Matador - "My goal is to win the GWF championship and seeing as the cowardly lion is the champ, it shouldn't be to hard." Iron Mane charges out to ringside - "Cowardly? You want this, you have to earn it. I'll face you tonight. If you can beat me I'll beg the commish to give you the title shot at Moon Wars." Matador - "Prepare to be embarrassed, Chump. I mean champ." Highlights - The New Bomb Squad upsets the Cosmic Forces via countout. Wolf defeats Bishop Hell by DQ. The Greek Gods and Eastern Dynasty battle to a double DQ. In a non-title match, Matador of M83 wins an excellent match after he finally gets the pinfall after hitting the Bullwhip for a third time.

Dukedave - "Not so fast. Just because Iron Mane begged me to give you a shot doesn't mean you get one. While your victory was impressive, Massif has not gotten his rematch. You two will go at it tonight and the winner will get the title shot at Moon Wars." Highlights - Lance At-Las controls good match and gets upset win over Thantos. Greek Gods dominate the Eastern Dynasty. After the match Proteus injures Mitsuko with two flying elbow drops on concrete. Bishop Hell scores easy win over Wolf. Bomb Squad defeat the Cosmic Forces. Matador of M83 wins a good match over Massif with a Bullwhip to get the title shot at Moon Wars.
1/8/2091 - MNM, Stasllar Theatre, Poccior, Mensa. Highlights - Mayhem misses the Leap of Doom three times in his debut match and loses to Pulsar Prime. Animal Pack win a very good match over Nightmare. Spike dominates Vanity.

Well that's a good way to make an entrance to the GWF.. beat the champ in a non-title match in his debut appearance, beat the top contender and then challenge for the GWF title in the third match. Looks like Matador is trying not only to defeat Iron Mane for the title, but also start a Rookie of the Year campaign that outshines 'Mane.
Looking forward to seeing what the Serpent Unman can do against Pulsar Prime. Even though I never used him that much, I always liked the concept of the character.

Solid night for the Gladiators and the Matador of M83. Star Warrior and Thantos tearing down the house in the middle of the card is kind of weird to imagine.
So aside from Iron Mane's rematch clause, who is going to get the next title shot? Thantos, Krakan, or Pulsar Prime?

-1/29/2091 - Monday Night Madness, The Cube, Pallas, Asteroid Belt. Highlights - Cosmic Forces defeat the Bomb Squad. Thantos has win with Masterlock on Proteus but ref is knocked out. When he comes to Proteus has turned things around and gets the pin with an Overhead Toss. The Gladiators defeat the Galacticops in Galactic Punisher's return when Massacre pins Justice with a Decapitator. After match, Massacre hits a Cleansing on Justice, injuring him. Spike successfully defends the I-P title over Bishop Hell.
-2/5/2091 - MNM, Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars. Highlights - Nightmare defeat the Bomb Squad when Whiplash hits a Thumbscrew on Commander Sam. Bounty Hunter returns to action with a win over Actagon. The Norse Gods dominate the Gladiators in a non-title match and defeat the champs with a Lightening Norse Sleeper Grip on Brute. Count Necros defeats the I-P Champ Spike by countout in a non-title match when he using the Phantom Dust on him and a blinded Spike can't see to get back into the ring on time.
2/12/2091 - MNM, Stasllar Theatre, Poccior, Mensa. Dukedave - "Tonight, Spike will defend the I-P title in a rematch versus Count Necros. The winner of that match will defend the title at Retribution vs Pulsar Prime. In addition, the Gladiators will defend the tag titles against the Norse Gods. If the Gladiators retain they will face the Greek Gods at the PPV. If the Norse Gods win the straps, the Gladiators rematch will be at Retribution. The other title match at Retribution will feature Iron Mane receiving his rematch against Matador of M83 for the GWF title." Highlights - Mayhem scores the upset on Pulsar Prime and wins good match following 2 Danger Zones. The Norse Gods dominate the Gladiators but the champs escape with the titles when Massacre pins Man-Mountain following a Decapitator. Count Necros scores the upset by pinning Spike following a Phantom Dust to win the I-P Title.

Tonight, Spike will face Matador of M83 in a number one contender match for the title shot at Resurgence. Spike's I-P title will not be on the line. Tonight we'll have two Trion Triple Threat matches and the winners will meet next week for the title. The matches are Mayhem vs Wolf vs Comrade Terror and Mesmer vs Count Necros vs Bounty Hunter." Highlights - Norse Gods defeat the Awesome Studs. In the first triple threat, Comrade Terror pins Wolf with an Atomic Warhead. In the second triple threat, Bounty Hunter pins Mesmer with an Animal Trap.
5/28/2091 - MNM, Glacier Sound, Pluto. Highlights - Prison Camp defeat the Galacticops. In the I-P final, Bounty Hunter pins Comrade Terror following an Ambush to regain the title. The Beasts of Burden successfully defend the GWF Tag Titles vs Cosmic Forces.
6/4/2091 - MNM, Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars. Dukedave - "Tonight we will have two matches to help determine the #1 contenders to the tag titles.
