I said Dreggs because he had great success with both Mace and Sleeze for me. Multiple time tag champ with both guys.

Antak has a total of 7 tag awards in our fed -- 3 TToftY w/ Animen Invasion (Minotaur, who is truly one of the more underrated wrestlers in the last 10 years); 2 TToftY & 2 Hardcore TToftY awards w/ Animen Horde (w/ budding superstar Swarm, whose career has already been partially made through the kick-buttedness of Antak).

Went with Vigilante, as the Galacticops were dominant for me and The Mercenaries were even better.

I voted Dreggs, but for me it was Thantos who held the GWF tag title with 4 seperate guys, Bishop Hell, Dreadnaught, Bounty Hunter & Star Warrior 2x. He had great runs with all of them.

Darkos for me. He had great runs with Whiplash and Mad Jester (they were Tragedy & Comedy for me before Theatre of Pain was around).

Depends on two things in my views . The most ever reigns is 6 by Dreggs . The longest reign is 222 days by Desolation Factor . So I say Dreggs .

It's hard to argue against Sleeze or Overkill; but I'm going with Dreggs.

I went with Massacre on this one. Massacre was just awesome, Dreggs was a close second but looking back at the title reigns i had to give it to Massacre.

As a multiple time tag team champion in the WWF, I know a little something about being what Gorilla used to call a 'tag team specialist'.. To be a great tag wrestler, it's about more than just dry statistics of how many tag title reigns a guy has. It comes down to the nuts & bolts of what team work is all about. By this I'm talking about: self sacrifice, loyalty, dependability & an insatiable drive to put the concept of 'team' above & beyond any individual ambitions. In my experience that man would be Overkill. For the ENTIRETY of his career, this Gladiator has put collective success as his overriding goal. He was born and breed to carry on the Aethran tradition of tag team dominance. In the end, Overkill achieved his mission, with not one-but TWO Hall of Fame caliber teams. Others on the list are great, but no one man listed was as tunnel vision as Overkill. He's a man who achieved his purpose, and in the process became the greatest tag wrestler in GWF history. Tony Garea nailed it...and I'm sure Dean Ho, Samoan Afa, Jules Strongbow, Bobby Eaton and Gene/Ole/Arn Anderson would all concur with this philosophy 100%! In my Fed Overkill 'lived' tag wrestling...that type of tunnel visioned dedication...along with the results that came with it...define what a truly great 'tag wrestler' is all about. Badger was very similar in the 'tag specialist' sense and I'd peg him a close second...but he lacked longevity (I would have loved to have seen him get a longer run along with an update...but it just never happened).
LWPD (throughout their careers Thunder and Dreggs were both very versatile...yet their dynamic success on the singles scene leads me to evaluate them more along the lines of being Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels types...I'd be more likely to peg them very high in a 'Greatest All Around Performer/Jack of All Trades' type of lisitng...which is a credit in it's own right)

Massacre carried the Gladiators when they got cleansed and I think he really set the bar for monster tag team specialist.

What brought this thread back from the dead after 3 years anyway?

If you go by Rahl ratings, then technically it's either Thunder 2112 or Endgame. Ok, but seriously if want to make it about 'specialists', then it comes down to Massacre or Overkill. Sorry, there aren't any other arguments to be made in my opinion. Out of those two then I take Overkill because he did it with more than one partner and because he was still awesome even before being denied a cleansing for so long. Overkill...all other debates are for second place. It's frankly disgusting that he's not up there. 'Honorable Mention?!?!?!?!?!'....please, what an insult. I do give props to Dreggs for carrying two jerks his whole career though.

What brought this thread back from the dead after 3 years anyway? I can only assume it died because of everyone in shock over the fact that Overkill was reduced to 'other'.

I will say Dreggs because he seemed like he could have been an awesome singles wrestler also. Massacre is a close second.
