GWF War Zone: Friday, January 20th, 2119 Deimos Intergalactic Arena – Deimos, Mars
Interplanetary Championship Tournament – Opening Round
Bloodline**** (w/Lorelei) vs. Sly Drury**** (w/Thantos) Sly Drury won with a knee breaker at 32:44 - ****¾
In the Arena: Thantos mocked Bloodline after the match. "You're a loser," he said, "just like your father." Bloodline angrily got into his face and started to jaw with him, but Sly Drury hit him from the side with a LAST CALL and took him down. Encubus ran down next and the three started to lay into Bloodline with triple-team stomps, but Payback ran down and cleared the ring with a steel chair to make the save for Bloodline.
Payback* (w/Lorelei) vs. Swarm** (w/She Devil) Payback won with an EXVENGE (+2) at 11:00 - **
Kill Prey** (w/Vin Strutter) vs. American Guy**** (w/Latasha) Kill Prey won with an AMBUSH! (+5) at 18:52 - ****¼
Valour vs. Tanck (w/Thantos) Tanck won by disqualification at 1:15 - DUD
Backstage: Paralyze walked into the Commisioner's office, and rudely asked what Massif wanted. "I'm not suspending you," Massif said, "This time. But that's only because of Strutter's interference. Mann's going to be gone for two months, though, and that's still your fault. If I have to have one more of our wrestlers go out of here on a stretcher because of you, you're going to be right behind him. Understand me?"
Paralyze said, "Whatever. I'll see what I can do. I'd suggest you invest in wrestlers with stronger necks, though." The big Gladiator laughed as he turned and walked out of the office.
Nova Championship Tournament – Opening Round
Reckless* vs. US Male (w/Latasha) US Male won with a PATRIOT MISSILE at 1:54 - *¼
Tristan (w/Lorelei) vs. The Betrayer**** (w/Thantos) Tristan won with a Thunder Fire Driver at 5:49 - **¼
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament – Opening Round
Havoc and Paralyze* vs. AniMen Invasion***/* (w/She Devil) Paralyze pinned Minotaur after an AETHRAN ATROCITY at 15:51 - ***½
Genesis***** vs. The Colonizers* Tauran defeated Slave Beast with a TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER at 9:12 - ***¼
Match Notes: The Colonizers worked over Anivar early, wearing him down with big moves and a couple of nearfalls. They had him easiliy beaten after a SECOND REIGN, but Disaster ran down and caused a ruckus to distract the referee. The referee ordered Disaster from ringside, and shortly after made a hot tag to Tauran, who quickly beat down and submitted Slave Beast to win.
In the Arena: As soon as the match ended, Disaster ran back down the aisle to go after the Colonizers, but Slave Beast and Epoch beat a hasty retreat. As they passed the announcers' table, Slave Beast grabbed a microphone. "You're pathetic, Disaster! You can't beat the one and only Epoch!"
Epoch then ripped the microphone from Slave Beast's hands. "He's right," Epoch snarled, "because you're not getting the chance. Next week, you're facing Slave Beast!" The AniMan slave gulped and Disaster wrung his hands together as a broad, twisted smile crept across his face to close the show.

GWF WarZone: Friday, January 27th, 2119 Deimos Intergalactic Arena – Deimos, Mars
Disaster vs. Slave Beast Disaster won with a Gladiator Piledriver at 6:43 - *
Interplanetary Championship Tournament - Semifinals
Sly Drury**** (w/Thantos) vs. Payback********** (w/Lorelei) Sly Drury won by disqualification at 23:20 - ****¼
Match Notes: Payback brought out all of the stops in this match, doing as much damage to himself as Drury did. The referee got knocked out after a Sly Drury deathjump, and Drury hit Payback with his finisher twice while the referee was out. A new official finally came down as Drury missed another LAST CALL, and Payback hit him with a pump handle slam that sent him out of the ring. Payback grabbed a chair and hit a quebrada with the chair onto Drury on the outside, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
Kill Prey**** (w/Vin Strutter) vs. Tanck***** (w/Thantos) Kill Prey won with a Falling Net at 21:04 - ****½
Backstage: Bloodline cut a promo backstage. "All that time you chose me over Encubus, Thantos," Bloodline asked, "why was that? Was it because I was a loser and your son was such a winner? Or was it because I was the better man? Wait, don't answer that ... at least not until he's left the room. We all know who was better back then, and we know who's better today. So come New Beginnings, why don't we show the galaxy who's better? Bloodline and Encubus, one-on-one, two out of three falls.
"You were right, Thantos, I am just like my father. He beat you from one corner of this galaxy to the other. Now I'm going to do the same thing to your son."
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Tournament - Semifinals
The Troubleshooters***/**** vs. The Fighting Titans***/**** Muss defeated Tristan by disqualfication at 14:38 - *** Match Notes: Despite the punishment that Payback took in his first match of the night, he continued his reckless ways here, doing severe damage to himself to put Muss through a table at ringside. With Payback out of the equation after this move, Muss recovevred and he and his partner took over on Tristan, wearing him down and then hitting him with TROUBLE TIMES TWO. Muss went for the cover, but Payback used what energy he had left to smack Muss with a chairshot for the disqualification loss.
In the Arena: Payback collapsed in the ring after the match, and a medical team quickly came out to tend to him. He was clutching his ribs in pain, and the medics did the best they could to help him out of the ring and back up the ramp.
Backstage: The camera was zoomed in on Steele Freak, who was frantically trying to escape from a cage. The camera zoomed out to reveal Vin Strutter standing by with a microphone in hand. "Every event is enhanced by more of The Greatest Show in the Galaxy," he proclaimed, "so I'm here to issue a challenge on behalf of my freak. New Beginnings will feature one of the most shocking beginnings of all; the ring will be surrounded by a Cosmic Cage, and Steele Freak will be waiting inside of it for any one of those filthy AniMen who is willing to face him. One of those beasts will be where he belongs for once, in a cage, and Steele Freak will teach him the folly of refusing my generous offer to join my show, won't you?" Steele Freak screamed maniacally and started to pound his head against the bars to answer Strutter's query before the feed switched back to the ring.
Havoc and Paralyze vs. Genesis Anivar defeated Havoc by disqualification at 4:27 - DUD
Galaxian Championship Tournament - Semifinals
Endgame vs. Havoc Havoc won by disqualification at 4:28 - *¾
Match Notes: Havoc and Endgame brawled on the outside of the ring, with Havoc easily getting the better of the exchange. Switchblade suddenly appeared from out of the crowd, though, hitting Havoc with a missile dropkick from off of the guardrail then pounding him with fists while he was down. Endgame pulled Switchblade off of Havoc as the referee called for the disqualification and demanded and explanation. Switchblade's answer was a lightning quick dropkick that sent Endgame down to the ground, then he stormed back up the ramp.
Epoch********* (w/Slave Beast) vs. Paralyze (w/Disaster) Paralyze won with a High Tension at 26:51 - ***½
Match Notes: Paralyze pummled Epoch with high impact moves in this match, always opting for more punishment over the pinfall. Every time that Epoch tried to roll out of the ring for some relief, Disaster assaulted him and drove him back into the ring. Paralyze had Epoch pinned after a Gladiator Piledriver, but Slave Beast distracted the referee. Disaster chased Slave Beast away, and then Paralyze put the badly beaten Epoch away.
In the Arena: As soon as the bell rang, Disaster ran back down to the ring from chasing away Slave Beast, this time with Havoc and Thrash in tow. The four Gladiators stood Epoch in a corner and took turns pounding him with forearms, punches, and kicks. Disaster finally pulled Epoch out into the middle of the ring and nailed him with a RAMPAGE. Thrash then pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket and handed it to Disaster, which he unfolded to reveal as a contract. He kicked Epoch over with his foot and covered his face with the contract. As Disaster stooped over to verbally berate Epoch, Havoc and Paralyze eyed one another in the ring. The two exchanged a wary glance, knowing that they would meet in the main event at New Beginnings for the Galaxian Championship.

I could not have been much happier with Paralyze and Havoc in the finals. I'm an acknowledged Paralyze mark, because anyone who cripples my favorite wrestler has to be pretty bad, so I was hoping he'd do well. But to have him in there against his partner is perfect. The only way I could have been happier with this is if Havoc and Paralyze had to wrestle twice that night - once for the tag titles and then against each other for the Galaxian title - but I'll take what the dice give me.

Galaxian Championship Match Havoc vs. Paralyze Like BDS I'm a mark for Paralyze, wasn't too happy to see his finisher rating decrease though.
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match The Troubleshooters vs. Genesis While I'm a fan of Anivar I'm really into the Troubleshooters and believe them to be underated
Interplanetary Championship Match Sly Drury vs. Kill Prey This was a toss up for me but I'm going to go with the more experienced Kill Prey.
Nova Championship Match US Male vs. Tristan
Aurora Championship Match Shann-Ra vs. She Devil
Two out of Three Falls Match Bloodline vs. Encubus While I feel that Bloodline is probably the better wrestler, its hard to get past 3 finishers.
Disaster vs. Epoch If its anything like my fed, Disaster will KILL Epoch, but this doesn't take into account that this may not be what the dice want. (They rule us all and our federations)
Endgame vs. Switchblade I believe Endgame will be too much for Switchblade to handle.
Vin Strutter's Challenge - Cosmic Cage Match Steele Freak vs. one of the AniMen This one really depends on the Animan that answers but I'm putting my faith in Steel Freak.

Predictions
Galaxian Championship Match Havoc vs. Paralyze (I think Havoc will upset his bigger, stronger partner.)
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match The Troubleshooters vs. Genesis (I too like The Troubleshooters and they would look good with the Gold)
Interplanetary Championship Match Sly Drury vs. Kill Prey (Kill Prey should take this one)
Nova Championship Match US Male vs. Tristan (Tristain should take this one but I think US Male will get the upset)
Aurora Championship Match Shann-Ra vs. She Devil (From what others have said, She Devil is the class of the Womens division)
Two out of Three Falls Match Bloodline vs. Encubus (I agree 3 finishers is tough to overcome, but this is Bloodline. This match will steal the show!)
Disaster vs. Epoch (Disaster in a squash)
Endgame vs. Switchblade (Endgame is the man and will want to make up for getting DQ'd in the Title Tournament)
Vin Strutter's Challenge - Cosmic Cage Match Steele Freak vs. one of the AniMen (Steele Freak is one dangerous hombre. Could be the start of a nice side feud between Vin and The Animen.)
Nice card BDS!

New Beginnings: Friday, January 29th, 2119 Deimos Intergalactic Arena – Deimos, Mars
In the Arena: The show opened up with a chorus of boos as Vin Strutter stood outside the Cosmic Cage with Steele Freak running frantically around the ring inside. "Well, who's it going to be? Which one of you beasts has the courage to step into my freak's environment, wherein you will face the unforgiving steel of the Cosmic Fury and the unmitigated fury of Steele Freak?"
Swarm quickly appeared at the top of the ramp with She Devil at his side. "I think I can handle that one, Strutter," he said, then he turned his head towards She Devil. "Get him out of here." She Devil smiled broadly and the pair ran down to the ring. She Devil cracked her whip and chased Strutter away from the ring with it, and Swarm jumped inside the cage, where he was immediately attacked by Steele Freak.
Cosmic Cage Match: Steele Freak**** vs. Swarm**** Steele Freak won with FRENZIED HEAD SLAMS at 15:20 - ****½
Backstage: Lorelei confronted her son about his interference in Endgame's match two nights ago, expressing her displeasure as both his mother and his manager. "I'm disappointed in you, Blade. What do you think the FDF thinks? What would your brother think?"
Switchblade flashed an angry look at his mother at the mention of his deceased brother. "Crossfire would want me to win, that's what he'd want. And that's what I want."
Lorelei shook her head, and said quietly, "Then you go win without me." Switchblade watched in disbelief as his mother walked out of the room.
Aurora Championship Match
Shann-Ra (w/Vin Strutter) vs. She Devil* Shann-Ra won with a MACHETE at 15:49 - **¼ Shann-Ra won the Aurora Championship
Endgame vs. Switchblade*** Endagme won with an ULTIMA LEAP at 4:15 - *¾
In the Arena: Endgame offered Switchblade his hand after the match. Switchblade hesitated for several long moments, and the duo exchanged a heated stare before Switchblade finally extended his hand out to shake with Endgame. The crowd cheered and then Switchblade raised Endgame's hand over his head, sending the crowd into a frenzy as they roared their approval.
The applause quickly died off, though, when Switchblade dropped Endgame with a surprise short-arm clothesline. He bolted to a corner and jumped up onto the top rope as Endgame quickly got to his feet, then leaped off of the turnbuckle with a perfect BLADE OF RETRIBUTION that left Endgame laying. Switchblade stood over Endgame and spit on him as the fans bood him frantically, then he left the ring.
Nova Championship Match
US Male* (w/Latasha) vs. Tristan*** (w/Lorelei) Tristan won with a five-star rog splash at 8:03 - *** Tristan won the Nova Championship
Disaster******** vs. Epoch** Epoch won with a cradle neckbreaker at 19:06 - ****
Match Notes: Epoch continually threw Disaster out of the ring and distracted the referee while Slave Beast attacked him with various foreign objects. Disaster fought back and laid out Epoch with a RAMPAGE, but Slave Beast got on the apron and distracted the ref. Epoch used more shortcuts to take control and went for a pin after an Epoch Slam, but Thrash ran down and broke up the pin, then chased Slave Beast off. Diasaster had been worn down by this point, though, and Epoch put him away with a cradle neckbreaker.
In the Arena: Epoch gloated about his victory after the match, thrusting his hands in the air in victory. When he turned to taunt the crowd, though, Disaster got up and clubbed him from behind. The force of the blow sent Epoch tumbling through the ropes, and he quickly got to his feet and backed down the ramp away from Disaster. The leader of the Gladiators stood in the ring and pointed at Epoch, glowering at him as he made his way away from the ring.
Interplanetary Championship Match
Sly Drury* vs. Kill Prey**** Kill Prey won with an AMBUSH! (0) at 5:19 - ***½ Kill Prey won the Interplanetary Championship
In the Arena: Vin Strutter took the championship belt and entered the ring to present it to Kill Prey as Shann-Ra came down, wearing her newly won belt, to celebrate with her brother. "Ladies and Gentlemen," Strutter announced to a chorus of boos, "I give you the greatest hunters in the galaxy, the greatest champions in the galaxy, and part of The Greatest Show in the Galaxy, Kill Prey and Shann-Ra!" The siblings cast sidelong glances at one another, then left the ring together. Strutter realized that they had left without him, and quickly scampered out of the ring to follow them.
Two out of Three Falls Match: Bloodline* vs. Encubus******* Bloodline won with a COSMIC BIG BANG (+2) at 12:32 Bloodline won with a CETUS MASTERLOCK at 19:27 - ****¼
In the Arena: Thantos entered the ring and breated his son after the match, cutting him down for losing to Bloodline. Encubus hung his head during the diatribe and silently absorbed the verbal abuse, and his face seethed with anger all the while. Thantos finally ordered his son to the back and Encubus, looking very much like a beaten man, complied.
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match
The Troubleshooters****/**** vs. Genesis**/** The Bomb and Anivar fought to a double disqualification at 20:37 - ****¾
In the Arena: The ring announcer called out the match's finish, but Commissioner Massif quickly appeared at the top of the ramp. "No, no, no, not tonight. These people payed to see five champions crowned, and that's what they're going to get. You four get back in the ring, and we'll do this again – as a Titan Death Match!"
Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match
Titan Death Match: The Troubleshooters*/* vs. Genesis** Tauran defeated Muss with a TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER at 13:12 - ***½ Genesis won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Galaxian Championship Match
Havoc* vs. Paralyze* Paralyze won with THE PARALYZER at 4:09 - **½ Paralyze won the Galaxian Championship
In the Arena: Havoc laid motionless on the mat after THE PARALYZER. Paralyze stood over him and looked down, swatting away the referee as he came to check on him. The big Aethran reached down and extended his hand to Havoc, who reached up and took it as Paralyze helped him up. Disaster and Thrash joined their fellow Gladiators in the ring as Havoc rubbed the back of his neck. Havoc took the Galaxian Championship from the offical at ringside and held it high over his head, and the show closed with a mixture of boos and cheers from the crowd as the four Gladiators celebrated in the ring.

Yeah, Epoch really roughed Disaster up, actually. I kept waiting for Slave Beast to cause the DQ with his attacks on the outside, but it never happened.
I'm pretty happy with Switchblade so far. I think I'm going to extend out the program with Endgame for at least another PPV and after that, who knows?

Switchblade really works as a heel. Epoch getting the best of Disaster suprised me though, but maybe I underrate Epoch.

I don't think Epoch's card's really all that bad. It's got weaknesses, sure, but he's pretty solid. if you get some good rolls on Level 3 Offense he can rack up the tokens in a hurry, which is basically what happened against Disaster. His pin rating was 10 when he went down, and most of that was from Add 1 moves.
The best part about Blade's heel turn for me is that I wasn't really planning it or anything, it's just what the dice wanted. I was actually expecting Endgame to win the title and then build to a face vs. face title match, then Endgame went and got himself disqualified. Having Blade turn and cause the DQ himself because he was angry seemed to be a pretty good way to explain it, so here we are.
