Matt, With Legends International arriving this past week and the theme of the next LOW set to be about Indy wrestlers/ Legends of the Future, have you mentioned to any of the wrestlers in the Mid-Michigan Wrestling Association about possibly getting an official LOW card in the next set? In addition to the upcoming LOW set of Indy wrestlers, there is also of course the 2 official LOW cards of Indy wrestlers released every 3 months in the ICP magazine. Just in case you didn't see this, here was the post about the next LOW edition that Travis posted in the LOW forum a couple of weeks ago: PRESS RELEASE

HOLTER PUBLISHING AND FILSINGER GAMES TEAMING UP New Filsinger Games Legends of Wrestling TM edition to feature independent wrestlers
Filsinger Games, the creators of the popular Champions of the Galaxy TM and Legends of Wrestling TM games, and Indy Circuit Pulse TM magazine are teaming up for an exciting new project: the Legends of Wrestling TM Legends of the Future game edition. In 1984, Tom Filsinger proposed a wrestling game to the World Wrestling Federation only to be rejected in favor of a Milton Bradley game. This rejection inadvertently led to the creation and success of Champions of the Galaxy, a sci-fi wrestling dice-and-card game that can be played alone or with two or more friends, and which features hundreds of characters from the future or professional wrestling. Champions of the Galaxy was first released in 1986, and over 30 expansions have followed since then. Because of this, Filsinger has been able to collaborate with some exceptionally talented artists through the years such as Darryl Banks, Scott Rosema, and Hannibal King. The most prolific Champions of the Galaxy artist is Brian Michael Bendis, one of the biggest names in the comic book field. Filsinger Games also released another card game featuring real-life wrestling stars called Legends of Wrestling in 2000. In 2007, Filsinger Games released a computer simulation version of Champions of the Galaxy called COTGonline.
In 2007, Holter Publishing launched a new print magazine dedicated to independent wrestling titled Indy Circuit Pulse. The quarterly magazine includes both entertaining and informative stories about every aspect of the business. With guest writers such as independent wrestling icon Mike Quackenbush and wrestling legend Ric Draisin, Indy Circuit Pulse has set itself apart from other professional wrestling publications with a fresh, professional look at the business.
The new Legends of Wrestling game edition will feature 12 or more independent wrestlers to be included as official characters in the game. In order to fill those 12 spots, Indy Circuit Pulse is contacting several of the top independent wrestlers on the circuit today. In addition to the core group of wrestlers chosen to be characters in the game, the magazine is also holding a contest to fill a couple of those spots.
“This is a great opportunity for independent wrestlers to get some exposure.” States Indy Circuit Pulse Publisher and Editor Mark Holter. “There are thousands of people who play the Legends of Wrestling game. Filsinger Games is known for innovation and creativity and has a huge, loyal following.”
If you are an independent wrestler and are interested in being one of the lucky 12 characters in the upcoming Legends of the Future game edition, send an audition tape to: Holter Publishing Legends of the Future 614 5th Ave NW Minot, ND 58703

MMWA "Redskin Rumble" Results:
Location: Sandusky Middle School (9/18/07)
Match 1: Xavier Justice had no regard for the rules in his "match" against Kincaid. The bell rang, and the two locked up, only to have Xavier Justice take some cheap shots on Kincaid, and then beat him down with a chair right in front of the ref. Kincaid won via DQ, but Xavier Justice was the one that walked out.
Match 2: Bull Wheeler dominated Adam Sniper in Bull's long awaited return to the MMWA.
Match 3: This match was scheduled to be a return match between Brad Hexum and Billy Maconic, but after Hexum's name was announced, no one appeared. The ref initiated the 10 count, and Hexum was awarded the loss via count out. Leaving Maconic 2-0 against Hexum, and dropping Hexum to 0-9 in the MMWA! When will the loosing streak end?
Match 4: MMWA tag team champions the Suicycos defeated Vinnie DaVinci and Glen Jaggermeister, after Glen and Vinnie had some issues. Glen refused to help Vinnie while he was getting beaten by the Sycos, and threw out verbal punishment to add to the physical punishment he was taking in the ring. Glen walked off, and Vinne super kicked him as a receipt.
Match 5: Hades beat Jordan Ice
Match 6: Alcatraz pinned "Too Tough" Tommy Titus. After the ref was knocked down, Alcatraz went for his chains and swung at Titus. Titus ducked, and went for a back suplex. While in the air, Alcatraz smashed the chains into the face of Tommy Titus, and he fell to the mat with Alcatraz on top of him.
Match 7: The Prophets of Impact (Evan Epic and Aaron Orion), "Edible" Michael Barnes, and "So Fine" Frank Stein defeated Steven Blade, Hayseed Calhoun, Jerry Draven, and Deuce Diamond in a very good 8-man tag match. Aaron Orion and Evan Epic hit a back elbow/German suplex double team move on Jerry Draven to get the pin.
Match 8: Sky Devian finally reached his goal of becoming the MMWA Cruiserweight Champion. Kid Statik put the belt on the line in a 3-way LADDER Match against Sky Devian and Nick Xero. Xero wouldn't agree to participate, because the match was "beneath" him. But as soon as both Sky and Statik were down he charged the ring, and climbed the ladder for the belt. Sky and Statik stopped him, and the match continued. The match ended after Sky hit a Death Valley Driver off the top of the ladder on Statik, and reached up and took down the title.
Match 9: MMWA champion, Sebastian Rose showed why he is the champ by defeating Daniel Sigma in a great title match. Following the match, Rose announced that he was making Daniel Sigma the number 1 entry into the MMWA Redskin Rumble, and that the match started immediately!
Match 10: Redskin Rumble: Daniel Sigma stayed in the rumble from number one all the way through the field until it was down to Alcatraz, Kid Statik and himself. Statik and Sigma worked over Alcatraz, but were soon taking a beating. Alcatraz turned things around, and tossed Sigma from the ring onto the apron. Statik drop kicked Alcatraz who fell into Sigma on the apron, and Sigma fell to the floor. Alcatraz shook off the drop kick, and attacked Statik. Alcatraz hit the most vicious "Violator" that has ever been seen, and body pressed Statik over the top rope. Alcatraz turned his back, and didn't see that Sigma had caught Statik and rolled him back into the ring. As Alcatraz turned to see what had happened, Statik and Sigma both pulled down the top rope and laughed as Alcatraz flew over top and landed on the floor. WINNER and NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER: KID STATIK!!!

"Firebird Theatrics" results 10/27/07
Match 1: Brad Hexum came out to the ring demanding an apology from the fans, which he did not get. Hexum introduced Billy Maconnic, and Billy came out to Hexums' music, dressed up as Hexum for Halloween. The fans ate it up, and Maconnic introduced the MMWA Loser weight title. Maconnic ended up pinning Hexum to make himself 3-0 and dropping the NEW MMWA Loser weight Champion, Brad Hexum to 0-10!
Match 2: Diego DaVinci, Jerry Draven, and the ULTIMATE DAVINCI pinned Johnny Cam, DC Wylde, and Josh Bennett in a 6 man contest. The fans were treated to the antics of Vinnie DaVinci dressed as the Ultimate Warrior, and acting like a complete lunatic! It was a sight to see...
Match 3: Hades pinned Hayseed Calhoun
Match 4: Xavier Justice pinned Kincaid in a Slave match! Thus making Kincaid his slave. Xavier Justice quickly took advantage of his slave by humiliating him, making him put on a full body Hot Dog costume and sell raffle tickets to the crowd.
Match 5: Malibu’s Most Wanted pinned the Prophets of Impact for the victory in a 4 corners NON title tag match which also involved the Suicycos, and the team of Johnny Lawless and Adam Reynolds.
Match 6: "Candyman" Kevin Baker got the victory over 'Big Money' Chuck Weeden and the Gameboy in a 3 way contest.
Match 7: Daniel Sigma rolled up Alcatraz after Alcatraz attempted to use his chains to his advantage. After Sigma got the win, Alcatraz gave him a beat down.
Match 8: Nick Xero defeated Sky Devian to win the MMWA Cruiserweight title after some very unethical tactics. Sky Devian hit a top rope German suplex, and went to follow it up with a split legged moonsault. Xero rolled out of the way, and Devian hit HARD! Xero got back to his feet, spun the ref around, and punted Sky Devians' "special guys" to the moon, and then covered him with his feet on the ropes.
Match 9: Sebastian Rose pinned Kid Statik after a spectacular match-up! Statik was close on so many occasions, but the power and size of Rose worked to his advantage, and he hit the biggest choke slam the MMWA has ever seen to gain the victory!

MMWA: Unhappy Holidays December 8th 2007
The show opened in an unusual fashion with Brad Hexum running out into the arena, and hiding under the ring. Closely behind him was head ref Jason Steed carrying the Loser Weight title. The fans helped the ref find Mr. Hexum, and an argument about possession of the title ensued. Hexum as usual refused to take possession of his property, and the ref demanded that he take it. Hexum got on the mic, and started begging not to have to carry the belt, and then turned to bashing the fans. During this, Sky Devian walked to the ring, and challenged Brad Hexum to a match to shut him up. The ref made the match official, and here we go.
Brad Hexum (Loser Weight Champ) vs. Sky Devian: Good opening match with a lot of crowd interaction. Many “Loser” chants were audible in respect for the champ. In a back and forth match, Hexum showed good skill. After Sky got a timely reversal, and went for his Sky Driver, Hexum raked the eyes and slipped out the back door. Hexum grabbed a chair, and went after Sky. Sky ducked the chair, and rolled Hexum up with a school boy for the pin! Hexum went after Sky after the bell, and got caught with a super kick. Sky then propped Hexum up in the corner, and called a young fan to the ring. The fan held the chair in front of Hexum, and Sky hit a coast to coast drop kick to the chair, drilling Hexum and knocking him out cold! WINNER: SKY DEVIAN
Prophets of Impact vs. Steven Blade and Deuce Diamond: The Prophets took a beating early in the match, but resorted to some timely double team moves to gain control. They double teamed Blade and had him down and in pain for a good amount of time. The Prophets worked over the left leg of Blade, and had Blade on the verge of tapping out. Blade made a big tag to Deuce, and he entered the ring, and cleared house. Blade and Diamond ended up getting the pin after hitting a version of the Heart Attack! WINNERS: STEVEN BLADE AND DEUCE DIAMOND
“CP Assassin” Ryan McQueen vs. Hayseed Calhoun: Hayseed got a great crowd reaction and controlled most of the match, finishing with his new move. An Airplane spin into a flapjack! WINNER: HAYSEED CALHOUN
Next Xavier Justice came out and talked about his upcoming match with MMWA Champ, Sebastian Rose. Justice told his “slave” Kincaid that if he helped him win the belt, that he would set him free.
Suicycos (MMWA Tag Team Champions) w/ the Preacher vs. Malibu’s Most Wanted: The Cycos worked over DJ Malibu for most of the match, hitting many big time moves. They neglected to make the cover, and showboated instead. The crowd showed their dislike of the Cycos the whole match. DJ made a tag, and Jamie Malibu got in the ring, and threw Slasher and Overkill to the ground with a series of clotheslines. MMW got on a roll, and were about to hit their finisher when DJ hit the ropes, and the Preacher hit him in the back with a cane. DJ stumbled and turned his attention to the Preacher and chased him around the arena. The Cycos took advantage of the 2-1 and pinned Jamie Malibu after hitting Cyco Therapy! WINNERS: SUICYCOS
Adam Sniper vs. Gutter: This match was a great technical display by both wrestlers. Gutter made his return to the MMWA after a 3 show absence, and the crowd was happy to see him. Gutter worked Sniper over on the mat, and hit a nice series of moves. Sniper then hit a series of quick reversal pin attempts and a nice head scissor takeover. Gutter took back over, and hit his finisher to gain the pin. WINNER: GUTTER
Alcatraz vs. Daniel Sigma: Sigma started out quickly in this match, and had the early advantage. He hit a nice super kick, and then reversed Alcatraz’s attempt at the Violator into a cover. Alcatraz kicked out of the pin attempt and cut Sigma off with a snake eyes. Alcatraz then hit the Violator for the pin. After the match, Alcatraz hit yet another Violator for good measure. WINNER: ALCATRAZ
4 Corners elimination match for the Vacated Cruiserweight Title: Kid Statik vs. Billy McConnoich vs. Jerry Draven vs. Vinnie DaVinci Statik and Billy started out with some great ground work that ended in a stand off. The two then turned around and pulled Jerry Draven into the ring. Billy then worked Draven over until he tagged Vinnie into the ring. Vinnie hit a nice drop kick, and then Statik joined the party by hitting a few kicks of his own. Draven finally cut Billy off, and hit him with a few power moves. Dropping him with a flying knee. Billy ended up eliminated Draven with a Frog Splash. Vinnie and Statik made some quick tags and worked over Billy until Statik hit his version of the Fame Asser. Vinnie however intervened and stole the pin. Vinnie and Statik went back and forth attempting high flying moves which they both kept reversing. The match finally ended with Statik hitting the Statik Destroyer and Senton for the pin! WINNER AND NEW MMWA CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMP: KID STATIK
MAIN EVENT: Sebastian Rose (MMWA Heavyweight Champion) vs. Xavier Justice w/ “Slave” Kincaid In a battle of bad guys, it seemed that the man that would get the pin would be the man that could cheat the best. Both men threw the book out the window, and cheated left and right. Kincaid tried to hold up his end of the bargain by helping Justice when he could. Justice locked in the Nerve Hold, but Rose escaped after he pulled the hair. A head butt war then ensued, which neither man won. Kincaid grabbed Rose, and Rose went and got in his face, giving Justice the upper hand. Justice missed a clothesline and a splash to the post back to back, and Rose started pummeling him with punches. Each man then hit back drops from the corner on one another. Justice locked in a few submission moves, but Rose refused to tap. Rose turned it around with his brawling style, and got a close pin fall. Justice went for the Nerve Hold, and Rose reversed, going for the Choke slam. Justice then locked in the Nerve hold, and Rose started fading away. Rose mustered up his energy, and lifted Justice up for the Choke slam! Rose covered while still in the Nerve Hold, but Justice kicked out! Justice called for a chair from Kincaid, which he got. When Justice went to hit Rose, Kincaid tripped him! Justice fell face first into the chair, and then Rose hit him with the Choke slam once again! Rose got the pin, and kept the title! Kincaid then got on the mic, and said that he would rather be Justices’ slave then see him be the MMWA Champion! WINNER: SEBASTIAN ROSE

February 23rd, Sandusky Middle School. MMWA 1 Year Anniversary Show.
Match 1: Profits of Impact pinned Malibu’s Most Wanted after Evan Epic hit DJ Malibu with a Tiger Suplex.
Sky Devian came out to thank the fans for coming out to the shows for a year. Then he called Kid Statik out to wish him a happy birthday, and gave him a present. It turned out to be a trophy with “Breakout Superstar of the Year 2007!” on it. As Statik went to the back, the Suicycos came out and attacked Sky Devian. After a short beat down, Daniel Sigma ran to the ring and made the save. Setting up a Tag Team Title match for later on in the evening.
Match 2: Billy McConnoich once again beat Brad Hexum after special guest ref Vinnie DaVinci pushed Hexum and Billy rolled him up for the pin.
Match 3: Hades came out on top of Diego DaVinci and Deuce Diamond in a three way contest after low blowing Deuce and rolling him up for the three.
Match 4: Hayseed Calhoun and Steven Blade pinned Levi Blue and Johnny Rebel in the No DQ Hillbilly Scuffle match after Blade powerbombed Rebel, and Calhoun hit a big top rope elbow!
Match 5: Xavier Justice beat Jeff Brooks after a crafty match. Justice threw Brooks off by working over the ear the entire match. Brooks was off balance and just couldn’t pull it out in the end.
Match 6: Kid Statik climbed the ladder and grabbed his MMWA Cruiserweight title after hitting Nick Xero with a Top Rope Double Underhook Piledriver!
Match 7: The Experience (Sky Devian and Daniel Sigma) pinned the Suicycos after Daniel Sigma hit a Double A Spine buster on Slasher. The Experience are the NEW MMWA Tag Team Champions!
Match 8: “Amazing” N8 Mattson beat the MMWA Champion, Sebastian Rose via DQ. Rose attempted to throw powder into N8’s eyes, but N8 ducked and the powder hit the ref in the face. N8 hit the M-80 and the Amazing Leg Drop, and went for the pin. The fans counted the pin, and the bell rang, but it was for the ref to call the DQ. So Sebastian Rose is still the MMWA Champion!
About 115 fans sat in attendance for the show, and were very lively! The N8 Mattson vs. Sebastian Rose match did not disappoint! This was one of the best MMWA shows to date…and we thank everyone for coming out and supporting us.
