Well the Cosmic Forces's third reign as IP Tag Team Champions (that I mentioned on the preceding post of this thread late last night as I closed out 2092 beofre going to sleep) was also their shortest.
The Cosmic Forces won a tag team turmoil match at Star Wars- my biggest and last card of each game year. But I played my first card of 2093 (while watching the Giants versus the Vikings) and The Galacticops just defeated the Cosmic Forces to get their first championship in my fed.
The Galacticops had defeated six other tag teams in the tag team turmoil match only to lose to the Cosmic Forces who were the last team to enter the match. The Galacticops then received a best 2 out of 3 rematch on my first card of the year and this time they were victorious.

Dateline, 30 June 2079:
GWF Heavyweight Champion: Omega of Cetus #1 Contender: Torin Caelum
No real surprises here--these two have been among the top two or three singles stars for the last three years running. Omega won the title from Caelum a couple months ago in one of Caelum's least memorable showings--but then, he was coming off a neck injury at the time. Omega beat him in the mandatory rematch, but with Caelum's skill and record, it's only a matter of time before they square off again.
GWF Tag Team Champions: (Solar) Flare & Moonstrike #1 Contenders: Hyperion (Hechilles) & Screw
The Paladins recently won the Tag Team Titles for an insane seventh time, going through three other teams in a Four Corners Match and scoring the winning pinfall over all three! Combined with winning the Tag Team of the Year Award on two separate occasions, and currently poised to take home the honors a third time, if they aren't among the first wrestlers to enter the GWF Hall of Fame (when I decide to open one), I'll eat a bug.

Dateline, 31 January 2080:
GWF Heavyweight Champion: Omega of Cetus #1 Contender: Torin Caelum
Omega actually lost the belt to Morpheus in a steel cage match at Starcade 79, only to win it back a mere 22 days later, making Morpheus' fourth title reign the shortest title reign (for anyone) in GWF history. Torin Caelum remains untouchable in the number one slot, and if he were more aggressive in pursuing title opportunities, he might be the champion. As it is, he's content to play second to his good friend Omega.
GWF Tag Team Champions: VACANT! #1 Contenders: (Solar) Flare & Moonstrike
The Mensan team won the titles for a fourth time at Starcade, only to come out on the very first show of the new year to announce their retirement "while they were on top." An eight-team tournament will begin on the next card to fill the belts, with the final match to take place at King of the RIng in March. The odds-on favorite to win are the Paladins, as with the Mensan retirement, they are the only team to have anything approaching a long-term winning record; their closest competitors, the Bounty Hunters (Dante & Von Braun) struggle to remain at .500. They will have a chance to show the Paladins up, however, as the two teams are set to meet in the first round of the tournament.

Just hitting June 2098...
GWF: Bishop Hell (2nd Reign) (December 2097 - June 2098) - The Good Bishop won the title by seeming fluke, and has went on a great run as champion. Having beaten the likes of Lord Nexus, U.S. Patriot, and recently Chaos, Hell has become a true champion again
Inter-Planetary: Cannibal (2nd Reign) (June 2096 - June 2098) - Yep. He's done it. Two straight years as Inter-Planetary champion, with a massive twenty defenses. Cannibal is the Hardcore god...we must accept that.
GWF Tag: The Gamemasters (1st Reign) (May 2098 - June 2098) - Thantos & Star Warrior won the tag titles in an epic confrontation with the Mercenaries, who had just won the tag titles for the third time. 2098 has been an up and down year for the Champions, but these two legends with the tag titles has to be the highlight.

5/25/2098:
GWF Galaxian Champion: Raven (5/25/2098, from Janus) GWF Tag Team Champions: Mercenaries (5/25/98, from Gladiators) GWF Interplanetary Champion: Dreggs (4/28/98, from Massacre) GWF X-Division Champion: Vigilante (2/17/2098, from Janus)
I was motivated to update this because on my most recent card, Raven won The Galaxian Championship for the very first time by defeating Janus in a Cosmic Cage Match!

the Amazing Mann is my current GWF champion(as of 11/26/05) and he is unstoppable! He's been champion for over a year(real time) and pinned Endgame,Bloodline, and Tauran and made Disaster and Encubus tap to CONTORTION. He rarely even needs help from Vin Strutter. Now he's NOT on some 100+ win streak because I don't get to play too often but still, he's eat up every top contender in my fed with the exception of Kill Prey and Kill Prey hasn't really done anything in my fed to earn a title shot.
the Master Race are my tag champs, but they just won them a few cards back with only 1 defense so far.
see my sig for the rest..

scottilious - Was it a good battle between The Creeper and The Sandman? The Creeper must have earned a shot by winning a few prior to meeting The Sandman.
I only ask because The Creeper earned a shot at the Hardcore title in my Fed. He got destroyed by Wolf but he had his moment in the sun by winning several matches prior to that. I think The Creeper getting a title shot is very rare.
