Over 200,000 were in attendance to witness the crowning of 4 new champions in this new age of GWF wrestling. This new age was brought about from Thantos' breaking of the Galactic Code which caused much chaos and even a temporary shutdown of the GWF itself. Thantos and Star Warrior would meet once again for the first time since 2086 in the 9 Man battle royal for the Galactic Title.

The main event was a great battle that saw Krakan eliminate Thantos as he battled Star Warrior... after dumping Thantos over the top rope, Krakan waved good-bye to a furious Gamemaster... Spike destroyed the hopes of Commander Same and Star Warrior before being eliminated himself by Krakan... after the match Krakan stood tall in the ring with the belt held high, The Society of Death came to ringside to hold off an angry Thantos

A moment with the Champ

Johnny Rocket: " Hello wrestling fans, Johnny Rocket here... The first Galactic Battlegrounds has just ended and I'm backstage with the first Galactic Champion in the new era of GWF wrestling, The Invincible Krakan..."

Krakan grabs the mic and shoves Rocket to the side. Ghengis Khan and Splatter move in front of Rocket staring menacingly at him as Mutant sits in a corner gnawing on an old bone...

Krakan: "(laughing) Krakan told you all that he would come out the winner tonight! Krakan went in and backed up everything he said he would do...first Krakan tossed out the giant idiot Massif, then Krakan dumped the wanna-be top dog Thantos over the top rope, then Krakan tossed out that inferior Aethran warrior Spike, then Krakan threw out Comrade Terror...Terror, Krakan respects you... you are a man whose principle match Krakan's. You are with the wrong people Terror, Krakan thinks that you would personally fit in the Society of Death much better than playing the role of Thantos' lackey... think about what Krakan is telling you Terror... together we would strike fear in the heart of the galaxy and rule it with an iron fist! Come Khan, Splatter... grab Mutant, it is time to celebrate!"

Krakan tosses the mic at Johnny Rocket as Khan grabs Mutant's chain and walks him out... Splatter slaps the back of Rocket's head and walks out with Krakan...

Johnny Rocket: "(rubbing the back of his head) Well fans, there you have it... the new Galactic Champion off to celebrate and an offer to Comrade Terror to join the Society of Death... This reporter thinks Thantos will have much to say about this! That's all for now fans! See you at the matches!"

A packed house showed up to witness the second card of the GWF's new era. These fans wanted to see what the buzz was about and tonight they would not be disappointed.

Before the card got underway the Galactic Champion, The Invincible Krakan came out to the ring decked out with a flowing cape and all, the Galactic Title firmly around his waist. He came out to a chorus of boos but he looked like a conquering king...

Krakan: Comrade Terror, tonight Krakan accepts your challenge! Krakan feels this will be a chance for you to prove that you are S.O.D. material. Though Krakan will be victorious no doubt, Krakan feels you will have a strong showing and come to realize your true spot in this Federation... Thantos has no use for you except to be his lap dog, do you really wish that Terror? You can be so much more as a leader beside Krakan!

With that Comrade Terror came to the entrance ramp with mic in hand...

Terror: Listen Krakan, I am nobody's lap dog... not Thantos' and sure the hell not yours! We have things in common? What the hell have you been drinking on CTA-102? You are a disgruntled Commander of a Dictatorship that hasnt been able to overthrow Titan, and myself... I'm the paid cosmic terrorist here and my work speaks volumes! You will see tonight when I decimate your pompous @$$ and walk away with the gold...

Krakan: Try you will my friend, but Krakan's superior military intelligence will shut you down... besides, you truly think your master is going to let you be above him? Heh heh.. Krakan thinks not...

Animal Pack defeated Norse Gods via Andromeda Drop on Lightening

Flying Titans & Society of Death battle to a wild out of the ring double disqualification that went backstage and out into the parking area... the entire lockeroom and security had to pull both teams off each other... Commissioner Carter has stated that their will be a rematch on the next Galactic Battlegrounds

Spike devastated Commander Sam and got the win quickly with a powerslam

The Launching Pad featuring Heavy Metal Champion, Wolf
Wolf came out to discuss his win the the Cosmic Cage Rumble at the last Galactic Battlegrounds, however, he was interrupted by Bishop Hell. Bishop Hell as you might recall was the last man eliminated and he claims that Wolf screwed him over. Bishop Hell demanded that he get first shot at the Heavy Metal Title and Wolf smirked at Hell and said, I might consider it... Bishop Hell then sucker punched Wolf and both men went at it like rabid pit bulls... Johnny Rocket ran for higher ground as Wolf clotheslined Bishop Hell over Rocket's desk and then leaped onto him and began pounding him mercilessly... Bishop Hell managed to toss Wolf off of him and send him into one of the Launching Pad's set walls before security broke the fight up... Commissioner Carter has ordered a non title match inside a Cosmic Cage on the next Galactic Battlegrounds! If Bishop Hell wins, he will then recieve a title shot at the next supercard.

*Galactic Tag Title Match*
This match stole the show this night as both teams battled tooth and nail for the gold... The Gladiators put up a huge fight, but the Gods came in with all guns blazing as well and had the champs on the defensive several times during the bout... the match would go in and out of the ring several times. The Gods came very close to capturing the gold and late in the match Proteus put Brute down with the Overhead Toss, but the titles were saved when Spike ran in and attacked Proteus. Proteus tossed Spike out and the match continued, once again spilling outside where Proteus rammed Brute into the ringpost causing a disqualification... enraged and frustrated, Proteus tossed the referee out of the ring and continued his assualt on Brute. Protues drove an elbow from off the top rope into the throat of Brute injuring him 5 cards...

Commissioner Carter ruled that this time of violence would not be tolerated in the G*W*F* and suspended Proteus 12 cards... Proteus grabbed Carter by the collar and was about to pummel him when Actagon pulled him off and talked him down as they left the ringside area

FDF beat Evil Ones when Mesmer put Kill Queen out with Blackout

Star Warrior beat Thantos in a wild and violent match via count out when Star Warrior piledrove Thantos on the floor

*Galactic Title Match*
Comrade Terror defeated Invincible Krakan(c) via Disqualification
A short but brutal fight that saw Terror on the offensive for the entire match until the champion retreated out of the ring... Terror followed the champion out and Krakan bodyslammed him on the floor prompting a disqualification... much to the fans disapproval... Commissioner Carter is reviewing this match and Krakan's obvious attempt to save his title by DQ. There may be a rematch soon!

A few words from Thantos

Thantos sits in a dark dungeon type room upon a stone throne surrounded by skulls and candles. Upon his head a bandage covering his forehead, a mark from his brutal battle with one-time friend Star Warrior...

Thantos: "I hope you are celebrating this very moment Star Warrior, I want you to enjoy every minute... savor the feeling of victory. Embrace that feeling Star Warrior and be proud... you finally managed to beat me... yes, you beat me... but you DID NOT pin me. No, you have yet to do that. Perhaps it was easier for you to try and snap my neck by piledriving me out on the cold concrete floor in front of that blood-thirsty Deimos crowd. Maybe, you found it easier to try and end my career tonight than to actually pin my shoulders to the mat and PROVE that you are better. Well Star Warrior remember that feeling that you are feeling this very moment... cause the next time we meet... you will be the one feeling the pain! I kick you to the curb as a tag partner... tell your father to stick it and break his precious Galactic Code and you try to end my livelyhood??? YOU SHOULD'VE KILLED ME! Didn't daddy ever tell you not to do a job unless you finish it? You made a huge error Star Warrior, I promise that when next we meet... I will start and finish the job on you and then... I will end your father's career... that I promise...

Enough about you though Star Warrior, right now... I have bigger fish to fry... Krakan, Mighty Krakan... you ambush me in a battle royal, win the Gold and now run your mouth about me? Not only do you run your mouth about me, but trying to turn my own men against me? Rest assured little man, Comrade Terror wont be joining your ranks anytime soon. Tonight, you showed your true colors by intentionally getting disqualified to save your belt. Terror has your number, but he had his chance to play, it's my time now! Rest assured Mr Invincible, that I am going to personally shut your mouth and take that Galactic Title from you. You want to be top man? Well bask in the glory now, cause I guarantee when I lock the Masterlock on, you will be begging to stop the match. Dont write checks with your mouth that your @$$ cant cash..."

Another packed house came in to see some exciting G*W*F* action... before the first match got underway Commissioner Carter stated that he was reviewing Krakan's actions in the Galactic Title match last week and next week he will decide if indeed Comrade Terror will recieve a rematch at the upcoming supercard (still unnamed as of yet)

Adam Blast beat Vanity via a sunset flip

The Space Croppers defeated Animal Pack when Beast-Rider pinned Incredible Badger after the Bulldog Ride
Animal Pack hard this match firmly in control until Beast-Rider was tagged in, from there it all went downhill as Beast-Rider gained control and kept it ...eventually getting the duke on Badger

Lord Nexus beat Executioner via Titan Drop

The Launching Pad featuring Interplanetary Champion, Mesmer
Mesmer didnt get two sentences in edgwise before he was interrupted by Killer Queen, obviously upset over being knocked out last week by Mesmer's Blackout.... Killer Queen called Mesmer incredibly lucky and stated that he doubt he would be able to pull that off again... Mesmer answered by challenging Killer Queen to a match on the next Galactic Battlegrounds to prove that he can and will put Killer Queen's lights out again... as Mesmer turned to leave Killer Queen nailed him from behind... both men began to brawl furiously until security broke it up.

Society of Death (Splatter, Mutant, & Ghengis Khan) beat Flying Titans (Billy Jo Boxer, Pit Viper, & Pulsar) via DQ when Pit Viper used a chair to KO Splatter... Commissioner Carter stated that these two teams will lock horns once again in a Cosmic Cage at the upcoming supercard

Star Warrior beat Spike via Nova Launch

The Invincible Krakan came to the ring with the Galactic Title wrapped firmly around his waist... Krakan grabbed the house mic and began to once again bad-mouth Thantos as well as continue to offer Comrade Terror a spot in the Society of Death...it wasnt longbefore Thantos and Comrade Terror came onto the entrance ramp, Thantos had a mic in his hand... Thantos and Krakan traded verbal barbs with one another before Thantos challenged Krakan to a Galactic Title match next week! Krakan refused stating that Thantos has yet to win a match since the G*W*F* has reopened, Krakan then stated that he would give Thantos a non title match and if Thantos won, then he would give Thantos the title shot... as this was going on Comrade Terror began to give Thantos an angry stare... Thantos accepted the terms and walked away leaving Comrade Terror there to stew as Krakan exited from the opposite side...

Wolf(c) beat Bishop Hell via crossbody off the top rope
The Heavy Metal Champion Wolf thrashed Bishop Hell in this one... when it was all said and down, Bishop Hell was a bloody mess and his hopes at a Heavy Metal Title shot were down the tubes...

Thantos beat Galactic Champion, Invincible Krakan via DQ in a non-title match... Krakan was DQ'd when he smashed Thantos in the face with a steel chair outside the ring, after this Krakan then gave Thantos two backbreakers on the concrete floor injuring him 6 cards

Commissioner Carter stated that Krakan is under investigation and may be suspended and stripped of the Galactic Title. Carter announced that he will give his decision in 3 cards...

*Promoter's Note: Im loving this restart, this is the most fun I've had with the original roster since the first time around with them back in '96. And like it was 10 years ago... its Krakan and Thantos at the forefront with their power struggle. Im looking forward to this supercard. The top matches from this card were Mesmer/Killer Queen & Thantos/Krakan... I hope the Supercard goes just like these past four cards have gone

Wolf(c) beat Spike after a vicious face ram into the cage
-Spike had control for most of the match, Spike used his brute strength to pound Wolf down to the mat. Spike then busted Wolf open by ramming him face first into the steel, Wolf managed an impressive comeback and eventually locked on the Savage Face Claw... when Spike wouldnt submit Wolf tried putting Spike's head thru the cage and got the win

*Cosmic Cage Match*
-Flying Titans thrashed Society of Death when Lord Nexus pinned Mutant after Titan Drop

*Interplanetary Title Match - Cosmic Cage*
Mesmer(c) beat Killer Queen via Blackout
-This was not a good night for the Evil Ones, Queen got beaten pillar to post for several long minutes... by the end Mesmer locked on Blackout on a bloodied Killer Queen for the win

*Galactic Title Match - Cosmic Cage*
Invincible Krakan(c) defeated Comrade Terror via Falling Face Slam
-This was by far the best match of the night... both of these men brutally punished each other with their high impact offense and both men utilized the steel to their advantages... both of these men were determined not to fall to the other. At the 23:20 mark Krakan put Comrade Terror down with a Falling Face Slam... the crowd went haywire when Terror kicked out! Krakan however would not be denied... not allowing Terror a moment to recuperate..he quickly hit the Falling Face Slam for a second time to successfully retain the title.

Commissioner Carter announced that Invincible Krakan, after reviewing the incident involving the injuring of Thantos, was suspended 10 cards and stripped of the Galactic Title. He also announced that the top two contenders (Star Warrior & Spike) would be facing each other in the main event of this card, winner would be the new Galactic Champion...

Pit Viper beat Splatter via DQ *

On the Launching Pad, Bishop Hell was this week's guest. Hell came on a ran his mouth about Killer Queen getting cheated in his IP title shot against the champion, Mesmer. Hell called Mesmer an overglorified party magician and that he would soon be losing the IP strap. This brought Mesmer out..Mesmer went to grab the mic from Johnny Rocket when Bishop Hell launched a fireball into his face! Mesmer went down to the floor holding his face in agony. Bishop Hell picked up the IP title and stared at it and then sat it on Rocket's desk before casually strolling off.

The Evil Ones (Exo-King & Killer Queen) defeated the Bomb Squad when Exo-King locked Sam into the Death Vise **1/2

Galactic Tag Champions The Gladiators successfully defended the titles againt the FDF (Massif & Omega) when Massacre pinned Massif after the Decapitator ***

Galactic Title Match-
Star Warrior defeated Spike via DQ when Massacre interfered, Commissioner Carter ruled that the title will remain vacant and a rematch will be held in the very near future 1/2*

Galactic Battlegrounds #006 Highlights

The Animen confronted Beast-Rider on treatment of animals and about his galactic zoo. Rider was none too pleased about having to explain himself and told the Animen to mind their own business... from there Battering Ram put Beast-Rider through Johnny Rocket's desk... Beast-Rider has suffered a 4 card injury to his ribs, Commissioner Carter suspended the Animen for 3 cards.

After his match with Pulsar, Splatter with the help of Ghengis Khan brutalized the poor upstart and tried to break his leg...Pulsar has suffered a 5 card leg injury... Commissioner Carter suspended Splatter 10 cards.

The Galactic Tag Team Champions, The Gladiators faced their toughest challenge to date in the Bomb Squad. This match kept the fans on their feet from start to finish. Several times during the match the Bomb Squad looked like they were going to walk out the new tag champs but the Gladiators managed to comeback each time, after almost 20 mins of relentless fighting from both teams, a fatigued Massacre finally took an equally fatigued Adam Blast off his feet with a Decapitator for the hard fought win. This is already being called and early candidate for Match of the Year.

In another great match Star Warrior and Spike battled for the vacant Galactic Title. It looked like Spike had the win early in the match when he gave Warrior the Super Destroyer, but Warrior amazingly kicked out.
