Yes, it is true. The UFSP has lifted the ban on wrestling. Two wrestlers in the Pleadies system has decided to start their own organization to jumpstart the cause. Omega from Cetus and Morpheus from Aldeberan have teamed together to create the Galactic Wrestling Federation (GWF) and has put an open call to wrestlers from all over the galaxy to settle their disputes with each other in the ring instead of the battlefield.

Come to the Deimos Arena in January to see the first ever GWF card. See you at the matches.!!!!!!!

I will be posting my restart of Early classics. My computer crashed on me and I did not save any of my cards and had not gotten around to putting them into COTG online yet.

So I decided to start again. This time with no bootlegs, just the straight wrestlers with official cards.

Steve: “Hello, and welcome to the first Showdown of many more to come. Tonight we will have some
exhibition matches to show what to expect for the GWF Title Tournament and GWF Tag Team
Tournaments for the titles. We will also be updating you on the long hard road to legalize wrestling
again. It all started with the war on Titan, started by planet CTA-102. Eventually many other planets
got involved and many people died. When Aethra got involved they ended up destroying a planet
who was not even involved with the war.”

“After this, all planets signed a peace treaty. It only took 15 years by the way. As we all know the
war just ended last year. There were some outlaw wrestling alliances out there. Omega and
Morpheus, although not the best of friends, teamed together to urge governments to let them
wrestle, stating that it’s better for one man to be injured then millions of deaths. Omega stated that
a planet’s representative would be able to settle differences in the ring, rather than people die.
After the galactic war, most people agreed and wrestling was reinstated.”

“Today we now have the GWF. Right now several people have left the POW (Pelaides Outlaw
Wrestling) to enjoy wrestling and perhaps get paid as well. So far we have:
1) Omega from Cetus
2) Morpheus from Aldeberan
3) Crosscurrents (Thetis and Vortex) from Thalassis
4) K.O. Keller from parts unknown
5) Torin Caelum from Sagitta
6) The Mensans (Trotarus and Cordsar) from Mensa

“Morpheus has put out an open call for all wrestlers who want to join. They are looking for 5-6
more wrestlers. So tonight we will probably see more coming in. On to our first match. It will
feature Crosscurrents vs. Mensans.”

CROSSCURRENTS vs. MENSANS
Crosscurrents beat Mensans With WATERY GRAVE on Cordsar (2). Match Rating: ½*

The Crosscurrents pretty much had this match as all Cordsar could do is take the punishment and never made a tag.

Steve: “What a great match to start things off with. Now let’s take you to a press conference that will show
how Omega and Morpheus sucessfully lobbied to get wrestling legalized again.”

Shows a press conference with senators of all planets, Omega, and Morpheus.

Omega: “Considering what went on in the galaxy, this would be a better alternative.”

Morpheus: “Unless you enjoy people dying.”

This brought a grumble throughout the room.

Omega: “Let people see and experience their inner aggressions through others, or we will someday face a
war more ghastly than the one that just ended.”

Fades out.

Steve: “As you can see that strong statement was the one that convinced everyone to allow wrestling
to start back up again. Now let’s see who Omega and Morpheus is talking to now in the back.”

They show Omega and Morpheus in the back talking to a masked man.

Morpheus: “Where are you from?”

Masked Man: “That does not matter.”

Morpheus: “To hell it doesn’t. What’s your name boy?”

Masked Man: “I am not a boy, and my name is not important. As you will see soon. And if you insist on
calling me boy I will have to make you understand what a man is.”

Omega: “How long will you be here?”

Masked Man: “I will leave with no announcement when I am ready.”

Morpheus: “That’s it, sign him. I want a piece of him.”

Masked Man: “I will look forward to your challenge.”

Omega: “Alright, you are hired. We will call you Santon. But you won’t be facing Morpheus until
the tournament is over. Unless of course you face him in the tournament. Good luck to you.”

Masked Man: “Luck is not needed for the likes of me. I make my own destiny.”

The masked man walks away.

Morpheus: “I really don’t like that man. There is something about him I cannot place.”

JAMMER vs. RICKEN PRINCE

Prince’s music comes on “I AM ROYALTY DAMMIT!”
The fans boo as Ricken Prince states he will not come out until the red carpet is rolled out to the ring.

Ricken Prince beats Jammer (3) with BOW TO THE PRINCE. Match Rating: *½

Another match that was one sided as Prince just beat Jammer up before finally ending with BOW TO THE PRINCE (low blow)

Camera pans to the back area.

Two cowboys come barging through the door.

Backlash: “What is the big idea? We were not invited to this hoedown.”

Bullwhip: “Or were you guys scared we would be too dominant for you.”

Morpheus: “Why don’t you guys just turn around and leave, we have enough smart asses here already.”

Backlash: “Figures, all talk and no action. And you’re supposed to be tough.”

Bullwhip: “HA HA! Thought you would be a lot meaner in person.”

Omega: “That is enough. We didn’t start this organization so punks like you can try to be bullies.

Morpehus: “Tell you what, if Omega is up to it we will challenge you guys tonight in the main event.
You win, you’re in. You lose, well even you dumbasses should know about that.”

Bullwhip: “What do you say Injun? Think you can scalp a couple of cowboys?”

Both men start laughing.

Omega: “Sigh. If you insist on being rude, I guess it would be a pleasure on teaching you some manners tonight.”

PALADIN POWER vs. KO KELLER & COMMANDER SAM
Paladin Power beats Commander Sam and KO Keller when Flare did PALADIN MISSLE (TB head butt) on Sam.

Again the cameras show Omega and Morpheus' office.

Torpor: “My name is Torpor and I am from Cygnus. I would like to settle my aggressions against a human named Commander Sam. I have met him on the battlefield and would like to finish what I started. Humans are such weaklings and I need some sport.”

Morpheus: “I like this guy.”

Omega: “I think that you might be underestimating Sam, but you will get a chance to prove it.”

All of a sudden, a huge man appears and pushes Torpor out of the way. He has muscles just busting out and looks very strong. He also has some plate screwed on his face.

Both Omega and Morpheus look at each other. And say: “YOU’RE HIRED!”

BLOOD vs. TORIN CAELUM
Torin Caelum (2) beat Blood (3) by CAELUM’S GRIP. Match Rating: ** ½

Back and forth match until after the ref was knocked out, Torin used a chair on Blood. Torin then woke up the ref and put Blood out with CAELUM'S GRIP (cobra clutch) for the win

Camera shows in the back again as Dorado Sundown are talking on the phone.

Blacklash: "Can you believe that we are here in the GWF. And tonight we have a match with none other than the founders Omega and Morpheus."

He pauses

Blacklash: "Yeah, easier than I thought. We are on our way to kick their ass."

He then hangs up and heads to the ring with Bullwhip.

GUARDIANS vs. DORADO SUNDOWN
Guardians beat Dorado Sundown when Omega did COSMIC WAR DANCE (series of knee lifts) on Bullwhip. Match Rating: *½ . Morpheus (1), Bullwhip (2)

Dorado had Morpheus in their corner for a long time and was severely beaten. Morpheus finally was able to take control and made a quick tag to Omega. Omega cleaned house and quickly got the pin on Bullwhip.

Dorado Sundown leave the ring yelling that this is not over and they will take over this fed.

Show opens up with video footage of last card’s action. Finishing up with Torin hitting Blood with the chair and going on to win the match.

Blood comes out smoking his cigar and says that he was surprised that Torin, a man with such a tough reputation, needed a chair to beat him. This must mean that I am a tough guy as well and maybe just a little tougher since Torin could not beat him fairly. Torin comes out and states that he was just proving a point and can beat Blood even on his worst day. The two agreed to a match tonight.

Boring match. Did not last long.

Torin is walking in the back and runs into Omega. Omega says he is disappointed in Torin. Torin smiles and says it does not matter he is only here for the money. Omega then says that this is not what the GWF is about. Torin then gives him his famous smirk and walks off.

Torpor makes his way to the ring in his Cygnus uniform and sneers at all the humans that are in the arena.

Torpor beats Ricken Prince by DQ. Match Rating: DUD

Another short match with Prince getting DQ for brawling out of the ring.

After the match Jack Hood runs down to the ring and attacks Blacklash. Santon and Hood do a double clothesline on Blacklash. Santon then does a SPIKE PILEDRIVER on Blacklash before Bullwhip comes running in with a chair to help clear the ring. Blacklash is injured for 4 cards

The GWF Title Tournament will crown a new champion.

Plus Torin also states that he will be the first champion because no one can beat him and everyone knows it.

Omega and Morpheus are confused as they had just found out that Jack Hood just sent Dorado Sundown in to take over GWF. So what is the story. Tune in as Jack Hood states the reason he attacked Blacklash last card.

Omega and Morpheus would like to let everyone know what matches you will see for the start of the tournament.

Jack Hood stated he did not care about a title and just wanted to fight. He will not be in the tournament.

Crosscurrents stated that they will only go after tag titles and that is what they would like to concentrate on.

Cordsar was the odd man out as he wanted to join, but there were only 16 brackets and so we decided to go with his partner Trotarus in the tournament. Cordsar was incensed and challenged Morpheus and Omega in the tag tournament and the challenge was accepted.

1st round matches will include:

- Prince throws Torpor out of the ring and slams his head into the steel post getting DQ. Torpor is bleeding.

Blacklash makes his way to the ring limping. Blood is in the ring smoking his cigar.

- Blood does SCAR TISSUE (half nelson while rubbing opponent’s face in mat). Blacklash is able to get out.
- Blood tosses Blacklash in the turnbuckle and charges in. Blacklash moves out of the way and Blood runs headfirst into the turnbuckle. 1…Blood kicks out!
- Blacklash with vicious frontal whip into turnbuckle. 1…Blood kicks out!
- Blacklash with Dorado Power Drop. 1…Blood kicks out!
- Blood comes off the top rope with a clothesline.

To top that off Blacklash has the nerve to say he is not done yet and then tells me not to worry about it. It was my money from the POW organization that Omega and Morpheus stole all my talent from. I will not rest until I have finished them off and do to them what they have done to me. Hood then waves around the POW Flag.

Thanks everyone for cheering him on and thanks Omega for a great match. Omega leaves not looking very happy. Keller says he does not know what is going on with his friend Torin, but looks forward to facing him in the tournament.

MORPHEUS vs. TORIN CAELUM

Morpheus is standing in the ring as the crowd starts cheering him.

Torin Caelum comes out and is booed by everyone.

Torin grabs the mic and offers Morpheus the chance to not be embarassed like the noble Omega was earlier by his good friend KO Keller. Because he will be champion. “You want Torin to be champion. You need Torin as champion. And Torin will take them into the future proudly.” He then gives everyone his smirk as the bell rings and Morpheus lays into him.

- Torin Caelum attacks Morpheus with a Boston Crab. Morpheus reaches the ropes.
- Torin Caelum attacks Morpheus with a dropkick. 1.. 2.... Morpheus kicks out!
- Torin Caelum attacks Morpheus with a Torin Death Lock. Morpheus goes out of the ring. Torin Caelum comes outside to continue the fight and a wild brawl erupts. Both men crawl back into the ring.
- Torin Caelum throws Morpheus into the turnbuckle, Torin Caelum comes charging in... Morpheus moves out of the way at the last second. Torin Caelum hits hard and tumbles over the top turnbuckle. Morpheus climbs out of the ring and slams Torin Caelum's head into the steel ringpost.
- Morpheus attacks Torin Caelum with a Satanic Skull Smasher. 1.. 2.... Torin Caelum kicks out!
- Morpheus is going for his TRIP TO HADES (running power slam). Torin Caelum kicks out.
- Morpheus attacks Torin Caelum with a power drop. 1.. 2... 3, it's all over.

Morpheus (2) beats Torin Caelum (2) with power drop. Match Rating: **

Torin is upset and tries to attack Morpheus, but Morpheus slides out of the ring quickly and smiles as he walks up the ramp.

Morpheus states that Torin’s arrogance got the best of him and that is why he lost. Morpheus says that he will win the tournament and represent the company he started.
