LWF Fury Episode 43: The Kangaroos easily defeated the Samoan Island Tribe with a Boomerang on Samu to open the show. The Kangaroos are slated to meet the Road Warriors for the first time at Battleground.
Sabu lost by DQ to Jushin Liger after an Arabian Facebuster. Liger will meet Tiger Mask in the finals of the Junior Heavyweight title tournament but things aren't finished between him and Sabu.
Pepper Gomez beat George South with the Mexican Cradle
Larry Hennig lost to B.G. James after the Pump Handle Slam
Mil Mascaras lost to Ox Baker via the heart punch. Mil had to be stretchered out and someone else will have to take his spot at Battleground against Killer Kowalski
Bobo Brazil beat Johnny Valentine with the Coco Butt
Crusher lost to Rick Rude after the Rude Awakening in a close match

Curt Hennig vs. George South: Curt Hennig quickly defeated George South, winning with the HennigPlex.
Strangler Lewis vs. Larry Sharpe: The Strangler beat Larry Sharpe in a vicious display, winning with the Strangler's Headlock.
Feature matches: The Vachons vs. The Samoan Island Tribe: The Samoan Island Tribe achieved their first victory in the LWF, winning with a Samoan Dop on Mad Dog.

United States: Antonino Rocca vs. Killer Kowalski: Killer Kowalski beat Antonino Rocca with the Kowalski Claw to win the title.
LWF Heavyweight: Buddy Rogers vs. Rick Rude in a Last Man Standing Match : In an amazing match that saw both men take tremendous punishment, RIck Rude beat Buddy Rogers with a Rude Awakening to win the LWF Heayweight title. Both men were 1 token away from defeat when Rude made a comeback and Rogers was too battered to fend him off.
The PPV went off the air with a bloody Rude standing over an equally bloody Buddy Rogers, gyrating his hips while wearing the LWF Heavyweight title.

LWF Fury Episode 50 Preview: Johnny Valentine is determined to prove he still has what it takes and intends to start with the upstart Harker Dirge. Dirge isn't afraid of the wiley veteran and promises to use him as a stepping stone. Who will emerge victorious?
Fresh from a victory over Ox Baker, Mil Mascaras takes on old rival Ivan Koloff. With the power vacuum created by Buddy Roger's re-injury at the hands of Rick Rude, this match will mean a lot in the eyes of the LWF championship committee.
According to Paul Ellering, the Road Warriors were cheated out of the LWF Tag Team titles at LWF Doomsday and demand a rematch. What stipulation will champs Ted DiBiase and Steve Williams demand in exchange for another title shot? And with Bob Orton AWOL and Buddy Rogers out for the foreseeable future, who will come to their aid if the rest of the Legion of Doom, Rude and Kowalksi, decide to interfere?

LWF Fury Episode 50
The show opened with Paul Ellering and the Legion of Doom in the ring. Rude & Kowalski proudly dispayed their newly won belts. Ellering demanded the Road Warriors be given a return match for the LWF Tag Team titles. This brought out the tag champs, who agreed to give the Road Warriors a rematch in exchange for shots at Rude & Kowalski's belts next week. Ellering agreed.
Race & Hennig defeated the Samoan Island Tribe after an Axe on Alofa. Race & Hennig challenged the winners of tonight's tag team title main event to face them at the next PPV for the LWF Tag Team titles.
Crusher defeated Larry Sharpe with the Crusher Bolo.
Johnny Valentine made good on his promise and defeated Harker Dirge with the Forearm Bludgeon. Afterwards, he got on the mic and announced he signed an open contract for next week.
Pepper Gomez lost to Ox Baker by DQ in a wild brawl.
Jim Londos beat Don Muraco, making a timely comeback and winning with the Boston Crab.
Mil Mascaras beat Ivan Koloff by DQ after the Masked Superstar interfered. Koloff, Mascaras, and Masked Superstar brawled all over the ring area until security arrived.
In the main event, Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase (accompanied by Jim Londos & Don Leo Jonathan) lost to the Road Warriors (with Rude & Kowalski) after four Doomsdady Devices on DiBiase. The Road Warriors won the belts in a match rife with interference. The show went off the air with the Legion of Doom hoisting their belts in the air as Londos, Williams, and DLJ helped DiBiase from the ringside area.

LWF Fury Episode 51 Preview: Johnny Valentine has issued an open challenge in a bid to prove he still has what it takes. Who will answer the challenge?
Last episode, Pepper Gomez was disqualified for brawling outside the ring with Ox Baker. Gomez and Baker have unfinished business. Will it be settled this week or will last week's match prove to be the start of a war?
Last week, Masked Superstar intefered in a match between Ivan Koloff and Mil Mascaras, getting Koloff disqualified. Mil Mascaras requested a match with Superstar and it was granted, but will the Russian Bear make an appearance?
Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams lost the tag team titles last week, but this week they both havve shots at singles gold. Will we see new champions?
All this and more, including Don Leo Jonathan and Race & Hennig!

Johnny Valentine is good but gets lost in the shuffle for me. I'm hoping to use this angle as a stepping stone to a title shot. As for DLJ, I used to not give him much attention but I had to take notice afer he beat Rikidozan in back to back matches.

well, Valentine and DLJ certainly get lost in the shuffle these days... but having played with these guys extensively back when all we had was Legends and Legends Rematch, I still root for both of them.

LWF Fury Episode 51: match announcements for LWF Desperation - Harley Race & Larry Hennig will get a shot at the LWF Tag Team titles - Don Leo Jonathan will get a shot at the United States title - Jim Londos will receive a shot at the LWF Heavyweight title
The Killer Bees lost in decisive fashion to Harley Race & Larry Hennig after a Piledriver on Brunzell. Race & Hennig looked especially vicious.
Don Leo Jonathan beat the Missing Link by DQ after Killer Kowalski held DLJ outside the ring and Link blasted him with a chairshot.
Johnny Valentine called out his mystery opponent, who turned out to be Angelo Mosca. Valentine attacked Mosca before the bell. Mosca was no pushover, but fell after seven Atomic Skullcrushers.
Pepper Gomez beat Ox Baker in a wild brawl, winning with the Mexican Cradle. After the match, Ox Baker and King Kong Bundy double teamed Gomez, leaving him battered and unconscious after a heart punch and several big splashes.
Mil Mascaras lost to the Masked Superstar via the Cobra Hold. Ivan Koloff interfered on Mascaras' behalf, but Superstar overcame and won after several applications of the dreaded Cobra Hold.
In his first United States title defense, Killer Kowalski beat Ted DiBiase in decisive fashion with the backbreaker. DiBIase was visibly favoring his neck before the match, possibly as a result of last week's battle with the Road Warriors.
In his first LWF Heayvweight title match, Rick Rude beat Steve Williams with the Rude Awakening to retain. Despite being mauled and bloodied by Willaims for a majority of the match, Rude was able to make a comeback and score the victory.
