Harker Dirge debuted with a victory over Savage T by submission to the Dirt Nap. The match went back and forth with Savage T actually knocking Dirge down several times. However, Dirge reclaimed the advantage and finished his opponent off at about the five-minute mark.
Savage T entered GM Shon Maxx's office.
Shon: “Hey, Travis, not a bad debut.”
Savage T: “Thanks, so when do I get paid?”
Shon: “That's what I wanted to tell you. According to the terms of the contract you helped put together, when you were saying, 'Pin me/pay me,' you only get paid if you win or lose by pinfall.”
Savage T: “Very funny.”
Shon: “Sorry, but I'm serious.”
Savage T: “What? (rushes over and looks over his contract) Why didn't you tell me?”
Shon: “I tried, but you wouldn't listen. If you win a match or lose by pinfall, you get paid, otherwise...well...sorry, but it's out of my hands.”
Savage T grumbled and stormed out.
The SAGA continues...

Savage T vs. Ox Baker
Sav walked up and shoved the big man, who floored him with a clothesline. Ox then went to work, tossing the Savage one from corner to corner. Sav finally made a comeback, but he was stopped by a low kick and piledriver. Ox then picked Savage T up and signaled for the Heart Punch.
Sav knew what was coming, and it could only end in a paying loss.
BAM! Sav went flying and he blacked out. After a few seconds, he could only see arena lights, and he barely heard the crowd. He waited for the 3-count, but only heard the bell. He started to come to and found himself on the floor. Ox Baker stood in the ring, jabbering exictedly with Captain Lou Albano as the decision was announced.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner...by Count Out...Ox Baker!"
Another match, another no-pay day for Savage T.
(By the way, earlier that night, Harker Dirge was pinned by Danny Doring. Not a good night for the new guys at all..)

Damn, this is going worse than Game Boyz! I can't believe you said that! LOL..I meant to actually say "Damn, this is going worse than Game Boyz!" BA-BA-ZING! The Kofi/Benjamin match was chock full of blown spots and just looked very sloppy. The rednecks behind me (who have not a clue what work-rate means) were complaining about it looking bad. I turned around and told mft and his wife to keep it down! (Ba-zing!) Turd! ;D

Savage T vs. Bruiser Brody
Hating life was an understatement. Savage T had wrestled in SAGA for nearly a month, but had not received a paycheck yet. Sure, the GM Shon Maxx had paid him for a few odd jobs just so he'd get something, but at this point, he was wrestling for free. But tonight, that would all change.
Bruiser Brody was already in the ring, yelling at the crowd while his manager, Captain Lou Albano shouted orders. Savage T entered the ring and laid down right in the center of the ring. The bell rang, but Brody looked down at his prone opponent in confusion. Savage shouted for Brody to cover him, but Brody still had no idea what to do. His opponents usually either attacked or ran. He looked to Albano for instructions, but the Captain merely shrugged his shoulders.
Savage kept shouting to Brody to pin him, but Brody was beyond understanding. Finally, the Savage one leaped to his feet, cursed out Brody, and slapped him in the face before lying down again.
It did not have the intended effect.
Brody roared in fury, bounced off the ropes, and nailed the Jumping Knee Drop. He got up and then hit it again...and again...and again! By the time the referee pulled Brody off and called for the bell, Savage T was a bloody, unconscious mess. But at least he got his pinfall loss...right?
"Here is your winner, by Referee Stoppage...Bruiser Brody!"
Sorry, Sav...

I'm wanting to know what these "odd jobs" are?

You know, I never really thought about them (the odd jobs). I just wanted to have Shon trying to help him in some way. Use your imagination, but FYI; Shon's a nice guy, but he's got an evil sense of humor.
Take care,
Jay

Savage T vs. Danny Hodge
Savage T approached Danny Hodge in the back.
Sav: "Hey, Danny, can I talk with you for a minute?"
Hodge: "Sure, what is it?"
Sav: "Well, we have a match tonight, and I was wondering if you'd do me a favor?"
Hodge: "A favor...?"
Sav: "Nothing major. But you're supposed to be a clean, pure wrestler. I just want to to beat me by pinfall, no submissions or anything like that. Do whatever else you want, but just beat me by pinfall."
Hodge: "All right, but I need you to do something for me. Shon agreed to give me a Cruisweight Title shot if I impress him. So I need to do that tonight. Which means I need you to not lie down for me. Give me a competitive match and I'll give you your pin. Agreed?"
Sav: "You got it, thanks."
--------------------
The match began with the two locking up, and Hodge bringing Sav to the mat several times. Sav got up but walked right into a dropkick which sent him to the floor. The referee began the count, but Hodge stopped him, allowing Sav to get back into the ring. Sav finally made a come-back when Hodge missed a turnbuckle charge. He took Hodge to the mat and hit neckbreaker. He went for a clothesline, but Hodge ducked and rolled Sav into a Boston Crab. The referee went to check to see if Sav would submit, but Hodge broke the hold early.
Hodge then rolled Sav up in the Oklahoma Roll, and Sav awaited the referee's count:
1...2..------
Hodge had broken the pinfall at the referee's orders because one of Sav's feet had touched the ropes. Hodge hit the move again, but again, Sav's foot hit the ropes, causing the ref to stop his count.
Furious, Sav got up and shoved the referee, arguing about the constantly-stopped pins. The referee then spun around and rang the bell.
Winner: Danny Hodge by Disqualification.

LOL...I thought Hodge was going to break Savage T's hand with his "Iron Vise" handshake
If you don't know the story, Hodge has the most powerful hands in wrestling....
