from the back is the returning Rikidozan and Giant Baba, and two masked Junior Heavyweights we are told are called Tiger Mask and Jushin “Thunder” Liger. The Juniors knock down and then chase Heenan from the ring area and the two big men enter the ring and stand over the fallen Inoki to shield him. This must be Inoki’s help that he talked of bringing in.

Card 152: NWA LOW NWA LOW Saturday Night from Orlando, Fl (September 15th)
The show opens with Heenan in the locker room among former Heenan Family members. He is irate after being attacked by Inoki’s new group last week. He says the Heenan Family must band together to fight this new threat. Hennig demands that Heenan explain what he can do for them, as he has been more interested in Bockwinkel than anyone else lately. Heenan says he’s bringing more guys in, that he has taken on Candido to take out the Juniors, and that he will make sure he does right by all current Family members. It starts tonight, because he managed to secure Curt Hennig a United States Title Match.
Ed Lewis vs. George South: Lewis had a hard time putting South away, but eventually won with a STRANGLER’S HEADLOCK!
Jushin Liger vs. Stan Lane with Jim Cornette: Our first real look at Jushin Liger after his startling appearance last week. He strides to the ring in a cape and prepares to take on another man who has thrown his hat into the Junior Heavyweight Division, Stan Lane. Liger controlled the match and won after a shoda (palm strike) that put Lane out.
Chris Candido with Tammy & Bobby Heenan vs. Tiger Mask: Tiger Mask also comes to the ring to much fanfare in his cape. He wasn’t working by the hour, though. He let loose a few moves and then stunned Candido with a piledriver for the win in less than 30 seconds. Heenan was furious.
World Television Title Match Konnan [C] vs. Bob Orton Sr.: Konnan was disqualified for attacking Orton in the ropes.
Rick Rude with Bobby Heenan vs. Giant Baba: Rude was on fire against the former World Heavyweight Champion but a simple boot to the face stopped him cold. Heenan’s Family is 0-2 so far tonight.
Tag Team Non Title Match The Fabulous Kangaroos [C] with Red Berry vs. The James Gang: After once again silencing the Road Warriors, The Kangaroos take on the debuting James Gang tonight. This new team seems quite colorful as B.G. James introduces them as the future “NWA: LOW Tag Team Champions of the World” but they face a tough challenge in their debut.
The James Gang shocked the world. Kip never tagged in and B.G. took amazing punishment, but pinned Heffernan after a PUMP HANDLE SLAM!
Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan vs. Rikidozan: Bockwinkel came for war. He and Rikidozan had an amazing 5 star match where both men tore into the other. After Heenan distracted the referee from counting Nick down from the THUNDEROUS CHOPS, Bockwinkel fought back and secured the win by BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER! Heenan celebrated in the ring and the first bit of damage has been done to Inoki’s super group.
Main Event: United States Heavyweight Championship Match Curt Hennig with Bobby Heenan vs. Jim Londos [C]: Hennig steamrolled the Champion to become the first man to hold all recognized Heavyweight Single’s Titles. Heenan ended his night on a high note as the Heenan Family came to the ring to celebrate Curt’s victory.

The two teams had a classic back and forth match. After lots of double team moves Kip finally pinned Eaton after a STANDING LEG DROP!
Main Event: World Heavyweight Championship Match Masked Superstar with Jim Cornette vs. Mil Mascaras [C]: The commission ruled that this be a one fall match for TV time restraints. We’d also like to announce that the NWA promoters are working on a deal to feature all major talent on a national basis. We were happy to bring wrestling back into your home after the fall of the LWF, but you have asked for a national promotion and we are working on bringing it to you.
The match was a good back and forth affair. Mascaras dominated, but Superstar proved his toughness. Mascaras finally won by a slingshot plancha.
