Sam's CPC 2112

I ran CPC 2109 about 5 years ago and then never ordered any of the other sets, but the time finaly came, so I ordered them all and decided to start in 2112 with some tournaments! Here's the first card of 2112 to decide the CPC Heavyweight Champion

Misfits... Exiles... Legends... Has-beens... Never-weres.. and Ring crew?!? Any and all comers were welcomed as Magnus Colby did whatever he could to stave off the death of his beloved CPC. A rabid fanbase grew as the CPC became the only game in town during the ban years. Bootleg contraband vids made their way out. An underground revolution began... And the underground revolution has survived the UFSP ban!

Now, as 2112 dawns the CPC seeks to introduce itself in a galactic arena. They will crown a Heavyweight champion in style. 16 men will enter, 1 will be crowned the CPC Champion... WIll they elevate it to Galactic status by defending it all over? Will the promotion survive as the glorious GWF returns?

Whatever the case, the CPC will bring quality wrestling action to the galaxy. It's not just an alternative to the GWF, it's the REAL DEAL!

Before the tournament Jack of Diamonds says he will secure his spot in CPC history by taking the top prize.

Raven is seen warming up in the lockerroom. When he sees the camera he stares it down and then turns away.

Holocaust is sitting on a bench rolling his neck. He sees the camera, points to his waist and gestures for the belt.

Angst is shadow-boxing, upon seeing the camera he begnis to sweat a bit.
"Uh... It's gonna be a tough night... But I been there before... I'll get there again..." The nerves begin to fade away and his eyes begin to burn with a renewed vigor. "Aw, the hell with this! CPC fans, you've seen me in other feds, you know who I am, you know what I do... I'll bring my opponents to their knees! I'll cut a swath through this fed and RAZE it... And some hell!"

The screen fades and the CPC logo is displayed. Fans can be heard chanting as we immediately go to the ring.

1) Indigo vs. Mace
Match Notes: Mostly Mace in this one. Indigo had his moments, but Mace was just too powerful and too tough.
WInner: Mace at 7'42" ***stars

Post-Match: Called out Grunge and promised sooner or later they'd meet... And he wants him in a cage!

2)Talon vs. The Dominator
Match Notes: Dominator squashed him. Talon tried to pure "wrestle" him, but Dominator used power and brawling to a quick finisher.
WInner: The Dominator in 4'29" **stars

3)Gordo vs. Raven
Match Notes: Damned nice match! Mostly Raven, but Gordo definitely made him work for it!
Winner: Raven at 8'06" ***1/4 stars

4) Kati vs. Holocaust
Match Notes: Holocaust squashed him pure and simple.
Winner: Holocaust in 3'07" * star

5)Dynam vs. Jack of Diamonds
Match Notes: Nice back and forth match, that was easily the match of the night so far. Jack really put it to him but Dynamo wouldn't go away and even hit four straight finishers. Jack was hurt but came back.
Winner: Jack of Diamonds in 9'15" ***1/2 stars

6) Bishop Hell vs. Talisman
Match Notes: Good back and forth match. Fairly standard, nothing spectacular.
Winner: Talisman in 9'20" ***stars

7)Gila vs. Colossus
Match Notes: A bit back and forth, but mostly Colossus. Colossus added insult to injury by beating Gila with his own finisher.
Winner: Colossus in 4'47" ** stars

8) Grunge vs. Angst
MAtch Notes: Almost all Angst. Grunge had his moments, but Angst was too much for him.
Winner: Angst in 4'56" **stars

Post Match: Mace ran down and jumped Grunge! Angst even got a few shots in and held Grunge for his teammate, but then Mace told him he wanted him all to himself. Angst obliged. Mace and Grunge fought back and forth until CPCsecurity broke it up.

9)Mace vs. The Dominator
Match Notes: A bit back and forth. Pretty good match that ended in a DQ after it spilled out of the ring.
Winner: Mace by DQ in 9'27" **1/2 stars

Post Match: Dominator through a fit and cried foul and conspiracy, blaming Colby and the Penthouse Suite, though they had nothing to so with it.

10) Raven vs. Holocaust
Match Notes: Great match! Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Fans were really behind Raven. Both were oh so close, but in the end Holocaust was able to build up to his finisher and shock not only Raven, but the fans as well!
WInner: Holocaust in 7'48" ****stars

11) Jack of Diamonds vs. Talisman
Match Notes: Jack was on! He destroyed Talisman. Busted him open early on and thn just beat the snot out of him! Can Jack be stopped?
Winner: Jack of Diamonds in 6'15" **stars

12)Colossus vs. Angst
Match Notes: Angst surprised a few people by dominating Colossus! He outwrestled him and got a pin out of nowhere!
WInner: Angst in 3'15"

13) Mace vs. Holocaust
Match Notes: What a war!!!! An amazing, brutal, stiff, hi-impact, power battle! Neither man gave an inch. It was a classic back and forth affair and most certainly the match of the night. Mace hit his finisher twice but Holocaust wouldn't stay down! Holocaust battled back and hit his finisher at full force.
WInner: Holocaust at 14'27" ****1/4 stars

14) Jack of Diamonds vs. Angst
Match Notes: These two wasted no time and through everything at one another early on in a fast match. They poured it on and went to the big guns, knowing a quick win would give them an advantage over Holocaust in the finals. Angst was soooo close, bu Jack had his number and came back for a good win.
Winner: Jack of Diamonds in 6'47" ***1/4 stars

15) Jack of Diamonds vs. Holocaust
Match Notes: Holocaust was banged up from his match with Mace and knew he had to grab the advantage early and press it. And that is exactly what he did!
Winner and new CPC Heavyweight Champion: Holocaust in 4'47" **stars

Post Match: Phantasy, the Troubleshooter, and even Grunge come out to celebrate. Phantasy got on the mic and said this is step one. Soon all the gold would belong to her!

Well there's my first CPC card. Next up, the damnedest and craziest card I think I've ever played!

This one would be the 8-team tournament to decide the tag team champions of the CPC!

1) Theatre of Pain vs. Lower World
Match Notes: Good back and forth tag opener. Both teams were so evenly match it was hard to call. The Lower World eeked out the win, though with their finisher.
WInners: Lower World at 8'10 ***stars

2) Hunters of Prey vs. Stormtroopers
Match Notes: Solid back and forth bout that so both teams have a chance, but it boiled down to the fact the Powerhouse and Hammer are the better tag team. They looked really good, can they take it all?
Winners: Stormtroopers at 13'47" ***1/4 stars

3) Troubleshooters vs. Espianoge
Match Notes: Brutal affair! Neither team gave a quarter and it quickly dissolved into a massive brawl while Muss tried to break up a pin! The ref called for a double DQ! The fans were outraged!
Winners: N/A DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION at 3'27" * star

4) Penthouse Punks vs. Masked Marvels
Match Notes: Amazing tag match! These four gave it everything they had! The Punks looked really good, but then again so did Lycosa and Halcon Oro! After over 15 minutes, though Lycosa went to break up a pin and we had another huge pier 6er! The ref DQ'd both teams!!!!! The fans were close to rioting!
Winners: N/A DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION at 15'28" ****stars

Post Match: Commissioner Grogan came down to try and appease the fans. He announced that on the next card the four disqualified teams would face off in their respective pairings again in no DQ, no countout matches! The two winning teams would be declared co-#1 contenders and face the winners or tonights tag championship match in a Triple Threat Match!

The fans were still pissed, but this sounded better to them. Then Angst's music hit and the fans gave a nice pop. He walked out wearing a new shirt: The front said "Angst Kills" the back said "Raze Some Hell"

ANGST: Come on Grogan, you can do better than that... In fact, in the spirit of razing some hell, I'm gonna ask you to give these fans something really special! A CPC Championship match... TONIGHT! I want Holocaust!

The fans went crazy and Grogan knew he had no choice.

GROGAN: All right, all right... You want a match... You got it. But guess what, Panic Boy! It's a Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere Match!!!!

Angst looked surprised, but his worry gave way to anger and he just nodded. The fans ate it up and Grogan knew he'd saved the night by accepting Angst's proposal.

5) The Lower World vs. The Stormtroopers
Match Notes: What an insane, great match! Everything was used, exemplary tag work. Had it gone a little bit longer could've been a 5-star affair! Back and forth, back and forth. About halfway through, it looked like another Double DQ was coming, but Grogan, who was now sitting ringside, told the ref there MUST be a winner as the fans started to get heated once again! The match dissolved into a wild brawl, matching the fans fevered pitch, but then settled back into the ring. It was a display of power and speed, mat wrestling and drity tactics. Great finish too as a fired up Powerhouse and Hammer hit their tag finisher to win the belts!
Winners: Stormtroopers in 16'13" ****1/2 stars

6) Angst vs. Holocaust (CPCch) - Falls Count Anywhere -
Match Notes: Solid hardcore match to begins with. Holocaust really brought it after taking over early outside. They brawled all over the arena and Angst was bleeding heavily early on! Holocaust was fully in charge and it began to look like a misstep for Angst to challenge the champ. However, back in the ring it went back and forth and turned into a solid "wrestling" match! It went out a couple more times and Angst was able to secure the comeback! The Fans were on their feet as he took Holocaust back in and was able to hit his finisher! The ref counted 1, 2, 3! Angst did it!!! He's the new champ!
Winner and New CPC Heavyweight Champion: Angst in 15'47" ****1/4 stars

Post Match: After the match a pissed off Holocaust saw his teammate Grunge run down and give Angst a receipt from the other nght and hit him with a guitar shot!!!! Afterwards he and Holocaust decimated the new champion, leaving his bloody body lying on the mat! (Angst will be out for 7!!!)

Wow, told you this one was crazy! Win I rolled doubles at the end of the Angst/Holocaust match I couldn't believe it! Not only had I had the DQs, the crazy rolls on Grogan's card, and everything, but now I had a feud roll as well! This was a great card though, and really served to get the creative juices flowing. One of the many reasons we all love the game!

The CPC just keeps getting more and more insane! I love this fed and will probably play another card tonight, I'm having so much fun. Never fear loyal GWF promoters, I'm still running my GWF fed too, lol!


CPC 2112 Card #3

At the top of the show Grogan makes his way out to a very mixed reaction. He calmed the fans by announcing a fatal four way tonight to determine the number one contender to Angst's CPC Title. A title which, injury or not, Angst will be required to defend on the next supercard!

The competitors in tonight's match: Raven, Jack of Diamonds, Colossus, and The Dominator!

Holocaust comes out and says he wants his rematch and doesn't think its quite fair that he's not in the fatal four way tonight.

Grogan tells him not to worry, he's already got a match tonight... Against MACE!

1) Zed Marlowe vs. Bishop Hell
Match Notes: Solid back and forth battle, with both men jockeying for position early on. In the end, though, Zed's youth and speed allowed him to take over and get the victory after two straight DUCK AND COVERs.
Winner: Zed Marlowe in 10'52" *** stars

Post Match: Exo-King came out with Zouave and Jack of Diamonds. Then Exo-King ordered the destruction of Bishop Hell, once and for all. All three wrestlers played their part in dismantling the aged legend. It was later discovered that Bishop Hell will be out for 8 cards. Grogan wasted no time in ordering a swift suspension and fine for all four! They're out 3 and Jack cannot be in the main event tonight, instead it will be a Triple Threat Match.

2) Penthouse Punks vs. Masked Marvels - No DQ, No CO -
Match Notes: A bit back and forth. Oro was all over Romulus in the beginning, but the Punks made a comeback using great tag work. And Romulus went over Lycosa withi his finisher. The Masked Marvels complained of a fast count, but upon review it was just that close. The Punks will go on to the Triple Threat Title match.
Winners: Penthouse Punks in 7'01" **1/2 stars

3) Talon vs. Kati
Match Notes: This was a fast paced back and forth battle. Fans wished it was longer, but Talon picked up the quick win.
Winner: Talon 4'32" **3/4 stars

In the back Jack of Diamonds was shown yelling at Exo-King talking about his shot being blown for tonight. The King simply said that the Court will pick its shots and Bishop Hell had to pay tonight, but that Jack's time would be coming soon and he didn't need a match tonight to prove it.

4) Holocaust vs. Mace
Match Notes: Wow, this was a pure brawl. Whereas their tournament match was exemplary big man power wrestling, this match was nothing more than a slugfest out of the ring! Mace controlled most of it, he'd beat up on Holocaust outside, roll back in, and then go right back out to punish him. After three times of this both men grabbed chairs and the ref called for a double DQ as he knew he had no control!
Winner: NO CONTEST

Post Match: Security had to be called out and it took every man they had to break up the insanity that ensued! Holocaust grabbed the mic and said it wasn't about a silly title belt anymore! Now, he wants blood, plain and simple! AND HE WILL HAVE IT!
Mace just told him to bing it on!

5) Troubleshooters vs. Espionage - No DQ, No CO -
Match Notes: Pretty good back and forth match with all four men having their moments. Muss and The Bomb missed TROUBLE TIMES TWO, though and Shylock took over! Some good tag work for the outsiders led to Saboteur and Shylock hitting DOUBLE AGENT for the win. Shylock over Muss. It'll be Espionage vs. Penthouse Punks vs. Stormtroopers for the tag straps!
Winners: Espionage in 10'14" ***1/4 stars

6) Raven vs. Colossus vs. The Dominator
Match Notes: This was the most amazing Triple Threat bout I've ever played! Just the damnedest thing ever! All three fought back and forth for over 30 minutes using every piece in their arsenal. All three men were bloody messes by the end of it and the fans were on their feet for the last ten minutes! It was anybody's match, honestly. Towards the end all three were so tired, especially Colossus and Dominator, that anyone could've pinned the other. Raven looked especially good and was so very close quite a few times, but someone was always there to break up the pinfall! Finally Colossus used PAINFUL DOMINATION (he used BLADERUNNER earlier against Dominator) against The Dominator to add insult to injury and pick up the coveted win for the #1 spot!
Winner: Colossus in 33'27" * * * * * stars!!!!!


Well there's that one. The last match was incredible with so much action even I was marking out (Especially for Raven, but aw well, you can't win 'em all.). They never let up either. Three premiere competitors taking it to each other like their lives were on the line! Enjoy, there's more on the way.
